Deathscort posers at Milwaukee abortion mill
We’ve seen this before.
And I love it.
Pro-aborts are up in arms that pro-life protesters and sidewalk counselors at Affiliated Medical Services abortion mill in Milwaukee, WI, are donning vests that look similar to those worn by deathscorts.
But all’s fair, as they say, particularly to get a few precious extra moments with an abortion intended mother.
Affiliated Medical Services is strange, even for an abortion mill. It recently took pride for being mentioned “on the official Forty Days for Life blog.” Cool!?
But like I said, pro-aborts are pretty ticked about this latest development.
Pretty ticked. See the blog post on page 2, for example…

You think he/she was mad? LOL
WOOT!! I love it too!! Especially the cross.
In between all of the f bombs I read something about “scared and vulnerable women.”
I thought they were empowered??!!
Wow, she is an excellent and accomplished wordsmith!!
In between all of the f bombs I read something about “scared and vulnerable women.”
I thought they were empowered??!!
No kidding, Carla! Guess they’re only “empowered” once they get INSIDE the clinic. That has to be it.
Too scared and too vulnerable to talk to anyone outside that might offer something other than abortion.
Completely empowered on the inside to have that abortion.
It’s magic I tell you.
Once again I am reminded of the serpent made to slither on its belly. This low being couldn’t even string a complete sentence together without groveling. I still can’t understand why they are so full of hate when they’ve got the law on their side…could it be because the evil one IS in fact full of empty promises?
Thank you always, Jil,l for continuing to dig up the important “dirt” for us all!
Great idea!
When I did sidewalk counseling I would dress exactly like the proabort escorts. Worked very well indeed.
Those soaring Shakespearean prose, albeit not in iambic pentameter, show that the pro-choicers are really pro-aborts. The only acceptable choice is death, otherwise they would welcome a mother deciding at the last minute to keep her baby at the behest of sidewalk counselors.
What blackness takes hold of a human heart so tightly as to inspire such a diatribe?
That’s pretty shameful that they have to resort to intentionally misleading women to promote their political cause. Then again, I guess people like that don’t really have much shame to begin with.
Gerry, re: “iambic pentameter”: (*laugh*)
I really do think that, if the f-bomb, the “sh**” bomb, and all crass references to parts of the male and female anatomies were removed from the vocabularies of pro-aborts, the silence would be deafening.
Joan: you’re absolutely right, and I agree with you wholeheartedly. Thank God for the pro-lifers who can help women away from the shameless manipulation of Planned Parenthood and their ilk, their shameless promotion of their political views, and their callous quest for the almighty dollar! (That is what you meant, right? :) )
(Sorry… couldn’t resist that one.)
This poster has such a way with words. Certainly such a master of the written word as this PA poster is well aware of the famous words of Renaissance poet and playwright John Lyly: “The rules of fair play do not apply in love and war”, better known as ”all’s fair in love and war”.
Carla – Iwas thinking the same thing.
Dr. Nadal – Exactly! Well said.
joan,
Are you going to have another sign next to the one about the dignity of the fetuses? Wow, you are inspiring! You go girl! (:
That’s quite a post. I think I’m’a let the First Lady respond to it. Take it away, Mrs. O!
That’s awesome!
What kind of “business” escorts you from your car to the inside and never lets you have a moment to pause? Oh, yes, cults. I’ve read that cults do that. Is PP a cult? Oh, it sure do smell like one. Abortion uber alles!
This ruse is so clever, and I’m so glad it made the proaborts literally spitting mad.
The abolitionists had no shame either, and a lot of people alive today owe them a debt of gratitude. Oscar Schindler had no shame. He dared rescue people from the clutches of death. What is it that those feminists are always saying? Shame is used to oppress women. Yep. We have no shame. :>)!
I am waiting for the day when a woman walking into the clinic tells the deathscorts to shove it so she can hear what the lifescorts have to say. No harm in listening is there?
Well harm to PP as they watch their $$$$ walk down the block to the PRC to get a free ultrasound!
Dr. Nadal! That iambic pentameter reference made laugh and also shudder with awful memories of high school English class. lol!
It was a very classy letter. No really. The f bombs just drove home the point all the more and really changed my heart. NOT!
That’s pretty shameful that they have to resort to intentionally misleading women to promote their political cause. Then again, I guess people like that don’t really have much shame to begin with.
Joan – It’s not about a political cause, it’s about saving babies from a certain death. Saving babies, one at a time. Saving mothers from a lifetime of grief and regret. Why do you think prolifers should/would be ashamed of that?
Wow a pro life group recycled d planned parenthood logo n made it l%k lyk a cross. smart.
joan,
Could you specify how women are being so misled? Some specific examples of lies these women are being told?
Oh, please, Mary, I’m not even going to dignify that with a response. You’re really asking me to explain how people wearing costumes designed to make them appear as something else are misleading? Let me flip the question and ask you what the purpose of wearing costumes designed to look like the uniforms of escorts would otherwise be? Why don’t you embrace their dishonesty the way Jill does? It’s obvious that this movement has a very strong utilitarian streak and as long as someone is doing something for the “cause” the ends generally justify the means.

Lest we forget, this same troll “joan” is the one who refused to condemn utilitarian China for its continued assault on pregnant women and their unborn children.
Joan,
I might have to go trick-or-treating wearing that pro-life costume.
Carla,
You go girl!
joan, why do you feel so threatened by these vests? After all, if a girl/woman really wants an abortion, she’s going to get one anyway, right?
Prolifers sure are an ingenious group! Awesome.
Is it “costumes” for the lifescorts but “uniforms” for the deathscorts?
Joan,
Make up your mind.

It’s obvious that this movement has a very strong utilitarian streak and as long as someone is doing something for the “cause” the ends generally justify the means.
The means are “getting someone close enough to talk to them for a few moments.” These people are not going to tie anyone up, or kidnap them, or do anything other than talk to them.
Yeah, in this case, the ends do justify the means because there’s nothing wrong with the means in question! In order for the end not to justify the means, the means have to be something that’s actually bad.
Try again.
“Is it “costumes” for the lifescorts but “uniforms” for the deathscorts?”
Obviously? This is pretty simple. The people pretending to be something they are not are impostors; thus they are wearing costumes. If I dress up as a nurse for Halloween, it’s a costume. If a nurse dresses up as a nurse for work, it’s her uniform. Make sense?
“Yeah, in this case, the ends do justify the means because there’s nothing wrong with the means in question! In order for the end not to justify the means, the means have to be something that’s actually bad.”
That’s as full-throated an endorsement of lying for the “right reasons” as I’ve ever seen. Hence the utilitarian justification.
Unless you want to explain to me why wearing these get-ups is not an act of dishonesty.
I can imagine PP telling clients to “stay away from the cross, don’t look at the cross, don’t talk or listen to the cross” with the double meaning that entails.
Joanie, Joanie, Joanie.
You make me laugh.

“Dishonesty” is sensational and an overstatement. It’s mimicry. Obviously. With the goal of getting people to think, at first glance, that the pro-lifers are clinic escorts. Any thinking person knows that. Any thinking person also knows that the second these folks start talking, the person they’re speaking to will know who they are and what they’re doing. It’s not a lie when the first thing you do is tell the truth about yourself. The only possible reason to object to this is that some women are going to hear what the pro-lifers have to say, rather than being prevented from hearing it by the deathscorts. That is the only objection anyone could have to it.
Look, we already know you’re okay with coerced abortions, so even if this were wrong (which, by the way, it’s not), I’m not sure why you think you have some sort of moral high ground. Honestly, moral outrage from you is just funny at this point.
I bet they volunteer at Planned Parenthood on the weekends as well.
An abortion mill is sort of admitting that nobody would WILLINGLY partake of their “services” if a chance encounter with a stranger outside is enough to lose them a sale.
That said, I don’t approve of deliberate deception. It’s stooping to their level to try to look like something you’re not.
T-shirts that say “We offer hope. Are you interested?” might be a better approach. Because pretty much every woman walking in there knows, as do the deathscorts, that abortion is an act of despair.
Good for them! I hope their efforts are successful, that they can save lives and help at least some of the women going into the “clinic”. I’m loving the – ahem – eloquent post from the pro-abort. Typical. And amusing in a pathetic sort of way.
Austin,
That video cracked me up.
In the case of abortion, the means justify the ends? If a person means to escape the responsibilities of parenthood, they could just as well choose adoption. But since more than 120 abortions are committed for every 1 adoption referral, I’d say that PP believes and acts on the belief that the means justify the ends.
Abortion is murder. Murder is wrong. 2 + 2 = 4. Life and parenthood begin at conception.
Yes, the profane letter is pretty much of the sort and type of things shouted at us when we pray at “banned parenthood”. Not a very enlightened use of vocabulary at all. And no dialogue~! Just rude shouts, generally accompanied by gestures which is a pointing of a finger to heaven but it is not the thumb.
Ninek: 2+2 may equal 4, but abortion is not murder. Murder is a crime defined by statute, and the law does not consider abortion an illegal act under most circumstances, let alone an act of murder.
But that’s not the question. The question is whether there’s anything innately wrong with using an immoral act (such as a deception or an outright lie) in order to accomplish what one considers to be a moral result. To say that it’s permissible to do so is, in fact, to argue that the end justifies the means. Once you’ve made that concession it’s simply a matter of time before the “means” deteriorate to those of Kopf, Hill and Roeder.
I personally love it – and the cross made from their logo is a reminder not only of the saving power of Christ and the cross – but that old things can be made new – like Saul to Paul. Planned Parenthood, with a huge conversion, can turn barren-ness and sin into conversion, fruitfulness and faithfulness.
With God’s grace all is possible.
And to answer the nay-sayers on the vests – nowhere did their vests say planned parenthood – they just said parenthood volunteer – which is entirely accurate.
If they said planned parenthood escort – then that would be false. Nothing false on the vest – just the truth using the same design as their color and logo.
Just the truth in similar packaging – but the truth non-the-less. They are protecting parenthood and representing the cross… no lie there.
And Paterfamilias – you are not trying to equate lying or falsehood with purposefully ending a human life, are you? Just because the state does not call abortion murder, does not mean it is not. You know that by biology, a human life is ended with abortion – even though it’s legal and not called murder by the state.
lying and ending a human life are two different situations morally. I hope you were just typing fast…
If someone doesn’t want to be a parent, is alright to perform an immoral act, abortion, to escape one’s responsibilities? No.
Abortion = murder. Roe v Wade legalized child killing.
paterfamilias,
In the 1930’s the German people amended their constitution to state that Hitler’s word would henceforth be law. It was on that basis that, under positive law, the SS and Wermacht claimed that they were only following their legal orders under German Law.
However, the civilized nations of the world gathered at Nuremberg and Tokyo and determined that God-given Natural Moral Law supersedes all manmade (positive) law. Positive law can never trump natural law, and that is the governing principle of the World Court today.
It was on this basis that the war criminals were tried for crimes against humanity and convicted, and many hanged for their deeds. Murder is murder, despite what a despotic regime may declare to the contrary. The same holds true for the tyranny of abortion. The act cannot be defined away by defining tyranny down. Under this despotism there need not be capital punishment (which I oppose), but life without parole for the abortionist once the law is changed to reflect the reality of the action under the same natural law that prevailed 65 years ago.
What is so funny about comments like Pater’s is that they can often name the criminals who committed murder of adults. But can you name the millions of children who are dead because of abortion? No, you cannot. No one should commit murder to further a cause, however, abortionists commit murder every day. And they don’t do it for a cause, however misguided that would even be. Abortionists murder for money.
Those vests did save lives. They also confused the police, who started treating us like “real people” because they never read the inscription on the front. The mill workers came out spitting mad on the Thursday we rolled them out. In fact, I’ve never seen some of them get this animated at us. They worked so well, that some of our own prayer vigilers were wondering why the ‘deathscorts’ were carrying rosaries and looked like they were praying!
Say a prayer for the young woman who was taken away in an ambulance this last Saturday at 1pm to a nearby hospital from this abortion mill. They picked her up in the back alley, sirens off with the police right behind them to “ice” the vigilers that remained.
paterfamilias,
Let’s be very clear on the action that is taking place…an innocent child is being killed/destroyed/snuffed out/aborted….if not murder…what do you call this?
In regards to a just law…no one has a right to kill an innocent person, and that is exactly what is happening.
