Planned Parenthood holds rally in Catholic Church historical landmark
Of all the places in all the towns, in all the world, Planned Parenthood chose a Catholic church historical landmark in which to hold a rally on October 2.
St. Cajetans Church, a Spanish Colonial structure built in 1925, is now owned and a part of the Auraria college campus in Denver.
St. Cajetans is listed on the National Register of Historic Places and no longer houses a parish. Auraria now uses it as a “multi-purpose auditorium for lectures, concerts, recitals and other community events,” according to Wiki.
Nevertheless, there are many venues Planned Parenthood could have chosen for its event. It is no coincidence that it picked a Catholic landmark.
Pro-life activists picketed the event while abortion proponents touted their wares.

This is yet another echo of an “abomination that desolates”, like when Antiochus Epiphanes sacrificed a pig in the Temple in Jerusalem.
Why do we demand all unicorns and rainbows when we constantly poke our finger in the Eye of God?
Where is the rector and/or bishop of this church/diocese???
This is not a Catholic Church. It is a historical landmark that used to be a Catholic Church. The building was sold or given to the university for the university’s use and preservation… and so, there is nothing the local bishop can do to prevent this.
We can be sure that PP looked for a location that would be shocking and insulting to Catholics. Catholics are the largest identifiable enemy of PP, and they know it.
PP considers themselves as a kind of anti-religion. How else could they continually mock God in their destruction of the innocents if they did not see themselves as an alternative to Churches that regard life as sacred? They delight in the shock value of things, especially when it comes to things Catholic.
Catholic women get 28% of the abortions in the U.S. What’s the problem?
Yes Perry, Catholic women make mistakes and sin just like anyone else but that does not change the teaching of the church nor does it change the mercy and forgiveness of God the church offers them.
I don’t have an ‘edifice lex’ complex. A building is a building whether it’s used to shelter the faithful or the faithless.
If you think GOD places much value on ‘sticks and stones’, go search for the remains of Soloman’s temple. The structure and location where GOD said HIS presence would be.
Jesus told his followers not one stone would be left standing of ‘Herods’ temple . When an invading army destroyed it 70 years later the devastation was so complete the site became a plowed field.
The only remains of Soloman’s temple are the foundation stones.
Having considered all that, when I read of PP’s choice of meeting place the first thing that came to mind was sacrificing a swine on the altar of GOD and the Maccabees. [Read ‘My Glorious Brothers’ by Howard Fast to get the picture.]
I don’t believe the ’dead babies r us’ mob made a conscious decision to utilize this facility because of it historic significance. I believe it happened because it is in their spiritual DNA to do what their father does and he is by definition a ‘defiler’.
The sufficiency of GOD’s grace is not strained.”
