New poll/Old poll
I have a new poll question up:
Late-term abortionist George Tiller’s family has announced they will not reopen his clinic. What do you think should become of it?
[HT: reader Keith A.]
Here are the results of my previous poll. Over 3/4 of you thought the Supreme Court should interpret the Constitution as originally written…
Here were your votes. Click to enlarge to find your own brightly colored flag…
As always, make comments to either this or last week’s poll here, not on the Vizu website.

The obvious answer is the first one. The worst miscarriages of justice occur when judges change the definitions of words to suit there ideology rather than reading the plain meaning of the written words.
Judges decided that sometimes “the people” means “the government.” Judges decided that “Public Use” means “public benefit” in the form of mere promised jobs and higher tax payments.
Being a “living document” doesn’t mean changing by redefining words to suit one ideology. It means that it can be changed by the amendment process. This is supposed to prevent people from using judges to get their way when elected officials won’t do it.
My sister is one of those who doesn’t care what the constitution says. She only cares about the Marxist fantasy of utopia.
I’m absolutely amazed at the short sightedness of the proaborts who want the SCOTUS to employ their personal opinions in making decisions. Don’t they realize that it will work against them the next time there is a conservative majority? Oh wait, they don’t think that will ever happen….
I’d say it’s completely up the the Tiller family to decide what to do with their property. I would prefer that it not be used as an abortuary any more.
The site should be turned into a plowed field and lay fallow for 50 years. That blood drenched soil needs jubilee worth of rest to recover the violence that was done on it.
yor bro ken
I like Ken’s suggestion. Bulldoze it and let it lay fallow for at least as many years as abortions were performed there. And when unborn babies are finally given constitutional protection, the same should happen at abortuaries across the country.
Great if it became a pregnancy resource center. (I don’t like the phrase, “crisis pregnancy center.” We should be putting a more positive spin on helping women.)
They should make it into a museum like Auschwitz. That way, people could tour it and see the killing rooms and the tools he used to torture and murder his victims. There should be rooms displaying case histories of the women who ended up either dead or physically or emotionally scarred as a result of Tiller’s “treatment”. There should be photographs of the stack from Tiller’s crematorium belching thick smoke and ash from the corpses of innocent children burning below.
Too graphic?
Not as long as this evil, demonic practice is still legal in the United States.
God have mercy on us.
gigi,
I agree – I like the name “Pregnancy Resource Center”. The pro-aborts have tarnished the name “crisis pregnancy center” (CPC)
by calling them “fake” women’s centers. How misinformed can they get?
Obviously, the museum would also include photographs of the tiny dismembered bodies of Tiller’s victims, and the supporting statistical data documenting the millions and millions and millions of murders nationwide pursuant to Roe v. Wade. Wait, I guess that would have to include a counter, with 8 digits.
Demolish it.
Turn it into a church, so the Lord might be praised! RJ
Beter yet, You could demollish the building, then sell the land to a not for prophet such as habatat for humanities, so they could do something with it. I know nothing about habatat for humanities. could they do something like that? RJ
“The pro-aborts have tarnished the name “crisis pregnancy center” (CPC) by calling them “fake” women’s centers.”
Well, it’s probably true that most “CPCs” are not staffed by RNs and MDs, in contrast to clinics, so I guess I can see why that (groundless) charge sticks. But either way, the word, “crisis,” obviously has negative connotations. Giving women choices other than abortion is a good thing – the terminology we use should reflect that!
It’d be interesting to see if an Exorcist Priest from the diocese that Wichita is from could perform an exorcism on the building and see how many demons would leave.
There’s already a Pregnancy Care Center right across from it, so I’d say Abortion Holocaust Museum.
I like Pregnancy Care Center. :)
There is an abortion memorial.

I wonder if people will put flowers and wreaths and teddy bears at Tiller’s to remember the babies and the women he hurt and killed.
I think it would be better to make a memorial similar to what has been done to the Nazi concentration camps.
Eventually all these abortuaries should be made into memorials with pictures of some of the victims (including any women who have died as a result of Tiller), detailed multimedia displays showing exactly what happened here etc.
Like the Shoah, if we forget we will repeat these mistakes. This must never be allowed to happen.
I’ve not seen the PRC medical clinic across the street, but Tiller’s clinic is a newer building and larger, right? It would be an upgrade to a larger and newer building…with good security. But I can’t see Tiller’s family selling or leasing to a pro-life organization for that matter. My other thought is to make it into a family care practice or a birthing center :)
That should say, “It would be an upgrade to more space, newer building, and good security against pro-choice vandilism (PRCs do unfortuantly get vandalized and picketed time to time).
The mill should be torn down, the soil turned, and the area should be transformed into a beautiful park. I visualize flowers, shade trees, a small pond where ducks and fish could flourish. Park benches for reflection and prayer. God will reclaim this property if we do what is right with this opportunity. Let life explode here. I see a memorial marker where people can leave flowers and rememberences for the thousands of lost lives at this site.
May God Bless and renew this property.

Thanks for the link Carla. I read the history of the memorial which was very encouraging.
Prayer works.
The Pro-Lifers there specifically prayed that the employees of the abortion mill be either be saved or removed from the clinic. God answered their prayers gloriously and ultimately gave them the building.
Sounds like knowing their authority in Christ and persistence were their keys to victory. The locals claim that theirs is the largest city in America without an abortion mill and give God all the glory.
It sounds like Tiller’s abortuary is big enough to accomodate both a PCC and an Abortion Holocaust Museum, similar to the model down in Chattanooga.
I think we need an Abortion Holocaust Museum in every major city.
Ed I agree.
I shudder to think of the building used as a pregnancy center unless the place is exorcised first.
Come to think of it, even as a museum, it should be exorcised and bless.
Yes Angel.
I don’t claim to understand all of the dynamics of prayer, spiritual warfare and exorcism, but I’ve heard of others being successful taking back their neighborhoods by praying sinners, “into the Kingdom or out of the neighborhood.”
We need to take back our cities for Christ.
Tony Perkins of the Family Research Council, an advocacy group in Washington, DC has initiated a “Call 2 Fall” for this July 5 encouraging churches to set time aside that Sunday morning to kneel and pray for our nation (www.call2fall.com). Lou Engle of The Call is supporting the effort encouraging his group to pray as well.
I’m shocked that there were actually votes for reselling it as an abortuary.
Since he had a crematory to burn the bodies, its one of the reasons I’d say a museum would be fitting.
Angel, LMT,
My earlier suggestion was what I’d consider a “politically correct” one. If it were really up to me, I would exorcise the building (good idea, angel), raze it, and put a beautiful park there as LMT suggested.
“I would exorcise the building”
That sounds too weird. Of course, I meant that I would have a an exorcist come and exorcise the building!
I can’t even begin to imagine the demons that haunt Tiller’s building.
You wouldn’t get me in there under threat of death. At least not without an entire tank of holy water!
Actually, it makes me think of that movie Pet Cemetery by Steven King. If anyone has seen it, remember the man killed after he was hit by the truck?……. The ground is sour!!!
Perhaps the call2fall prayers should include something
about the church engaging in massive protests of
the abortionists and their deadly mills.
If abortion is to be ended, “the church” will need to
get off of their collective duffs.
No child killing with tranquility!
