I like the symbolism of the Grim Reaper hiding in the cake...
Even under many layers of sugar-coating you place on abortion to sweeten the issue and make it look common place...DEATH is still at the very heart of it.
Posted by: RSD at January 25, 2008 12:29 PMSo true, RSD.
Posted by: Bethany at January 25, 2008 2:41 PMHaha, I like that top one. It makes me feel all warm and tingly. You guys should lighten up a bit.
Posted by: Naniboujou at January 25, 2008 3:26 PMNaniboujou,
...it would be funny if it wasn't true...
from all the reports about abortionists' sloppy and degrading conduct on their patients (some end up dead)...nothing they do can even be considered funny to a normal person...
Posted by: RSD at January 25, 2008 3:48 PMAdding on the cakes ingredients: Load on empty euphemisms, a ream of lies, sexist pig men, women who are deluded and feel helpless. Extract out all love, hope, faith, charity, creativity, strength of character and understanding of God's natural laws. Simmer with luke warm sentimentality "I'm personally against but... politicians, parents, friends, medical practitioners, preachers, media, lawyers"
Posted by: Anne at January 25, 2008 4:50 PMHey folks, did you see Bobby Schindler endorsed Mike Huckabee for president? Great news!

Here's a link to a new group, composed of women who regret their abortions and now wholeheartedly support Mike Huckabee.
And Norma McCorvey endorsed Ron Paul!
Posted by: Vegan Phil at January 25, 2008 8:41 PMThese cartoons are incredibly disturbing. The food innuendos remind me of that story Jill did back in the spring about fetuses being a delicacy in China. Eww.

Of course they did. There's a sucker born every minute.
Posted by: Sally at January 25, 2008 11:11 PMThe artwork is unoriginal and the tag lines are lacking in thought provoking wit. No Pulitzers here.
Posted by: Sally at January 25, 2008 11:15 PMI put that link on a blog for Asians against stereotypes in the media. They flipped out. Especially because it isn't true. First they have people saying they eat their neighbors dogs, now this...
Posted by: Jess at January 26, 2008 12:46 AMWhile the China post may not have been true, the post about the Indian abortionist was...he kept his "lunch" in the refrigerator...lost his license over it.

Posted by: mk at January 26, 2008 5:43 AMKansans for Life was instrumental in bringing abortionist Krishna Rajanna to his too slow justice, and KFL has provided additional inside info. (See WorldNetDaily.com news article "Abortionist accused
of eating fetuses - Kansas City clinic closed as grisly house of horrors" and my column, "'Fetus eater' loses medical license" for backdrop.)
Sally, Laura, just for the record, Jill did not at any time, claim that the China story was true.
However, there have been people who actually have eaten fetuses, as MK showed above, and so the story was definitely plausible.
Bethany,
That is the most disgusting thing I've ever heard. I don't even know what to say, execpt evil. I'm taking my daughter to her ice skating lesson now, good images!!
Posted by: Tara at January 26, 2008 9:44 AMYeah well plenty of white people eat people too.
Posted by: Jess at January 26, 2008 1:02 PMAnd besides, cannibalism isn't a crime in the United States.
Posted by: Jess at January 26, 2008 1:10 PMWhere is any evidence that there is no cannibalism of unborn children in China?
Posted by: Anonymous at January 26, 2008 2:16 PMJess,
What is with you today??? You're killin' me...first the girl in video, and now cannibalism is legal? Isn't that the argument for abortion? If it's legal it must be morally okay? So is cannibalism morally okay in your book too?
Posted by: mk at January 26, 2008 2:16 PMNo that's not my argument for abortion. It's usually what leads up to cannibalism that's illegal: murder, grave robbery, ect.
I'm just so bored and lonely. I'm away at school and my roommate couldn't come back because of loans and my other friend transfered and all my other friends are in a dorm across campus and my boyfriend is working and my hamsters at my home and all my other friends are at other schools or they're back home and I live 2 1/2 hrs away and I don't have my roommate so my room's empty and I was always going out and doing stuff last semester but now I have nothing to do.
Oh Jess,
I'm sorry. I think being bored is worse than water torture.
There are some addictive games on:
Personally I like Open House and the Princess Tiara.
Plus Psych is being rerun at 5:00. And I think Monk is on after that.
And most Catholic Churches have a 4:30 mass...okay, I had to try...lol
Posted by: mk at January 26, 2008 4:23 PMJess, maybe you have the "winter blues." I get horribly tired/bored/lonely/etc... during this time of year and I can't wait until spring when my mood shoots way up. (If you're in a warm climate this probably doesn't apply.)
Reading a good book always helps if you have the time to take from studying. I have to recommend "The Devil in the White City" if you haven't read it - such a good book! - and "The Great Influenza." But I love history so they might not be your cup of tea.
I think MK recommended “The Lovely Bones” too. I have a friend that’s been trying to get me to read that for a couple years but I read 99% non-fiction and that book creeps me out.
Just a thought. Hope you feel better.
Oh. My. God.
