Rush on Zell
Rush Limbaugh also had something to say about former U.S. Sen. (and Democrat) Zell Miller’s recent comments that 45+ millions dead from abortion are causing military shortages, the Social Security crisis, and illegal immigration:
I would only have one small nitpick with former Senator Zeller [sic] over this: How many of these 45 million children who have been aborted would be Democrats, would be the offspring of Democrats? And as such, how many of them would have jobs? As such, how many of them would even think of joining the military?
I know they’re some Republican liberal babes in there that [have] gone out and had abortions, too, but the vast majority of them are liberals. This way if you look at the demographics of the future, you could say liberals are aborting themselves out of the majority if current trends hold. Everybody knows that’s who’s having the majority of these things.

So abortion is okay as long as the liberals are doing it, because hey, they wouldn’t be contributing to society anyway. How disgusting. The politics of one’s parents do not determine the politics of the offspring – my parents and I are on opposite ends of the political spectrum.
And Miller said absolutely nothing about abortion contributing to illegal immigration. How could it possibly? Where are you pulling that from?
Where do you find people like that? Seriously, if that’s not THE example of hypocrisy…
Zell Miller is SO not a Democrat. Members of the Georgia Democratic party have basically let it be known in Georgia (where I live) that he espouses barely any Democratic views, and is in fact a closet Republican.
I have always felt that Zell just needs to go ahead and change his stated political party, instead of claiming that his party left him. Party platforms change over time, and if you don’t agree any longer with what they say, then you switch to the party who DOES agree with you. It’s only logical.
So the fact that Zell says he’s a Democrat should have no bearing on his words. He is NOT a Democrat in any sense. He is a hardcore conservative Republican, and is simply misleading the public by calling himself anything else.
Now this is something to laugh at. Liberals are killing all their babies, and yet liberals are also the only people who look at child porn. Well, they have to get those kids from somewhere, and if there arent any liberal children to be had, that must mean that the conservatives are making a racket selling pictures of their children to indulge those bad baby killers. Tsk, tsk.
WHY do you quote Rush Limbaugh on your blog, Jill? His opinion here makes no sense: how does HE know what type of political views aborted babies would have had? That’s just it-he doesn’t. Most people should find his opinions laughable, because they are based on his own strange beliefs or “gut” feelings. Remember when he said Michael J Fox was faking his muscle spasms on commercials advocating stem cell research during the election season? Obviously, Rush Limbaugh is not a reliable source.
Rush is once again saying something a little outrageous to make a point. You have to listen to him enough to understand his way of communicating — especially on some of these more inflammatory statements.
Rush is pointing out how self-defeating and perverse abortion is. He’s representing the aborted children as people who would have grown up, influenced by their parents, and voting and acting in many cases like their parents.
If you listen much to Rush, you know he does not believe abortion is acceptable — even when it cuts the Democrat voter base.
