STD causes most cervical, vaginal cancers
HPV Types 6 and 11 cause about 90% of genital warts cases in females and males.
HPV Types 16 and 18 cause about 75% of cervical cancer cases in females.
HPV Types 16 and 18 also cause about 70% of vaginal cancer cases and up to 50% of vulvar cancer cases in females.

I wonder what percentage of cervical adenocarcinoma cases is caused by these HPV types. This type of cervical cancer doesn’t show up in a pap smear.
71 deaths and *countless injured*…there have been reports worldwide of the tragic effects of this vaccine.
Robert, can you explain what you mean by “This type of cervical cancer doesn’t show up in a pap smear.” My understanding is that virtually ALL cervical cancer cases are caused by these high-risk, sexually transmitted HPV strains, and that the resulting cancer is what is picked up by pap smears. The HPV virus itself is not picked up by pap smears, but the cancer is. Please explain.
The most common type of cervical cancer is known as squamous cell carcinoma, which a Pap smear does detect. Adenocarinoma is less common, but is not detected so readily.
Robert, thanks. Do you have a link to something that explains adenocarinoma?
Wikipedia should be going back up tonight. That should help.
