_______________
11/3, 6:36p:The 40 Days for Life blog is reporting that Abby Johnson, the former director of the Bryan, TX, Planned Parenthood who quit her job earlier this month and is now a pro-life convert, will appear on The O’Reilly Factor Friday night.
Read my previous post giving Johnson’s backstory here.
The Associated Press has an update on PP’s attempted restraining order against Johnson…
The injunction… prevents Johnson and the [Brazos Valley C]oalition [for Life] from releasing anything that Johnson, who was executive director for about 2 years, may have retained while working at PP – at least until the hearing.
Coalition Director Shawn Carney [pictured left] said Monday that there was not a campaign to reveal private information. He said PP’s actions were unnecessary and an overreaction.
Lawyers for PP wrote in court documents filed Friday that Johnson was seen copying confidential personnel files and possibly other documents in the days before she abruptly resigned on Oct. 6. The clinic’s lawyers expressed worry in the filings that Johnson might release clients’ medical records, information about doctors who work at the clinic and the clinic’s security measures.
Johnson said in a telephone interview with The Eagle that she didn’t turn over any documents to the Coalition for Life.
“I didn’t provide any because I don’t have any,” she said.
[HT: Pete K.]

Satan’s mistress thinks Johnson’s story is “fishy.”
Typical Pro Abortion ranting. I for one believe her. She said it was the way the baby COLLAPSED on the screen that made her change her views. Plus, she also was uncomfortable SELLING abortions.
Where did you find that comment, Liz?
I think it was on that video interview from the first news piece
Personally, I don’t buy Johnson’s ultrasound conversion story. She’s had time to see graphic images held by activists outside her clinic. For years she’s watched post-abortive wounded girls sent packing out the door.
My suspicion is she’s witness to a lot of illegal activity inside Planned Parenthood, thing we already know — underage girls getting abortions, defective birth control, overcharging the state. THAT’S what has Planned Parenthood spooked.
Salon had an article today on this very suspicious story. Recently this woman claimed in a radio interview that the picketers were threatening to kill her, her husband and daughter, and literally the next day she joins up with the picketers. Makes no sense.
PP will have to show cause why the temporary restraining order shoud be made permanent, or in order to avoid having to disclose even more confidential information about it’s internal operations, PP may just say, ‘Nevermind’.
Norma McCovey had a ‘conversion.’
Carol Everett had a ‘conversion’.
Sometimes God can speak louder than our inability or refusal to hear.
When ms Johnson spoke about her ‘conversion experience’ I had the feeling she was referring to more than just a change of mind about abortion on demand.
Though ms Johnson stated that she was a member of the Epsicopal church, she may not yet have been tranlated from the powers of darkness to the kingdom of God.
Saul of Tarsus had a rather sudden conversion from religion to a relationship with the living God.
Going to church seldom produces that kind of dramatic turn around.
yor bro ken
If it WAS an ultrasound, it could have been something similar to Dr. Nathanson’s Silent Scream ultrasound video.
Or it could be she does have information on illegal activities. Who really knows?
It takes a courageous person to leave the abortion industry, it takes even more courage to speak out against Planned Parenthood or any abortionist.
Yes, St. Paul was on his way to KILL AND IMPRISON Christians when he suddenly converted and joined their ranks!
I think you can avert your eyes and not look at pictures of aborted babies, especially when looking would make you so very uncomfortable and guilty. But I think if you are standing there WATCHING an abortion…yes, God could use that to speak to you very clearly.
Many women are so abortion-minded and then as soon as its over they wail “I killed my baby!” Their eyes are opened to the truth in the blink of an eye. I welcome Ms. Johnson to the winning side and the side of joy. I welcome every post-abortive mom too.
I don’t recall St. Paul getting a 7 figure book advance and six figure speaking tour from Rupert Murdoch. Day one she seeks maximum publicity as a martyr for the pro-choice cause, day 2, literally, she becomes a martyr for the pro life cause, day 3 she cuts her deal with Murdoch/Fox.
Sounds like the Sarah Palin playbook, with a dash of Kate Gosselin and Balloon Dad. Sydney has probably already sent her a check. I’m sure Fox will grill her on her story LOL.
Bystander,
While I detest your politics, I commend you for remaining in “enemy territory”.
Carry on.
Jesus rules , satan fools. God wins ! The Devil is too Stupid to Get That! Pro-Death crowd is Losing,That’s a Fact!
Gooooo Markie!
Adding: Don’t be Satan’s Fool
What is NOT included in this post is the fact that Johnson allegedly gave the address and phone numbers of two members of the facility to picketers. One of the picketers was then called and harassed. When asked about that, Johnson refuses to comment.
Sorry state of affairs, that.
As a Dutch person in which country abortion is legal i laugh out loud.
We have the lowest rate of abortion of the globe per 1000 people due to our good educational system and efforts in prevention.
You have forbidden it , in a rotten society and own the highest rating in young adult being unwanted pregnant. The highest addictsrates and crime.
What a nation.
god didn’t bless America at all.

Even the lowest rate of abortion doesn’t change the immorality of killing another human being. Which is what abortion does. Scientifically, there is no doubt about that. Philosophically, the only differences are Size, Level of Development, Environment and Degree of Dependency, none of which have a moral impact upon those outside the womb.
And unwanted pregnancies are simply a matter a choice of wanted vs unwanted.
Your enlightened country saw something horrible in the murder of Theo Van Gogh. He was clearly unwanted by another.
And if you believe a living God can bless a nation, then you must also believe a living God can curse a nation or a people for failing to be obedient to his just and righteous law.
If the Netherlands fertility rate continues to fall, if euthanasia and abortion are chosen when God has blessed couples with children, then you soon will be placed under sharia.
Bend, Bow or be beheaded. Absolute force will dominate an unwilling, but diminishing population in the Netherlands.
What is NOT included in this post is the fact that Johnson allegedly gave the address and phone numbers of two members of the facility to picketers.
The key word here being “allegedly”
Don’t make false assumptions unless you have ACTUAL 100% proof, H.A. Getting information from RH Reality Check or Huffington post is not a legitimate source.
hemaworstje : planned parenthood already pushes contraceptives every day on young people, so prevention (contraceptives, condoms) is not the answer.
Let me conclude my comments on Ms. Johnson by quoting two great American philosophers:
“We did it for the show” Balloon Boy
“There is a sucker born every minute” P.T. Barnum

I would venture to say that you are a less fertile nation, possibly having less sex, and that your purported “lowest abortion rate” has very little to do with better efforts in prevention (unless you count abstinence).
Are the thousands of abortions by legal prostitutes counted each year or do they go unreported?
Mods –
Warning, Do not go to hema’s website. It is porn.
Thanks for the head’s up, Janet. Taking care of it now.
My god ,stunned by the ignorance of you folks
Haven’t you have any education at all?
We legalized marihuana prostitutes abortion and euthanasia .
The lowest rate of drug addicts , lowest rate of abortion , we have no problems with streetprostitution like in other countries , Euthanasia is only allowed under very strick rules and only with consent of the person selve, it must be his wish.
But he , have fun with your teenparents , your crystal meth users your bankrupt country and the roemanian level of lifestyle.
ps janet , i don’t post porn i post sex and erotic.
Big difference but apparently the visitors are attracted to it , you were nr 21 from this site taking a peek.
Dirty …
Hi Hema.
“Haven’t you have any education at all? ”
No, we do not. Suppose that not a single pro-lifer posting on this site has any education at all. How does it follow that abortion does not kill an innocent human being?
hema @ 8:16,
Little countries (like the NL) have little problems, that’s the way it is. We, in the USA, just have to work harder to make a good society. It appears that the Dutch have taken the easy way out and given up.
Twenty-one people is a lot? Maybe for you. I’m sure they spent all of five seconds there and left. (Notice, the link is now gone.)
Abortion
in the U.S. In 2000-2001, the rates among black and Hispanic women were 49 per 1,000 and 33 per 1,000, respectively, vs.
13 per 1,000 among non-Hispanic white women.[25]
Europe: circa 2.0 per thousand inhabitants.
because we kicked the religion out , do anticonceptives and teach our children not to have sex without it.
Hippokrit frigid religious USA rules indeed.
p.s. i dont do porn i have some erotic things on my blog ( which ironically is based on a american server ) but apperently you liked it clicking around and several others according to my stats.
You all have a lovely day now.
Anyone else feel like hemaworstje is dancing around in a field of straw men?
HI hema.
How do your non-cited statistics show that abortion does not kill an innocent human being?
Lauren,
Is that what they call it these days?
Hema — it is not true that you don’t have problems with legalized prostitution. There is evidence that women from other countries are being forced into prostitution there, and that some women are being strong-armed by pimps from eastern Europe and other countries to work for them. Some of the brothels have closed, because massage parlors and other sex-for-hire venues offer sexual services for lower prices. I think most of us know what a “massage with a happy ending” means.
Our president can go around apologizing for what a terrible country this is, but most of us don’t feel that way. You certainly entitled to your opinion about the U.S., but guess what — we really don’t care.
In America, some of us have VALUES, and teach our children that sex is a special act of Unitive love for a HUSBAND and WIFE only. And some of us actually consider children to be a gift. That’s why some of us don’t promote the use of contraceptives, many which can cause an early chemical abortion, not to mention the side effects like blood clots. We accept each child lovingly from God. Some of us have discovered a no side effects form of family planning that uses the natural signs of fertility to SPACE children. And its not the old Rhythm method that Grandpa and Grandma used.
Euthanasia is disgusting and no country should promote deliberately killing someone early because “they’ll die anyway”.
http://www.infowars.com/print/life/euthanize_children.htm
Do you really kill disabled children in the Netherlands?
Hema, you don’t have to be conservative or religious to be pro-life. I don’t have anything against the Netherlands- on the contrary, one of my heroes since I was twelve was Dutch and I’m absolutely fascinated by the language. I don’t really care all that much about marijuana and I’m always incredibly proud of anyone who can raise women’s status enough to drastically reduce abortion. But I don’t think that we as a society have to live with anything like bigotry, which is what abortion is. We can get rid of all of that- we can find peace and acceptance for all people.
Hema,
Until you can stop the flow of thousands of Americans escaping our backwards system to the free and holy shores of the Netherlands, I suggest you focus on keeping the jihadis out of Eurabia.
Geert Wilders rocks.

Care to provide a source? Or proof?
Eurabia? What are you talking about?
the so called uncited statitics are simple from your own healthdepartment. Wikipedia confirms it with other data and it is somemthing any European knows it has been a fact for decades.
Simple fact , we bastard europeans without religion have 3 “murder per 1000
Relgious America bounces way higher
between 13 for white and 49 for blacks.
We dislike abortion just as much as everybody but we know this is the only way to get the rates down.
Europa has the same amount of inhabitants as the USA
So telling kids sex is for marriage only is not working, bet ya a worthless dollar
95 % of all the folks in here had pre marriage sex.
statistic fact:
According to the Center for Disease Control and Prevention, the United States has the highest teenage pregnancy rate of all developed countries. About 1 million teenagers become pregnant each year and 95 percent of those pregnancies are unintended. Of those unintended pregnancies, almost one-third end in abortion.
No we don’t kill handicapped baby’s and no we don’t kill elderly or sick people
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Euthanasia_in_the_Netherlands
it is making an end to a miserable life so you don’t have to put a shotgun to your face dying from pain.
Sure keep the person in coma for 33 years. God’s will right?
And no geert wilders does not rock , islam forbids abortion , geert W political party has no problem with abortion at all.
Thinking America as the richest religious country in the world is sad to see you have roemanian standards when it comes to health crime and welfare.
Good to know God blessed your country..
How does all that show that abortion does not kill an innocent human being?
The AP story shows that, or does the one I read anyway. From Jill’s link:
“Court documents filed by Planned Parenthood stated that Johnson told a nurse practitioner who works at the clinic that she gave Coalition for Life a document with the nurse’s home address and phone number. Johnson declined to comment on that allegation.
Planned Parenthood also said that an out-of-town physician who provides occasional services to the Bryan clinic was recently contacted by a protester associated with Coalition for Life. Johnson and Carney said the physician’s identity was publicly known as a doctor who provides abortions.”
Seems shady to me. People generally don’t deny to comment if they can easily proclaim their innocence.
Ok, Human you just set yourself up for this one.
You mean like how Obama’s handled the Birthers? I mean, since he has nothing to hide, it makes since that he would just easily dismiss the whole issue…right?
Oh, and Hema says they don’t kill people…they just end their lives. Get it right, guys!
The difference, of course, is that the “Birther” movement is only slightly less ridiculous than the idea that we didn’t really land on the moon.
Lauren, exactly what came to my mind. Let’s not forget the $1.3 million in lawyers’ fees (thus far) to keep all records (school, thesis, etc.) sealed!
“Seems shady to me. People generally don’t deny to comment if they can easily proclaim their innocence.” -HA
Vannah,
Europe+ Arabia= Eurabia
Here’s another one:
Europe+ (muslim country)stan= Europistan
Basically, these are references to the fact that the muslim population in Europe is increasing drastically, and the most radical among those muslim communities demand that sharia law be implemented in these free nations. And that’s just the tip of the iceberg.
If you follow atlasshrugs.com and jihadwatch.com, one quickly gets up to speed on how insidious this movement of an Islamcized Europe truly is.
So I’m attempting to communicate to our Dutch neighbor that while he is under the impression that we are not a blessed nation, it would behoove him to pay more attention to what is going on within his own borders before he lectures us about our problems.
And as far as his little reference to God blessing our country, allow me to make this distinction:
Yes, Hema, we are a blessed country. Has our country squandered its blessings? Regrettably, in many areas, yes. Just like I’m sure you think the Netherlands is awesomely awesome, but there are things about your beloved country that you would prefer to change.
We could go tit for tat here, but the truth remains that as much as you would like to trash the USA, people from all over the globe continue to come here to seek a better life for themselves and their families. That hasn’t changed in centuries.
Yes your country DOES kill handicapped children, hemaworstje. Your reasons for killing children and the elderly are WRONG.
Grandma’s in a coma, she’s going to die anyway, so lets give her medicine that will stop her breathing (she’s still breathing on her own, she’s just in a coma).
Or “Sarah has Cerebral Palsy and probably doesn’t want to live this way, so lets let her go without food and water.” That wikipedia link says to be eligible for euthanasia: “Patients between 12 and 16 require the consent of the parents”.
So, mom and dad can consent to kill their own child because they think it’ll be relieving them of PAIN and SUFFERING?
HA, ok, so the first aforementioned incident is a he-said, she-said type situation & unless there is documentation of the conversation, it’s only heresay. Also, in the second situation, notice there’s only correlation there (and correlation does not equal causation) in relation to the time she quit & the when the contact info was spilled, with no evidence directly linking her to it, only tangible at best. What ever happened to innocent until proven guilty? And Planned Parenthood better have some strong evidence & not just pulling this out of their a** as a publicity stunt or retribution towards this woman for quitting & becoming antiabortion.
The difference, of course, is that the “Birther” movement is only slightly less ridiculous than the idea that we didn’t really land on the moon.
The difference of course is diddly squat- you just don’t hold the same standards for Obama as you do for the former Planned Parenthood director.
Ugh, that is sick.
Yeah, Bethany, your reference to the Birther movement has absolutely killed any desire I have left to argue with you, or anyone else on this site, ever. McCain wasn’t born in the US; wanna talk about holding people to difference standards now?
Regrettably, however, I refrain from arguing with those who have a tenuous grip on reality, and I tend to believe those who support the “Birther” movement lack even that. I’ll be deleting my bookmark to the site, and no longer contributing to page views.
So is goes. In addition to killing my desire to ever return to Christianity and whatever modicum of respect I had for the pro-life movement, the site eventually killed my desire to keep visiting the site. The height of irony.
Hi HA.
“In addition to killing my desire to ever return to Christianity…”
Is this really a good reason to not return to Christianity? Don’t you think you owe it to yourself to look at the evidence and reasons for Christianity rather than the behavior of individual Christians? Can’t a certain worldview or philosophy be correct but those who hold to it give it a bad name?
So is goes. In addition to killing my desire to ever return to Christianity and whatever modicum of respect I had for the pro-life movement,
Typical, isn’t it? Blame your hatred for Christianity on the fact that others disagree with you. I’ve heard it before.
I’ll be deleting my bookmark to the site, and no longer contributing to page views.
Don’t let the door hit ya…
Oh, Please, HA. You completely set yourself up for that observation and now your off crying in a corner like a child because we called you on it.
Now you’re going to take your toys and go home!
Grow up.
I’m with you Bethany… generally speaking when people are tired of visiting a site they stop visiting and posting there.
Big speeches about how they don’t want to visit the site anymore mean nothing of the sort… just that they want some attention.
So, if you’re so tired of being here, HA, please go. It would spare us your ridiculous pontifications.
Thank God someone had the guts to take a stand .. there are more testimonies out there similar to hers.
Since no one in any business will ever hire her, I hope Ms. Johnson finds a lot of money as the new far right heroine. Who do you suppose would hire someone accused of giving confidential company information on co workers and clients to a group she claimed wanted to harm or kill them?
By the way, what kind of idiot lawyer would let her go on national television with a critical hearing and a civil case pending? Another publicity seeker?
What do you suppose Carrie Prejean will do? She won’t be hired in almost any business, including the entertainment or fashion industry that she wanted to work in, due to her reputation as a gay basher, and now that her sex tape is out, the far right will probably dump her. That takes away a lot of options for someone at 22.
I think the lure of publicity and money will prove very short sighted for Ms. Johnson. The shameless way Norma McCorvey has been exploited by the far right should have been a warning.
BS, let’s say, for the sake of argument, you’re right about no one ever hiring her. Guess what? Her repentance is greater than any earthly treasure and it has eternal consequences. When I read your comments trying to question people’s motives, I can’t help but feel sad for someone so desperately clinging to a whole card house of lies. You realize that when those lower cards, the shaky foundation built with “It’s not a baby!” and “Abortion helps women” are yanked out and your challenged like Abby Johnson’s story seems to have done to you, it’s all going to topple if you have a single intellectually honest bone in your body.
It’s a hard place to be. http://www.abortionno.org
your* = you’re challenged.

More empirical evidence that humans (including Human Abstracts ) are stupid.
Just one observation. When challenged by democ-RATS, John McCain, did produce evidence that he is a ‘natural born’ citizen of the United States of America as defined by the federal that was in effect at the time of his birth to American parents on U. S. military facility in Panama.
We just want B.O. to do the same thing. Release the original of his long form certificate of live birth. Wouldnt cost any more than the price of a certified letter to the registrar in Hawaii.
The ‘good news’ for you Human Abstract is that God is so awsome that he can actually fix stupid. But you got to want to be fixed.
Do not despair. HE will also provide the ‘want to’.

Human Abstract,
You should get a dictionary and look up the meaning of the term ‘allegation’.
Temporary Restraining Orders are not that difficult to obtain. The bar for the burden of proof is set prety low. But when it comes time to petition the court to make the TRO permanent, then the sledding gets a little tougher.
Unless the judge who hears the arguments is a rubber stamp for all things liberal, PP’s attorneys and spokesweasels will actualy have to present ‘evidence’ to support their ‘allegations’.
Real journalists would have already demanded to see the ‘evidence’ before they repeated PP’s allegations.
yor bro ken
Real journalists would have demanded Johnson’s evidence before they repeated her allegations. That is why she is a “Fox exclusive”.
Human Abstract, where did you hear that she provided the home addresses of other PP workers to the pro-lifers?
If she did so, that’s awesome! Take it to their doorstep, like we do here in Denver regularly! I know they do it in Indianapolis, as well. This is effective; it does work in causing PP employees to quit, over time. Even more important, repeated polls among medical students have clearly shown that young doctors and medical students are strongly dissuaded from entering the abortion field because of PEACEFUL protests at the homes of abortion doctors and other clinic workers.
Klanned Parenthood takes their mission of death directly to the neighborhoods of unsuspecting, decent American families, and bringing their child porn, sex toys for children and abortion on demand to those neighborhoods, even locating directly across the street from private homes in poor neighborhoods (as is the case here in Denver at E 38th Ave & Pontiac St, in a predominantly black neighborhood).
They bring it to our doorsteps with violence. Absolutely we should take the battle to their doorstep, peacefully! Call them to repentance, preach the gospel, and inform their neighbors about the bloody man or woman living next door to them!
BS’er
