- The San Francisco Chronicle has another story on Planned Parenthood’s efforts to take back its share of San Francisco’s abortion business from its former affiliate:
The phones started ringing Tuesday at San Francisco’s PP clinic for the first time since early September….
Neither the San Francisco nor the Santa Rosa PP clinics offer abortion services now, but both centers expect to start performing abortions sometime next month….
… Shasta Pacific’s primary goal is to get full-service PP clinics in all of the 4 new counties it serves. In addition to the San Francisco and Santa Rosa sites, PP is set to open a clinic next month in Mill Valley and is scouting for sites in Ukiah in Mendocino County.
- Thousands of people attended Washington State’s annual March for Life.
- A pharmacist in NY State recently pled guilty to a violation of the Abortion Control Act after he applied misoprostol to a woman who was pregnant with his child. One of my blog posts from April notes he did this after the woman canceled an abortion appointment. He slipped her the drugs on her birthday without her knowledge. Oddly, the woman went on to marry him:
In the Tercero case, the mother of the unborn child later married the Defendant, Orbin Tercero [pictured left]. She advised us that she no longer wished to cooperate with the prosecution and wanted it terminated. She could be compelled to testify or the Commonwealth could use her prior testimony, but her attitude might have an impact on the case.

How long do you think that marriage will last? :(

Ugh, I was thinking the same thing, MaryRose. I wouldn’t associate with, much less marry, anyone who tried to “slip me” anything without my knowledge. :(

It makes me honestly sad, len. Something about this woman is screaming out, and marrying the man who forced her to abort is not going to solve her problems. :(

Quoting from the article about the pharmacist “Under the Crimes Code chapter covering Crimes Against Unborn Child, causing the death of an unborn child is a criminal homicide but there is no liability under that chapter for acts committed with the consent or cooperation of the pregnant woman.”
That is messed up. It’s criminal to kill an unborn baby unless the mother cooperates, then it’s not a crime. Pro-Abortioners must be exhausted from the mental gymnastics they must perform in order to justify it. Either it is a crime or it isn’t. Choose one or the other. I choose life.

WHY would you want to marry the person who tried to murder your child??? Seems that BOTH of these people are “messed up”….I feel sorry for the poor BABY. :(

Pamela, recent experience with a close acquaintance has given me a little bit of insight into this sort of thing. Sometimes when certain people are told repeatedly that they aren’t good enough, they make it a kind of personal mission to achieve that one person’s approval, even if it is at the expense of all the healthy relationships in their life. I can’t say with certainty that this is the case in Tercero’s case, but I would guess that it is likely.
I know someone who moved away from her entire life, completely disregarding the warnings, pleading, and arguments of all close family and friends, to live near a guy who had abused and even forced himself upon her. She is only recently seeming to come back to reality, and we hope & pray for the best. She is an otherwise incredibly intelligent young woman with a bright future and a very happy and secure childhood.
