Video premiere: “Just Another Birthday” by Casting Crowns
The Grammy and Dove Award-winning Christian band Casting Crowns has just released the music video of “Just Another Birthday” from its new album, “Come to the Well.”
“Just Another Birthday” has many touching messages (spoiler alert): the importance of a father in a girl’s life, that she may seek love and acceptance in the wrong places if not getting it from her daddy, that abortion is not the answer, that “crisis” babies bring joy and healing, and that Jesus can fill the holes in any heart…

Yay, another pro-life artist! But Casting Crowns, like you said, is usually a man that sings. i like that a woman sings now instead. It’s beautiful!
Pro-life songs like this, “Lucy” and others tend not to chart really well, if even at all. And Courageous is still going strong at #6 on the CHR charts. It will take a while before “Just Another Birthday” gets radio airplay, if it even happens. But it has more of a chance, since not all the song is about abortion. :)

Though the video shows how important our earthly fathers are, it also shows how important the heavenly Father is.
I like this video. It showed how choices affect our lives. How they (choices) reach down to these entirely private moments when you are left to your own wits especially when you don’t have faith. It shows how critical faith is and how mysteriously it works and how supportive it can be. But I am sure many Pro-Choice people don’t think (I hesitate to use the word believe) that Pro-Life people have these moments of personal pain or that they can relate to the angst that secularists experience.
What a powerful art form music videos are! It’s fine with me that MTV and VH1 have mostly abandoned them. I much prefer the messages from Country and Christian artists anyway!
