- A young Scottish woman was killed after her 15-year-old boyfriend found out she aborted his child.
- Pro-choice researchers are attempting to understand and limit abortion stigma.
- An Ohio couple has been indicted on charges of kidnapping after allegedly taking a teenage girl, keeping her hostage, getting her pregnant and then taking her to Detroit for an abortion.
- The Aid for Women abortion clinic in Kansas City is suing in an attempt to block new abortion clinics. They want to join the lawsuit filed on behalf of abortionist Herbert Hodes. Aid for Women was denied a license based on their application.
- Presidential candidate Congresswoman Michele Bachmann recently discussed suffering a miscarriage when discussing her pro-life views:
… [I]t was devastating for both of us, as you can imagine if any of you have lost a child…. When we lost that child, it changed us. And it changed us forever….
So we made a commitment that no matter how many children were brought into our life, we’d receive them because we’re committed to life….
And we didn’t know at that time we’d be foster parents, and that one day we’d be parents of 28 children, but we are extremely grateful for that opportunity because you can get money wrong, but you can’t get life wrong. And I am committed to life.
- Lila Rose has an editorial regarding her group’s recent calls to Planned Parenthood clinics in Indiana:PP claims that defunding their group in Indiana will “take away health care from thousands of women in Indiana, leaving them at greater risk for undetected cancers, untreated infections and unintended pregnancies.”
But PP employees tell a different story…. [O]ur group’s undercover investigators called 16 of the 28 Indiana PP clinics posing as women who use Medicaid to pay for medical bills. They asked questions about where to obtain care and voiced concerns that the medical facilities be close by and must accept Medicaid.
In direct contrast to what PP has claimed, every single one of its own employees were quick to refer women to an abundance of other facilities, admitting they easily could access care elsewhere at another facility where Medicaid was accepted.

“And we didn’t know at that time we’d be foster parents, and that one day we’d be parents of 28 children”
As has often been said, God does not call the prepared, He prepares the called.
I could save the researchers a lot of time: people feel guilty when they harm innocent, non-threatening human beings. Abortion stigma is merely a sign that society is not full of sociopaths.
I agree, Kelsey. I am reminded of Jill’s post a while back where she put up that video of a woman wearing a pink blouse with red hair. She kept saying in a soft voice, “you are a good woman” for having an abortion.
(Previous comment was for ninek)
@Kelsey: No kidding. Even among the long list of dumb/blindingly obvious research topics that actually got funded, this example strikes me as particularly ridiculous.
Alice, I didn’t even consider that this study is getting funded. Oh, lookie, those are public universities. So, so, SO glad I moved from California. So glad.
Sure, they’ve only got a 10.6 BILLION DOLLAR DEFICIT. They can afford it, right? Can someone who votes for liberals yet is pro-life please explain this to me? How can people still vote for them when this is what they are doing with public funds?
I just posted a nice thread about two of your pro-life heroes, Lila Rose and Laura Ingraham. I’m sure you’ll find it interesting and informative.
Love,

Hi Priscilla,
Your article mentions the 3% statistic. What if PP provided totally free health care of every kind to all takers – what if they were saving millions of men, women and children every year – what if they found the cure for cancer and solved world hunger – but once per week, they took a random toddler into the street in front of one of their clinics and chopped their head off – would that be OK with you? Would you see them as “good folks” because of all the good things they did? Or would you see them as the cold-blooded killers that they are, despite the rest of what they did? In other words, does a certain percentage of good that an organization does out-way a certain percentage of bad that the organization does?
Thanks for the info, “Priscilla.” I mean, “Emma Goldman.” I mean, “Tina.” I mean, “Lori.” I mean, “Jenna.”
I’m sure it will be as honest and straightforward as you have been with your multiple identities on this site.
What is it with the pro-aborts who come here? Is it really that hard to decide on one persona? :P
Come on, let’s be honest here. Does anyone REALLY and truly and seriously believe Planned Parenthood divvies up the money and say “Okay, this amount was all from abortions and this is this service, and that is this one, and this is, whatever…” ? Do we honestly believe that they’ve marked each and every piece of money that comes through their doors according to the specific purpose it was going towards?
And I agree with Bobby Bambino (LOL I was thinking of the nicknames my mother used to call us and “Bobby Bandito” came to mind, okay back on topic): Whether it’s 3, 2, 1–any percent is too high. We can’t learn to be a better society and better people if we’re advocating and allowing the INTENTIONAL (because induced abortions are intentional) killing of pre-born human beings.
And I personally doubt the actual numbers are only 3 percent. I wouldn’t be at all surprised if the numbers are higher than 3 percent.
FactCheck.org says 1 of every 10 patients at PP is there for an abortion.
The 3% of services number comes directly from Planned Parenthood. As Jill said before, if a woman goes for an abortion, she will likely get STD testing, abortion, birth control, and other tests while she is there. These are each counted as a service, when in reality, there is ONE patient, and she had an abortion there.
