Ted Nugent: “Abortion, not guns, eliminating inner-city population”
The purpose of kicking little Billy out of school for drawing a picture of a gun or wearing a pro-gun t-shirt or eating a locked and loaded pop-tart is to simply vilify guns, or in the words of Eric “Fast & Furious” Holder, to “brainwash” Americans against the Second Amendment….
Of course, if a kid showed up wearing a shirt with a picture of the president’s mug on it and the words “Like President Obama, I support abortion,” that would be just fine as that message fits the “fundamental transformation” agenda even though abortion, not guns, is what’s eliminating the inner-city population.
The facts, however interesting, are irrelevant when they get in the way of a leftist agenda.

That guy still gives me the creeps. Sorry.

At least he is standing up for the unborn and protecting our constitution. Good for him!

Ted is a rare individual. I can’t think of anyone like him who’s emerged from the stereotypical rock n roll lifestyle to take a stand on the right side for some of these controversial issues. I continually find myself amazed when what comes out of his mouth is insightful and poignant
Good for him indeed.

Don’t care for Ted Nugent’s music but I love Ted Nugent. He is sarcastic and constitutional. What an awesome combination!

Yeah, he’s pretty awful. Just generally unpleasant. At least he’s anti-abortion though.

“Generally unpleasant”….lol. Jack, I could say that about most of the people I have to deal with on a daily basis.

I’ve always wondered what would happen if a group of highschoolers wore tshirts with aborted babies?

Lol. I’m just of the opinion that all celebrities should act like Mr Rogers. And Mr Nugent has repetitive music that annoys me. :p

Repetitive music? OMG, Sheryl Crow’s lyrics and music are so mind-numbingly repetitive she makes Nugent seem like Mozart. And Ted’s from back in ‘my day.’ As in,
In my day, your phone was attached to the wall. And Ted Nugent released records. that were vinyl. And you had to walk uphill, both ways. LOL!

to get to the hi-fi stereo, you had to walk uphill, in the snow, both ways!

When did our Jack turn into a “stick-in-the-mud” old curmugeon? Oh yeah, I guess parenthood eventually does that to you. :)
Meanwhile ninek and I will turn up the stereo and you can say, “Kids these days!” :)

Lol Hans, don’t worry I still listen to old school punk and metal (which makes my complaints about Nugent stupid, because there are literally no other genres of music as repetitive as punk and metal). It’s just you old people and your annoying rock. ;)
I do agree that vinyl sounds much better. When my dad dies I’m totally taking his player from my mom and sisters.

And Mr Rogers is the best person ever of all time.

I always liked Mr. Rogers. I wish he was on a decade earlier when he could really be “my neighbor”.
Nugent really bugs the Left. They live by stereotypes. No conservative can be female, a minority, or a rocker. They think “Diversity” is their own private brand.

Ted hit the sweet spot with that sound bite. It was an uncontested ‘ace’.
The born alive act is essentially an additional burden on the obama’s decision not to be pained by his own grandbaby.
Cannot wait for jury to annouce the mulitple guilty verdicts so that the obamateur will have no excuse for not commenting on his martyred soul mate, Kermit Gossnell.
It takes a family to raise child.
It takes a whole village of progressive humanists to squeeze out an idiot of mr. bo-jangles calibre.
That explains the flies that show up when ever the dung god’s spawn makes an appearance.

While certainly Ted Nugent has the right to his opinions, I find very few of his opinions grounded in anything other than schizophrenic delusions.
I think if he loved people half as much as he loved guns, he’s be a pretty good role model. As it is, I think his love of guns and conservative ideals is a little crazy – like he needs to make a golden gun idol with an elephant, put it in his yard, and pray to it daily. Maybe he does.

Is this the same Ted Nugent who on April 12th 2012 said ”If Barack Obama becomes the president in November, again, I will be either be dead or in jail by this time next year.”?
The one who said folks on welfare shouldn’t be entitled to vote?
The one who previously claimed he dodged the draft by making himself disgusting?
That Ted Nugent?

” The one who previously claimed he dodged the draft by making himself disgusting?”
Lulz I forgot about that. But to be fair, according to Snopes they couldn’t confirm that interview was legit. On his deferment papers he got a student deferment and one for the physical examination as well (I am not sure if deferment is the right word so bear with me). So it’s not completely known exactly why he didn’t go to war. But yeah, if he wants to whine about being a patriot he really shouldn’t have enrolled in community college to escape the draft. :)

Wow ex i put down Ashley Judd and you call Ted a schizophrenic? Pot calling the kettle black much? Why ? Cuz he didn’t see things from your POV? BTW a story about Judd being in a mental hospital . Perhaps she’s a schizophrenic herself ????

I never cared much for Nugent’s music, but I admire the fact that he has not allowed people to squeeze him into their mold. He dares to be different and to try to make a stand for what is right, so good for him.

I’m sorry but does anyone else find the idea of kids wearing shirts with guns on them to school problematic? Or a kid drawing pictures of guns at school? Did anyone actually read his comment?
I wonder would Mr Nugent would feel if a group of Muslim students starting wearing pictures of guns on their shirts to school and were habitually drawing weapons in class. Something tells me he wouldn’t be applauding their brave stand against ‘second admendment hating liberals’

To the last part, no I don’t always read his comments.
To the first comment, idk my son draws pictures of swords because he likes stories about medieval fantasy and such (totally his dad’s fault). Is that any different? I don’t think it’s the hugest deal. Kids like cops and robbers, play wild west, that sort of thing. You honestly think some six year old or whatever is drawing a gun because he’s a budding gang member or something?

No, it’s the left that’s more likely to worship golden idols. If only we had a Moses to toss the stone tablets on their heads.

Yeah, that was them making a statement about how Wall Street/big companies worship money like an idol. That’s what the article says at least. It’s interpretive dance, if you will.

Jack–I think that’s AWESOME! There used to be these books out…I can’t remember the author’s name, but one was called “Castle”, and there was “Cathedral” and they talked about how they were built. There was also movies talking about them. Wish I could remember the author’s name!

Jack,
Okay I found out the author’s name…
David Macaulay and there was a PBS series on his work: http://www.amazon.com/Castle-Home-Video-David-Macaulay/dp/B000EOTEJK/ref=sr_1_20?s=movies-tv&ie=UTF8&qid=1367990299&sr=1-20&keywords=castle

My kid (and me, lol) would probably love that. I’ll have to see if I can get hold of it. Thanks MiT. He’s getting bored with my made up stories about dragons and he’s way too young for Game of Thrones lol.

Kids should be able to draw guns, or cars, or animals, or houses. Gosh! Maybe if Muslim kids got to a range and shot real guns under proper and lawful adult supervision… they’d like America and the second amendment. Ya never know. We enjoyed shooting cans when we were young. Influence can go both ways.

Now lets see here, photographs of murdered babies and a 9 year olds hand drawn picture of a firearm.
Which one is more alarming, more shocking to the sensibilities of a 9 year old child or a 21 year old adult?
I have a friend who would not allow her adolescent son to play with toy guns until she saw him chew his peanut butter and jelly sandwich into the shape of a pistol.
Today, that would get him suspended from a government school and a quick trip to a state authorized team of social workers, counselors, psychiatrists and pharmacists.
I grew up watching ‘The Rifleman’ shooting and killing 1.23 people per 1/2 hour show and tho I have owned several firearms for mulitple decades the only two things I have ever killed with them is a feral cat and a bird.
I regret killling the bird. I regret waiting too long to kill the cat. He ended up attacking my young daughter. Killing him was still not easy to do, but I have no regrets.
I like to fish and when I am forturnate to land a fish, I practice ‘catch and release’. Occasionally a fish swallows the bait and there is no way to remove it without fatally wounding the fish. That bothers me a bit. But I know the fish will not go to waste. Something else will eat it to survive.
If Kermit Gossnell is convicted of first degree murder and sentenced to death I would volunteer to be a member of the firing squad.
He is less to me than the feral cat.
Animals kill out of instinct.
Gossnell is a calculating homicidal psychopath.
There are some men, and women, who just need killin.
Gossnell is one of them.
Praise the LORD and pass enough ammunition to fullly load my high capacity magazine.
