Abortion clinic sign: “Use deadly force only if necessary”

On January 28 pro-lifers gathered to pray at the New Woman All Women abortion mill in Birmingham, Alabama, one week after there had been two botched abortions committed in the span of 30 minutes there.

During that week the clinic, apparently stressed for business, had prepared a huge “Call for Abortions” sign, which you’ll see in the following little video clip.

Apparently angry about all the pro-life attention to their botches the week before, the clinic had also prepared another more ominous sign, photo above. You’ll also it in the video to the left of and a little behind the larger one. Warning: vulgarity…

According to Fr. Terry Gensemer, the man reaching out to the deathscorts in the video, pro-lifers rightfully considered the sign provocative and and threatening and are consulting with a pro-life legal organization about their options.

  1. Armed with prayers only … but deadly force is used with every abortion which is not necessary … sad, so sad.

  3. “armed and dangerous” “may shoot to kill you at any time”….
AHEM!   Ladies (and I use the term loosely)…the  ‘dangerous weapons’ used to kill are INSIDE the clinic…
    in YOUR hands!

  4. Excuse me, but if there are people who are “armed and dangerous”, and will “shoot to kill”, shouldn’t the police be immediately notified?
Certainly these deathscorts have a civic duty to immediately notify police when they see people armed with guns. Also, who in their right mind would be standing around in the line of fire carrying signs?

  5. Their stupid sign is blocking access to the entrance. I call that a FACE violation!

  6. Wow, what blathering stupidity. How many times in the history of EVER has a proclaimed ‘pro-life’ or ‘anti-abortionist’ killed a *pregnant woman*?? I’m sure if you plowed through police reports long enough you might be able to find one where a proclaimed anti-abortionist held a pregnant woman against her will to keep her from getting an abortion, and there have been the ultra rare but highly publicized murders of abortionists…but to kill a pregnant woman? That’s about as believable as…you know what I can’t even come up with a comparision it’s so outlandish, the Pope proclaiming papal infalibility heretical perhaps.

  7. We should all thank this woman who believes in abortion. She has put a face to the proabortion movement. Godless, vulgur, crass, cruel, and murderous. We could not have asked for a better example of the true face of the baby killers. If you live your life as if there is no God, you had better be right.

  8. This sign and the attitudes of the proaborts are unfortunately becoming more desperate as they see their side losing ground.   We see a great deal of anger and hostility directed towards prolifers from hardened proaborts.

Most often these behavoirs come from people who have been involved in some way with an abortion–either personally or assisting others. We have linked videos of these situations from time to time here.

The underlying reality is that involvement in the procuring of an abortion seems to bring out the worse in people.  We in the prolife movement are not surprised because when it comes to justifiying the taking of innocent human life–if someone can do that then anything else is possible.

  9. Sure, sure. We already know the pro-aborts love their straw men.

“Pay no attention to the back of our clinic where unconscious patients are being carried out by their arms and legs. Look at the bulge in that pro-lifer’s pocket! Is that a GUN?”

  10. I understand that the owner of this mill, one Diane Derzis, was photographed walking freely through the crowd at the annual March for Life held the week before 2 women suffered botched abortions at her hellhole, which I also understand is a National Abortion Federation member “clinic”. I doubt whether she was wearing a bullet-proof vest; in 1996, Operation Save America held it’s first National event in Birmingham. Lady MacDeath Derzis herself was trying to play this same “Ah’m so scared of those terrorists” card to the media and police, while standing out on the sidewalk amid dozens of alleged “terrorists”, chatting it up with Flip Benham who was, as usual, armed to the teeth..with his Bible.  And no bullet proof vest then, either. It’s the sword of truth that terrifies these folks; and when the spotlight is turned on their own terrorism, violence, cruelty and bullying (one of their goons loves to spout that word at local prolifers, like she’s a two year old who just learned the word, and loves hearing herself say it…though she really doesn’t understand what it means, or she’d at least face the mill when repeating it as loudly as she can ad nauseam), they try desperately to deflect it off of themselves and project it onto the ones who have merely witnessed and exposed their game for what it is; not healthcare, but reckless endangerment of women in crisis. 39 years after Roe v. Wade, and nothing has changed: Pregnancy is still not a disease, but a normal function of a healthy reproductive system; and induced abortion still does not treat, cure, or prevent any medically recognized ailment.

May her mill be closed permanently, and soon, because of the botched abortions and the shoddy conditions; and may she and her signholders be held accountable for their slander of Birmingham’s sidewalk counselors, who have been faithfully, lovingly, and nonviolently confronting her for decades about her own violence towards the unborn…and their mothers. And may she finally make peace with the God who created each life she has destroyed (and they are legion), whether in or ex utero, and either retire or find legitimate work.

  11. “God approves of abortions?
Huh. Guess that negates that whole 10 commandment thing.”

Go ask your Episcopalian priest neighbor about their church’s position on abortion. Oh, right. It’s an apostate church, right?

“armed and dangerous” “may shoot to kill you at any time

Given that a number of abortion providers have been assassinated it’s not beyond the realm of possibilities.  Not that you care, as you invariable say that one death is nothing compared to the “babies” that they “murdered.” (which of course makes women the murderers – oh, right, women are never able to make their own decisions cuz they’re just like little kids and are so easy to coerce). Recently, one of your Wisconsin “counselors” was arrested on his way to shoot up some abortion clinics.  And BTW, the street theater outside clinics in not counseling but harassment.

And about the “botched” abortions – Without seeing the medical charts, how did you medical experts come to that conclusion? Oh, right. It’s sounds good and fits the propaganda needs.

  12. Yes, CC, he is in error. Absolutely. I have told him this.
But he has THE cutest golden retriever, and our boys play together, and his wife and I used to have a radio show called The 80s Ladies. Great love for that family. (especially the dog).

  13. “Given that a number of abortion providers have been assassinated…”

Hmmmmm. It’s ironic, but I can’t help wondering how many of the 50 million+ human beings with potential killed by “safe & legal abortion” would have, had they lived, become perhaps abortionists…or taxi drivers, repo men, nurses who  don’t work in abortion mills, police officers, convenience store clerks (many more of them have been killed in the last 39 years than abortionists; but their slayings somehow don’t nearly the publicity). Or, for that matter, how many would have become artists, singers, writers, teachers, real doctors, lawyers, judges, physicists, CRNAs, nurses, Physical therapists, speech therapists, psychologists, teachers, auto mechanics, paramedics, couriers/truckers, bus drivers, pilots, food servers, chefs, receptionists, secretaries, administrative assistants, actors/actresses, guitarists, violinists, pianists, etc…. entrepreneurs, bankers, butchers, bakers, candlestick makers…yes, there’d be some beggarmen and some thieves and other criminals in the mix.

I think there’s actually a way to get an estimate: Several years ago, the body count (of aborted babies; this did not include the women killed) was equal to the population of some 17 states (at the time) combined; I expect it’s gone up a state or 3 since then, depending on the population of the states. Anyway,  perhaps if you simply analyzed how many residents of those states actually were all of the things listed above, you’d get a fair idea. That’s the thing. All of those people were once unborn children, which should not be a capital offense in and of itself; and those who say it should are guilty of it themselves, so who are they to say they shouldn’t be executed themselves? Judge not lest the same judgement you mete out to others falls on you. The borts’ favorite verse; if only they actually understood what Jesus meant by it.

ABORTION MEANS NO JUDGE, NO JURY, NO TRIAL…AND NO STAY OF EXECUTION.

Ambulance =/=propaganda. Sorry, your straw man was dashed by the stark reality of maimed and bleeding girls hauled out by EMTs through the back alley (oh the irony).

  15. CC, thanks for standing up to these bullies.  These “peaceful street councellors” are very violent.  They will come to your car, chase you down the sidewalk, take whatever steps they deem necessary to stop you from entering the clinic.  The people coming to this place are already having the worst day of their lives, and these people threaten them with bodily harm, call them muderers, etc.  The scene shown in the video would not occur if these “peaceful street councellors” had not harrassed a 14 year old rape victum.  Does anyone here think a 14 year old is capable of supporting a baby?

And you are absolutely right about the patients.  You cannot make any kind of determination about the status of a patient without seeing their medical charts.  Jill wrote the determination of their condition was made after showing the pictures to a “Nurse”.  I don’t beleive nurses are qualified to diagnose the status of patients.

The “God approves abortions.”  Well I guess that depends on how literal you take the bible.  God was pretty clear when he said “Blessed is he that bashes the babies head upon the rocks” Psalms 128.  Is that what he really meant to say?  I guess you guys will have your own interpretations on that one.  How does that fit with the 10 commandments?

  17. Hmmmm….I seem to remember a condition in human psychology called “Projection Bias”.

    accdg to Wikipedia:

Psychological projection or projection bias is a psychological defense mechanism where a person subconsciously denies his or her own attributes, thoughts, and emotions, which are then ascribed to the outside world, usually to other people. Thus, projection involves imagining or projecting the belief that others originate those feelings.[1]

    ..yep…sounds about right….
