New Stanek WND column, “Barack Obama’s constitutional crisis”

Barack Obama considers himself a constitutional expert. A graduate of Harvard Law School, he taught constitutional law at the University of Chicago for 10 years. Both are listed in the top 10 law schools in the country.
But don’t be fooled. Obama is constitutionally challenged in at least one key area.
Example one comes from Obama’s book, “Audacity of Hope” (page 53), where he quoted then misinterpreted the Declaration of Independence….
Worse, here is what Obama said when arguing against Illinois’ Born Alive Infants Protection Act, legislation to guard against infanticide, during Senate floor debate:I just want to suggest… that this is probably not going to survive constitutional scrutiny.
Number one, whenever we define a pre-viable fetus as a person that is protected by the equal protection clause or the other elements in the Constitution, what we’re really saying is, in fact, that they are persons….Incredible stuff. Not only did Obama make no sense, he showed just how far he would go to safeguard abortion.
First, Obama contended age is a determining factor whether constitutional rights apply….

It is sad to see Barack Obama twist around the words of the Declaration of Independence and of Thomas Jefferson, but Obama is spiritually sick and abortion is sacred to him.
If Obama and other liberals like him couldn’t advocate that the Constitution and the Declaration of Independence must be interpreted differently for modern times, than they would try to do away with both once and for all as archaic racist relics by wealthy white slaveowners.
The founding fathers had anointing and wisdom, but Obama and his ilk view them with a grain of salt in the midst of their spiritual blindness.
Incredible!. I don’t think the new members of the Supreme Court along with Scalia and Thomas and hopefully, Kennedy would ever see it his way.
As a matter of fact, neither did Hillary Clinton, Ted Kennedy, Barbara Boxer or John Kerry, who all voted for the federal Born Alive Infant Protection Act.
Just think, had Obama’s momma had an abortion at the time, Hillarsaurus would be sleeping better at night, we’d have no need for proctologists, and you’d have had nothing to write about.
Oh, I’d still have plenty to write about. But there’s certainly plenty of poop to dig up on Obama, if you’ll excuse combining of puns.
Great article! You articulated words like a knife that cut through his charade!
Obviously Obama is not the sharpest knife in the drawer. But he’s dangerous none-the-less because he’s got a baby face, good looks, and a politicians tricky tongue. He’s also the media’s pet.
Not-so-smart citizens may side with him until they get a better look at what he represents. Will the mainstream media liars and deceivers allow this or feed us more BS?
Thank you, for a well reasoned and well written article exposing Barak Obama… and hundreds of thousands (if not millions–sigh) of his like-minded ilk.
I like Obama okay. His pro-choice stance doesn’t bother me. Nor do I think it would it bother a majority of voters. Bush’s terrible record on practically everything almost assures a Democratic president in ’08. None of the frontruners are “pro-life,” so I figure this whole movement will be on the back burner for another 4 to 8 years. As the youngest generation is decidedly less religious, more tolerant of gay rights, and more pro-choice, I think perhaps your cause is lost. I don’t expect you to stop your efforts, nor would I ask you to. But it must be depressing at times.
Hi Gary,
your sentimentality is pure drivel! (maybe you need a wake-up call) Look into recent population demographics and weep … (please, do not slobber at the assured fright of our future!)
John, I wasn’t making this stuff up:
The Pew Research Center has just done their latest survey of attitudes among the young. They are markedly less religious than their elders – and previous generations. The percentage claiming they are agnostic or atheist has doubled in twenty years to one in five today; they regard heavy drinking as worse than smoking pot; they have become much less Republican than they once were. George W. Bush has persuaded most of the younger generation to vote Democratic, reversing Reagan’s gains among the young. They are much more pro-immigrant than their elders and 74 percent favor some privatizing of social security (yay!); but they’re dovish on the use of military force. They are divided equally on gay marriage (47 – 46 in favor, compared to 64 – 30 against among those over 25) but overwhelmingly support gay adoption.
Gary,
my apologies … polls are just ideas of the present … the population problem is huge and will make the Dirty-30′s seem like a cake-walk. [the moon-walk will be forgotten! M-J who?] Trouble is: this isn’t an opinion. There will be a large impetus on ways just to survive…
as just one example … China will have 50 million extra unmarried men because of their one-child-policy (fact). Will American youth see them as foes when China places these men in their military? that’s 5-0- million!
No apology necessary. I was suprised by the poll a bit myself. You are of course correct that polls do not predict the future, but I do think we’re experiencing a trend towards less religion. Less religion would equal less support for laws restricting abortion, but it’s not a direct relationship. I’m aware of some who oppose abortion on non-religious grounds.
I guess time will tell.
Gary – What did the Pew Poll say about youth attitudes re: abortion? You didn’t list that. Other recent polls indicate they are predominantly pro-life.
Jill, here’s here’s link:

In general, Pew says “GenNexters do not differ from the rest of the population on the issue of abortion. As in the case with the general public, there is no consensus view among Nexters about limits on the availability of abortions.” They go on with more detail. It looks to me like they’re slightly more pro-life then the general population. page 42 of the report.
They’re ok with the “so-called morning after pill without a doctor’s prescription.” 59% to 32%
58% cay homosexuality should be accepted by society.
Thank you for your editorial on Obama. While he might make a positive contribution to a Toastmasters Club, I would not vote for Obama for President or any other elective office.
Keep up the extraordinary work! You are such a clear and steady voice crying out in a darkened and lost world!
Be cautious about polls that do not seperate the youngest gen-xers from true millenials, born between 1983-2002. This generation is more traditional, wants kids in traditional families and family roles. If you have kids you already know what I mean.
To put it in popular media terms I’ll just say a film title: Napoleon Dynamite. This new generation is more responsible, and gets along with aging Baby Boomers, and will lead the reconstruction of family values in the coming years.
I urge others to read the very academic books written by Strauss and Howe: Generations, which goes into detail.
Warmly,
Kevin
