I just want to clarify/ask a question – on #6 – is “federal courts” the singular rogue ruling by Hanen?

For the first time, I simply cannot choose. They are all on target.

They’re all pretty good, but I’m going with #6 because I get a lot schadenfreude out of the thought of thee left being the one’s who’s agenda is thwarted by the courts for once.

I am so tired of cartoons depicting Obama as a narcissist/dictator who intends to remake Americans in his own image. We get it, already! The duck is lamer than ever, and the tiger has not adjusted his stripes.
I like #2. Does anyone even care about Academy Awards anymore?
I voted for #1. How quickly we forget the deaths of millions of innocents, merely because a powerful caste has declared they are not human.

I only like the first one. The others i fail to get, but then I am european born and raised, in one of those evil welfare states where everyone has access to health care and your baby can be born free…

Mary Flannery,
The only thing “free” means is someone else is footing the bill, i.e. the taxpayer. Lots of babies are born “free” here as well.

Ms. Flannery has a point, though…
The abortion industry likes to prey upon a young woman’s fears that letting her child live will mean instant financial disaster.
It is true that many people confuse “taxpayer expense” with “free stuff,” but that’s a problem that can be fixed with education.
In the meantime, we should consider that childbirth ought to be a cost that taxpayers desire to pay, because every child serves the common good.
If we have public support for basic healthcare (such as childbirth), and refuse to pay for lifestyle choices (such as abortion), then our money reflects our values.

If we have public support for basic healthcare (such as childbirth), and refuse to pay for lifestyle choices (such as abortion), then our money reflects our values – abortion is also healthcare, not just a ‘lifestyle choice’. And what about other peoples values. Yours aren’t the only ones, the ‘right’ ones. Everything shouldn’t be ‘according to Del.’
