sick!
What a mess that slob left for authorities. What a money grubbing bum.
Heather,
Also, it would be terribly upsetting to me that my confidential records were in a dumpster for anyone to read. Can you imagine a law office, medical clinic, or hospital being this careless with confidential records? I would be immediately terminated from my job if I even looked at a patient chart I had no reason to look at, that’s how rigid confidentiality standards are. We even have special bins for disposal of confidential records.
Also, we treat body parts with considerably more respect than this. They go to pathology and are disposed of properly, and where there is a cultural issue, according to patient requests when possible. We also ask women if they would want their miscarried babies properly buried at a local cemetary. Some do, some do not, but the situation is always handled very respectfully and with regard to biohazardous risk.
Thankfully someone did report this appalling situation. Isn’t it ironic it was Monica Miller, a pro-lifer? I thought legal abortion meant an end to situations like this.
Another point, this is someone invited to speak to medical students? Couldn’t they find an abortion provider with somewhat higher standards than this?

Lol…abortion provider…higher standards? sounds like an oxymoron to me, Mary.
Thank God for people like Monica Miller.

tee hee hee.
Totally off topic. Sorry. Just saw it.

Good point.
This guy is likely the top of the line. That he would be invited to speak to medical students is beyond comprehension.
Mary and Elizabeth, lol!
Odd, you never really get many comments from pro choicers when you post articles like this one.
The next evenings report, mentioned towards the end of the video, on the pro-life lady who found the items in the dumpster can now be found here:

Heather,
That is just what I was thinking! Or they will come on and type “yawn.”

Mary, the guy got tagged for improper disposal of medical waste and records. It happened almost 300 times in my county last year. There were stiff fines.
I’d be really interested to find out if this guy had a current contract for biohazardous waste disposal. If Hodari had already paid for proper disposal and a low-end staff member or janitor dumped the stuff in the wrong bin, I can’t really fault the guy. I’m sure he doesn’t take out the garbage at his clinic.

what do you want us to say? This is a repeat post, there is nothing new since the one yesterday. Yes, it’s a shame. I already proclaimed that medical waste should not be in a dumpster, that confidential records should be handled more carefully. These things happen in non-abortion clinics also. Remember the story last week of a clinic reusing needles?
I see one of you made it to Andrew Sullivan’s Blog:
http://andrewsullivan.theatlantic.com/the_daily_dish/2008/03/obama-and-abort.html
Laura,
would you work at an abortion clinic? would you have an abortion?
FF,
It sounds like this has been ongoing, not a one time shot. Where I work there are 4 hospitals and numerous clinics. We have never seen a situation of any of them tossing biohazardous waste in the dumpster behind their buildings.
Low-level employee? Hodari and/or his medically trained staff never advised all employees about proper disposal of biohazardous material?
Our hospital housekeeping staff is very well informed and conciencious about this.
Concerning the medical records. What would these even be doing in the garbage? This is indefensible. Doesn’t he keep them locked in a confidential file or have a confidential disposal unit, as our hospital has? A contracted company then collects and disposes of all such records.
Standards are so rigid concerning confidentiality that a nurse at our hospital faced termination for looking at her hospitalized mother’s chart.
Hodari’s staff are as ignorant of how to handle confidential papers as they are the disposal of biohazardous waste. You would almost think they have no professional training or standards of any kind.
Um, this abortionist also killed 2 women. Remember that?
But Heather, don’t patients sign a form that relieves Hodari of any responsibility for his mistakes? Obviously these women are responsible for their own deaths.
Mary, great point! Of COURSE they are.
Mary, Dr. Hodari is the best! How could I have been so wrong about him being faulted for the deaths of 2 women under his care? It’s no different than the days of the knitting needles and coat hangers. Women were responsible for their own deaths back then, and they are responsible for them now.
” I already proclaimed that medical waste should not be in a dumpster, that confidential records should be handled more carefully. ”
it is curious that you would refer the hands and feet and body parts of the unborn as medical waste.
Roger, that’s how the authorities refered to them in one of the articles. If you want me to reject and denounce, I will. I don’t think the hands and feet and other body parts of the unborn should be in dumpsters.
ok so is the problem here that the hands and feet and body parts were improperly disposed of or is the problem the details by which hands and feet and body parts of a once complete fetus were dispatched thus revealing the true nature of abortion.
roger, should any dead body ever be in a dumpster?
no of course not. i think that what we see here is the true nature of abortion. we see body parts of the fetus, which if left to its own devices would become a child of God born into the world. that folks are able to delude themselves into seeing this as medical waste or the product of conception is unfortunate.
roger, are you pro life?
roger, I meant no offense.
I was confusing you with robert, a PCer.
ok
Forgive ME, but more about the subject, please!! You are going away from the topic too frequently, therefore it is uneasy to read your posts.
This was a fantastically written post and the pics complement the tale wonderfully! I’ll send it to my friend.
