Susan Sarandon: Anti-death penalty for criminals, pro-death penalty for preborn children
Sarandon has never shied away from using her celebrity to spotlight causes that include abortion rights, repealing the death penalty and opposing the Iraq War.

Yep, be against a war on a dangerous tyrant and show mercy to the soldiers in the War of Crime on the innocent. Arguable.
But then be an all-out soldier in the War on Children, unconcerned about the mothers who are collateral damage.
She’s batting .000 in human rights causes.

How do they not see the disconnect??

I clicked on the link for the article, but a message showed saying it couldn’t be found :( I was a Susan Sarandon fan until last summer (Adam Sandler was in my city filming a movie that is supposed to include Susan Sarandon)…then when I heard she was pro-abortion (I assume that is what the link above was going to say…) I decided not to watch her movies anymore.

Thanks for the heads up on the link, Terri. Fixed!

She has abortion guilt from her own abortion. Of course she has to push it for other women…to make herself feel better about what she did. She fights the death penalty to convince herself she really IS a good, compassionate person who respects human life.

I will never understand the concept of feeling sorry for criminals but killing babies.

I rarely go to movies because 95 percent of Hollywood is pro-abortion. I want to see “October Baby” but its playing a theater far from my home and I don’t have a car.
As for television — i don’t have one anymore, and I really don’t miss it.

Neither she or her cohorts had anything negative to say when their liberal president gave the go ahead to take Bin Laden out-these same folks who cried foul when the Bush administration caught Hussein hiding in his spider hole and took him into custody to be tried. These are the same morons who will weep alligator tears outside a prison when a condemned woman and child killer is slated for execution, then march for the right to kill unborn human beings in the womb as if it’s time to launch a military offensive against the foreign invaders. Wack. Then again, these folks make their living pretending to be others, so we shouldn’t expect too much to begin with, eh?

I’ll never understand Hollywood.

I love me some Rocky Horror, so when young I thought she was cool. Then a few years into her career, she was on a late night talk show to promote a movie. The host asked her about playing Janet. She shot him a withering look then proceeded to pretend Janet never happened. I was pretty irked. But I was more irked when she nabbed Tim Robbins. Tim! What about me? LOL! He was so cute when he was younger. Ok, he’s still easy on the eyes and ears…

While preparing to make a joke insinuating that Susan Sarandon was actually Tim Robbins’ grandmother, I came across this article:

It would appear Mr. Sarandon lacks motherly instincts because she comes from a long line of mothers who lacked motherly instincts. When you look at it, it’s quite tragic. I don’t see how she gets “Support abortion!” out of her family’s history-it seems to me the world would be Susan Sarandon-less had ready access to legal abortion been the norm in her ancestors’ days.

If anything, I’d say I’d arise to the cause of being a child advocate, since it seems the problem with her family line was little girls being raped (whether they knew it or felt like they were or not) by men. Abortion is not a fix for that. Getting rid of child predators is.

The article about her is about how she maintains looking young at 65 yrs. old. It has nothing to do with pro-life. I’m confused as to why this article is even mentioned on this blog…besides the fact that she is pro-choice, which is not mentioned in the above link.

Dear Mr. Sarandon:
Stop flattering yourself. I don’t find you desirable and never have. You’re no role model or inspiration for anyone,.. and for God’s sake stop trying to be like Jane Fonda.
