Kathy Ireland explains pro-life position

Jill and Huck.jpgI spoke at the excellent NJ Right to Life annual banquet Friday night along with Gov. Mike Huckabee and Fr. Frank Pavone of Priests for Life.

Gov. Huckabee and I had an opportunity to get to know one another a bit at a pre-dinner reception when people had their picture taken with us. Between shots we chatted, having never met. What a personable man!

So when Gov. Huckabee asked if I had seen the segment on his April 12 Fox cable show with Kathy Ireland I thought, Rats! I didn't get a chance to put that clip up! even though I'd heard about it.

Gov. Huckabee said Ireland made the best concise case for the pro-life issue he had ever heard.

So here I am, finally posting Kathy Ireland's interview from Gov. Huckabee's show. First, the most relevant clips as shown and reported on by Josh Brahm of CA Right to Life and Science Matters....

The entire segment was excellent, wherein Ireland gave her Christian testimony....

I saw this on Val's blog the other day and was just shocked at how close Kathy is to Jesus. Just watching her and listening to her you can actually SEE and HEAR Jesus in her. It's amazing. Just like Gianna Jessen. These are the kinds of people I wish to be like someday...

Note: Kathy Ireland shot a movie at my alma mater. Rent it and you can see where I journey to class every day. :)

I remember reading that quote about Kathy reading her husband's books and seeing the information on the development a human being goes through before birth.

I am so glad she's PRO LIFE!

Kathy's answer is excellent - I sensed a bit of Scott Klusendorf and definitely Greg Koukl's statement about justification. She's been doing her homework.

What a gracious yet articulate delivery.

I am so impressed with Kathy Ireland. I had heard before she was pro-life but I never knew how articulate and knowledgeable she was about the topic.

Jill, has anyone told you you look great in that picture? :)

yeah, Jill you look very attractive! Nice pic! :)

"I looked at medical books" before becoming pro life. I know. That is why they don't want moms to see sonograms. Prodeathers are against facts, medicine and truth.

Kathy's testimony is strong.

"Prodeathers are against facts, medicine and truth."

Isn't it ironic how even medical professionals choose to ignore the truth? I think medical schools today are moving away from political correctness when it comes to abortion, but there's still a long way to go.
