New and improved Tiller video

Students for Life of America has enhanced the video taken of late-term abortionist George Tiller at a pro-abort conference held at the National Education Association headquarters in DC 10 days ago.

I originally posted on this March 17. SFL has added more subtitles, exposing something Tiller said I could not decipher in the original, "I have done up to the day before delivery" (at 4:17 in the video):

One other point Kristan Hawkins, executive director for SFL, made in a press release today...

What is most disturbing about this video is the point when Dr. Tiller shows footage of children he has aborted.... Pro-lifers are regularly condemned for displaying pictures of aborted babies, but here the pro-abortion crowd and the NEA are more than happy to showcase these graphic images, and even gave Dr. Tiller's presentation a standing ovation.

Comments:

I feel that he dupes the "Charles Manson followers" into believing that MOST of his abortions are done because of maternal health risks. Notice that the emphasis is put on fetal abnormalities, rape, and incest.

It makes the unstable group go "AAAWWWW, what a great guy he is." Some women are so gullible.

Posted by: heather at March 19, 2008 5:17 PM

He even admits he does it to the day of delivery and these people are smitten with him? How disgusting.
These people are monsters.

What kind of woman goes into an abortionist the day before her due date and has her baby aborted? I have a hard time finding mercy in my heart for this woman....

Posted by: Patricia at March 19, 2008 6:57 PM

It's disgusting beyond words.

Posted by: heather at March 19, 2008 7:06 PM

Gross. I wouldn't want to have to carry one of those nasty deformed things to term. God bless Dr. Tiller for sparing those women that horror, even in the face of anti-choice terrorists who've attempted to murder him.

Posted by: reality at March 19, 2008 9:23 PM

And I suppose we should also wish Tiller to be "blessed" for sparing other women the "horror" of giving birth to perfectly healthy babies as well??
Please. This man knows what he does. The fact that he posts the "worst of the worst" to attempt to legitimize his trade is simply deceptive...at best.

This man is no hero. I agree with heather--he is duping people. Statistics show that a miniscule amount of abortions are done for rape, incest and abnormality.

The fact that insurance doesn't want to pay to have an "imperfect" child to be cared for medically is incredibly disappointing. This isn't medicine...it's selective breeding.

A child with an extra arm is not a "nasty deformed thing" reality!
It's a human child who deserves our love and help.
Where would you draw the line? At an extra finger?
Look at the beautiful child born with extra arms and legs and who had surgery to remove them and repair her body.

Are you grossed out by her too?
She's a little girl with a soul and precious.

"Gross. I wouldn't want to have to carry one of those nasty deformed things to term."

nasty deformed things Reality? You know, as he said in his presentation, only a minority are deformed, but what does it matter? those babies are human beings and deserve dignity. what kind of person are you?

Posted by: Jasper at March 19, 2008 10:05 PM

amen Patricia.

-------------------------------------
She would be no different than most of those women at that conference who stood and applauded Dr. Tiller for his "life's work." Good grief, what a topsy turvy world we live in!

And Patricia, if pro-choicers had their way, that little girl you cited never would have seen the light of day. You're exactly right...where DO we draw the line? As I said, there's too much "selective breeding" going on, all OVER the world.
Who paid for this little girl's medical surgeries?? Someone with far more heart than Dr. Tiller.

You know, not to go too far off topic here, but I often see that people who would call a deformity "gross" in an unborn child would look at an animal with a similar deformity and say "oh, let's fix that with surgery." (Because to kill an animal that could be repaired would, of course, be "inhumane.")

BTW, I failed to introduce myself. Hello, everyone, I'm Kel. I'm glad this board is here, and I appreciate Jill and her work very much, and have for several years now.

God bless...

Posted by: Kel at March 20, 2008 12:59 AM

Thank you for posting this Jill,

Every day I am more saddened by how our country accepts this brutality.

Dr. Tiller is truly sick. Babies are considered term at 36 weeks and what he does should be considered cold-blooded murder.

A person is still a person, regardless of deformity or handicap. You can't go up and shoot retarded, deformed, or handicapped people, so why does he have any right to do what he does?

And the women who support him and his sick pictures (made me cry) are sick? What has this world come to?

These are CHILDREN! Why aren't they treated as such?

reality, stop. you're acting unstable.

Gross. I wouldn't want to have to carry one of those nasty deformed things to term. God bless Dr. Tiller for sparing those women that horror, even in the face of anti-choice terrorists who've attempted to murder him.

Reality, it is your soul which is nasty and deformed. '

Do deformed born children creep you out too? I'm sure their parents would love to know how you detest looking at their disgusting "things".
You are positive proof that abortion is genocide.
People who don't want to have to be bothered with the unfit, just kill them off.

Posted by: Bethany at March 20, 2008 8:14 AM

Also, let's not forget that a lot of women see abortion as a reproductive right. It's a great way to stay in denial. Especially if they've had an abortion themselves. It's easier than admitting that you've recklessly destroyed your baby.

Posted by: heather at March 20, 2008 8:43 AM

heather, you're absolutely right. Staying rabidly pro-choice after a mother has had an abortion is a matter of self-protection. The pain involved in facing the truth, for some, is and would be too much, so they choose to remain in denial. I speak about this from experience, as many of you know. These mothers should be pitied and prayed for. Hopefully they'll come around soon and free themselves from their painful prisons through the mercy and forgiveness of Jesus Christ.

Posted by: PajamaMama at March 20, 2008 8:50 AM

and reality;

your comments are so offensive. Don't you have any room in your heart for the disabled? How can you call a baby a "gross thing"?

You need serious help and counseling. Please get it.

Posted by: PajamaMama at March 20, 2008 8:53 AM

PJ mom, right! Everyone is deserving of prayer. I have met so many post abortive women who have such different responses about their abortions. Some women immediately say "I've made a mistake." Others say "It was a good choice for me." Carla had made mention of the post abortive behaviors, and I see this often in the women who remain in denial. The main reactions are anger and rage. I pray today that Jesus will free them from their own bondage.

Posted by: heather at March 20, 2008 9:28 AM

Yeah, the standing O for killing disabled infants is pretty chilling, but that's the usual response he gets. We're all for "diversity" as long as you think, look, and move the way "normal" people do. Cleft palate? Missing limb? Developmental delays? Into the incinerator with you, Junior, and a round of applause for the guy firing up the oven.

Posted by: Christina at March 20, 2008 9:48 AM

"reality': Some mothers don't feel the way you do and decide to keep their "nasty deformed" children. I imagine you must be horrified when you meet up with one of those "nasty deformed" children when you are out and about. Actually, do you live in New England? You are probably the person that asked me this about my son: "Does IT talk?" Or maybe you are the parent of the teenager that was mimicking my son behind his back? Your views are vile.

Posted by: Carrie at March 20, 2008 11:09 AM

Carrie, I never knew anyone ever said that to you. That's beyond pitiful and cold blooded. reality, you will pay for your cruel words one day.

Posted by: heather at March 20, 2008 11:56 AM

Heather: Reality is a bigot. I have meet enough of them to know one when I "see" one.

I wonder what reality would do if her child was maimed in some type of accident?

I wonder what reality would do if she/he were ever disfigured in an accident or a fire.

Posted by: heather at March 20, 2008 5:19 PM

Well, Heather,
There's always, retroactive abortion (aka euthanasia).

Posted by: Patricia at March 20, 2008 7:17 PM

Based on her incredibly callous and insensitive remarks about the "gross" baby, as well as other cruel and dehumanizing remarks she makes about babies and abortion, I can only conclude that reality has, at some point, aborted, or given birth to such a "gross baby" due to substance abuse, and the denial has since taken over her psyche.

There are many more like her out there. I'd bet dollars to donuts that the vast majority of the women attending that conference where this video was shot, have done the same.

Embracing Tiller would be like embracing SATAN himself. I can't even fathom standing within ten feet of this demon who calls himself a doctor and has such a loyal group of followers.

Mike, they are like zombies.

Posted by: heather at March 21, 2008 7:34 AM

I can honestly say that I don't know of any women who are too enthusiastic about abortion. Chances are, if they've had one, they want to forget about it, and they only mention it in passing. They just don't want to be judged by others.

Posted by: heather at March 21, 2008 7:59 AM

In other words, they don't act like the women in the above clip.

Posted by: heather at March 21, 2008 8:03 AM

You've heard of the Abominable Snowman?

Tiller is the Abominable Man.

I can't believe we live in a country where this stuff is allowed. It's posts like this that really challenge my faith and question God's plan. I must trust Him though.

What a sickening puke this guy is. You can't imagine what I'd like to do to this guy. Thank God for him, I'm a Christian and must find a way to forgive and pray for him. Now that's hard stuff.

And these women. I have no words. They are moral perverts and reprobates, hell-bound apart from repentance.

Posted by: HisMan at March 21, 2008 11:05 PM

yeah...what HisMan said....

His man, Well put!

Posted by: heather at March 22, 2008 8:06 AM

What a lost and empty vessel this man is. Tiller should be prayed for with particular vigor. Looks like he doesn't have much time left to come around and be saved.

Reality,

Have you ever heard of a man named Jim Abbott? He was a baseball pitcher. He was born with ONE HAND. Yet, he overcame this and became one of the best pitches in Major League Baseball history. What if someone had told his mother to abort him? Baseball would have lost a great pitcher, all because of a small birth defect. Now he is a motivational speaker.

Just because someone isn't PERFECT doesn't mean they can't influence the world or make someone's day better.
