Grisly plot uncovered in cemetery where Emmett Till buried

emmett till before after.jpgEmmett Till is an important historical figure. It was photos of his disfigured, murdered 14-year-old body in Jet magazine that launched the civil rights movement in 1955. Pro-lifers use that example to explain the rationale for showing graphic photos of aborted babies.

That's the backdrop for this horrible story from the Associated Press, today:

Three gravediggers and a cemetery manager unearthed hundreds of corpses from a historic black cemetery south of Chicago, dumping some in a weeded area and double-stacking others in existing graves, in an elaborate scheme to resell the plots....

Frantic relatives of the deceased descended on Burr Oak Cemetery - the final resting place of lynching victim Emmett Till and blues singers Willie Dixon and Dinah Washington - in hopes someone could tell them their loved ones' remains were not among the pile of bones that littered a remote area of the property in Alsip, 12 miles south of Chicago....

A visibly shaken Rev. Jesse Jackson voiced the mounting anger at those who would toss the bones of the dead like trash.

"In my judgment, there should be no bail for them, there should be really a special place in hell for these graveyard thieves who have done so much, hurt these families," he said....

Gotta stop here and wish Jackson et al expressed as much outrage for the aborted "bones of the dead" tossed "like trash." Continuing the story...

The suspects, all of whom are black, were identified as Carolyn Towns, 49, Keith Nicks, 45, and Terrence Nicks, 39... and Maurice Dailey, 61.... They each have been charged with one count of dismembering a human body, a felony.

Authorities said Towns also pocketed donations she elicited for an Emmett Till memorial museum. She has not been charged in connection with those allegations....

Towns allegedly took cash for new graves, then instructed the 3 gravediggers to empty existing plots and move the remains inside to an unused part of the cemetery covered with chest-high grass and dotted with trees....

It's the second time in recent years that Burr Oak has been at the center of an investigation. In 2005, the body of the 14-year-old Till, whose slaying in 1955 in MS for allegedly whistling at a white woman helped galvanize the civil rights movement, was exhumed as part of a reopened investigation of his death.

[Cook Co. Sheriff Tom] Dart said Till's grave was not disturbed in the alleged plot-selling scheme....

Funny, they only had to show Emmett Till's body once to launch the civil rights movement. But you people have been parading around your fake "abortion" pictures for decades, and 70% of Americans still believe Roe v. Wade should remain the law of the land.

The difference is that Emmett Till was a person, while fetuses are inside persons.

Complete jerk..what do you think a fetus is a monkey..? It is a human being..have you seen a baby on a sonogram..move..suck its fingers etc? It even hiccups. what planet are you from..also you have your facts wrong..Roe no longer has the majority behind it. The photos are not fake..they are absolutely real..I can attest to this as a nurse..a human being is brutally slaughtered..see the film of the sono taken by Dr Bernard Nathanson, a former abortionist.."The Silent Scream"..when he saw the sonogram he never again did an abortion.

Somehow, I think that even if "reality" stood and watched an abortionist "reassemble" body parts from an abortion, he/she would call that "fake." Reality, you are not grounded in reality. What do you think a small, dismembered human being looks like? Science is not on your side.

This story is mortifying and sad. It seems that our humanity is slowly going out the window. And monetary gain is usually the motivation.

Reality, putting your opinions in bold doesn't make them facts.

Science conclusively says that unborn human beings are every bit as human as born human beings. If you want to call them 3/5 of a person and deny them rights, so be it, but it doesn't change biology. It just makes you a bigot.

I have so such many good wishes for those families right now; no one should have to go through this. Those poor people whose bodies were disturbed ought to be left to rest in peace. How cold of the people who did this.

As for Reality, ignore him. He's a bigot. He thinks that abortion is okay because his life matters more than that of someone else, and he is no better than the people who murdered poor Emmett Till. They also thought that they were superior. And only someone who honestly has no problem with hatred and violence (or, in Reality's case, is pleasesd with it and craves more of it) could possibly not shed a tear or stop for a moment to realize that Emmett Till, children of infanticide, or any other victim of injustice is someone's child, is someone's sister or brother or cousin or someone's counterpart of the soul.

------

reality - let's conduct a scientific test.

Let's find out if a person is a separate thing from human beings or if human beings are always persons. We can apply the same shredding violent destruction to your body that is done to the pre-born human beings. After you're completely shredded, you can prove your person doesn't rely upon the body you're inhabiting. Okay?

Sound violent? No more so than what you're promoting.

Why should other humans be subjected to violence using a test you're unwilling to take? After all - they're made of human flesh and blood like you. And if person is something that's additive, then you can prove us wrong after you're shredded. And we promise we'll never say you're wrong again.

------------------------------------------------------

Reality,

You have extinquished yourself again. The racist bigots who beat Emmett Till until he was almost unrecognizable never acknowledged he was 'person', at least not a person equal to them.

Just like them, you are blinded by your bigotry.

Keep listening for the 'pop'.

More black on black crime.

Even in death, they are victimized by their brothers and sisters in the hood.

Get these folks on Jerry Springer with the Klansmen and the 'trailer park' people.

Okies need not apply.

"The difference is that Emmett Till was a person, while fetuses are inside persons."

Um... reality, you're still admitting that fetuses are persons. Do you want to adjust your statement?

Reality, you are quite off, recent Gallop polls have found the general population in favor of Roe v. Wade 50 to 45%, where are your statistics from? Also, we have medical coroner authentication which verifies the images are real human "POC" resulting from abortion and the correct gestational age, where's your proof? Don't make statements if you can't back them with facts.

LOL.

My heart and prayers go out to all of the families affected by this horror.

Until abortion ends, the blatant disregard for the dignity of life at all stages will continue. I wouldn't expect pro-aborts to understand, but why don't pro-choicers see this? It's time for a massive conversion.
