Pro-abortion Pelosi invokes Baby Jesus for illegal immigrants
by Carder
Those who have read “The Word,” know that Jesus was not a refugee, never did anything illegal, and, more importantly, is God. Mary, an unwed teenager (whom Pelosi most likely would have encouraged to abort Baby Jesus) was returning to Bethlehem with her betrothed Joseph for a census. There was no violence; just no room in the inn.
Moses was one of few boys who lived when the King of Egypt ordered all newborn boys be killed to reduce the Hebrew population.
In fact, both Baby Jesus and Moses would not exist in America today if the infanticide policies Pelosi and President Obama support were legal. There would be no need to support the illegal trafficking of children (which had been well orchestrated many months prior) because these children could be killed instead.
If Pelosi truly cares about these children, she can provide them with housing on any of her many properties and pay for their basic needs out of her own pocket of over $30 million.
~ bblankley contradicting House member Nancy Pelosi’s statements equating the lives of Jesus and Moses with the need for compassion towards the thousands of illegal immigrant children at the US/Mexican border, RedState, July 28
Pelosi is a moron and an embarrassment to the voters of San Francisco.
But Jesus and Mary and Joseph really were refugees in Egypt for many years, just as Moses and the Israelites were refugees from Egypt in their day. Not that any of this matters to our problems today.
We need a compassionate mix of controlling our borders and caring for those in need. Neither party has a grasp on how to do this. I get angry at Republican stubbornness and Democratic hypocrisy.

Did Mary want an abortion? No? Then Obama and Pelosi’s programs would not have caused her to have one.

As Del said above, Jesus was a refugee from violence when his family fled into Egypt.
contradicting House member Nancy Pelosi’s moronic statements equating the lives of Jesus and Moses with the need for compassion towards the thousands of illegal immigrant children at the US/Mexican border
Jill, on Judgment Day, when Jesus tells people who have shown compassion for the needy, the stranger, and the imprisoned, saying “whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers and sisters of mine, you did for me,” are you really going to tell him, “That’s a moronic statement”?

Jesus did break the law, according to the Sanhedrin. I’m also confused by the statement that Jesus was not a refugee; I can’t imagine what definition of refugee one could use that would not qualify Jesus as one.

Jesus was a refugee in Egypt, only returning to his homeland with his parents after Herod had died.
That being said, Nancy Pelosi never ceases to amaze me. I feel like she, Harry Reid, and Joe Biden are more frequently demonstrating that they are one fry short of a Happy Meal.

LisaC – Jill didn’t write the word “moronic.” The author of the QOD did, and I’ve removed it.
I have also added the author’s byline to the post.
So there’s one item that perhaps you can wipe off of your very large tally sheet of things that indignant pro-choicers can personally hold against Jill Stanek.

Governors know that they “cause” the things that they subsidize and subdue the things that they tax.
The coercion is subtle, but government-subsidized abortions make it easier for boyfriends and grandparents and employers to pressure a mother into killing her child.
Yes, the Obama/Pelosi policies cause women to have abortions by subsidizing the choice for abortion and penalizing the choices for life.

Horror writer Stephen King, who never misses a moment to attack Christian, asked where all the Christian love and compassion was for these children. When someone asked that he could easily house some of them at one of his luxury properties, including a 9 million mansion in Florida, he had nothing to say.
You notice that Michael “eat the rich” Moore hasn’t weighed in on the subject. In his divorce proceedings it was brought out that he owes NINE luxury properties all over the country. I guess it’s okay to be rich if you’re a Democrat, if you’re a Republican, you’re an e-vell capitalist piggy.

We all have a duty of Christian love and charity for the poor and the immigrants — and we’d like to see some of that coming from the mouths and pockets of Democrats like Pelosi.
This has been an ongoing crisis for many years. Democrats could have been doing something about this, rather forcing Catholics to buy contraception and Christians to buy abortions for everyone else.
Seriously, Pelosi? You are just discovering this? TEA Party Republicans have been trying to get you pay attention to the problem of immigrant youth trafficking for six years now!

That’s probably a good idea. I thought it was by Jill because there was no other attribution.

Oh, I don’t hold the post against its author. I think it was one of the funniest things that has ever appeared on this blog.

What? Hahahaha…. that’s just ludicrous. There are lots of babies being born in the US, all the time.

bblankley is a total kook. Jesus (so the story goes) actually was pretty much a refugee.

I see what Ex-GOP is talking about…. Pelosi is so embarrassing, other Democrats act they don’t know her.
But bblankly is not as skilled as most of the writers we are accustomed to reading, and he managed to miss an easy target. Jesus and Moses were both refugees, and yet that is entirely irrelevant to the discussion.
I am anxious to hear about a plan to help the refugees and deal with the immigration crisis. I want to hear something from the likes of Pelosi that is more substantial than, “Republicans are meanies! I’m righteous!”

So, Leader Pelosi goes out on a thin limb carrying her own saw to do herself in now n’ then with some flimsy rhetoric. I’ll take the former Speaker any day compared to Scott DesJarlais, TN-4th … anybody remember him?

Well, he is an outright lunatic. Skill level doesn’t even come into it, necessarily.

JDC/Del – just to add on – I get tired of people missing the point of key parts of the Bible by trying to make political cases. For instance, when the Passion of the Christ came out, there was the whole uproar over who killed Jesus – and that’s missing the point. Jesus being born of a virgin was the miracle – not anything to do with the political situation of the day. I’m pretty sure if God wanted to be born in flesh as Jesus, He would have made it happen.
So that’s why I thought this was a dumb quote – just a weird rambling thought that I felt misses the point on some things, and as Del pointed out, was just wrong in other areas.

Madam Leader’s very significant “crossing the aisle” move last Friday night to challenge “insignificant” Republican Tom Marino (R-PA) over his contention that the Democrats knew something about the problem of refugee children from C. America . . . just helped Marino become a new “made man” within his own party.
So now this guy who hailed from immigrant roots like Pelosi can soon count on becoming a rising star within the GOP. Just what this nation needs, another Baby Boomer drawbridge yanking, ever “accountable, fiscally conservative” Inspector Javert-like pol ripped right from the pages of Victor Hugo’s “Les Miserables.” Well, I hope Mr. Marino lives a long life and comes to see the error of his ways without resorting to Javert’s “solution.” But in the meantime, I pray and hope we never elect any more of his type to our state and national legislatures. We won’t remain the greatest nation in the world for long if this is the kind of short-sighted political “leaders” the children and grandchildren of the Greatest Generation keep electing.
Just about the only thing that wasn’t thrown at these kids was a mention, ever so-slightly and “deftly” implied, was they might bring Ebola. Give one prominent Aussie-owned network time. “Sources will tell them …” and the forces working against immigration reform will “win” again.
