Blogs4Life spy games

spy.jpg
It appears pro-aborts infiltrated FRC's Blogs4Life conference, not that I minded. "Amused" and "intrigued" would be better descriptors. The hope is always that exposure to unfiltered pro-life truths will make a positive impact.

Not so this time. The blogger at feministing.com, was not a spy who loved us. She said this, among other things, which strikes me as one of the all-time classicly ironic, appallingly blind statements I've ever read:

See, if you ask Sam Brownback, one of the problems with America is that we treat fetuses as second-class citizens, much like African-Americans were treated in the pre-civil rights era. Does this seem more than a little insulting to anyone else? Saying that black people and fetuses (and really, embryos) should be considered "equally human"? Wow.

While maintaining it's ridiculous to compare our country's previous legal position that blacks weren't "equally human" with our country's current legal position that preborns aren't "equally human," Ann scoffs that preborns aren't equally human? Incredible.

I'm blogging additional responses to Ann and her readers on her blog, if you'd care to join the melee.

Another pro-abort blogger at CampusProgess.org entitled her description of the event, "Anti-choicers get a life," to which there are good responses.

News organizations infozine.com and spokesmanreview.com both covered the conference well, with the latter also blogging on it.

Comments:

What I loved is when she claims that you told her that abortionists eat fetuses. No, you said that there had been allegations that one abortionist had been eating fetuses, and that somebody had sent you photos showing fetuses in the fridge with the food to back up the claim.

But I guess logic isn't her forte, or she'd not be "prochoice" to begin with.

Incredible! These pro-aborts just don't get it! Even common sense is beyond them, that's why they have to resort to their smear tactics and name calling since their mental IQ does not allow them to participate in a logical discussion.

Christina, yes, many commenters on her blog alleged I was basically crazy, but I responded by giving a link to the photos and said anyone could google the name "Krishna Rajanna" and get corroboration.

So the pro-aborts deemed Blogs for Life infiltration-worthy.

What a coup for pro-life bloggers!

Blogs for Life is only in it's second year, and already the pro-aborts are sending in the spies! Well done!
My 13 year-old daughter wasn't fooled, "those two women in the back who asked Senator Brownback that mean question looked like they didn't belong. They didn't smile, and they left early because they were mad."
Come back next year, ladies, you might learn something!

Leticia, your daughter has a keen eye. I remember thinking the question to Brownback was strange, but I didn't look to see who asking it.

I continue to respond to comments on feministing.com's site, btw, but now the host is screening my responses before she'll post them.

See, if you ask Abraham Lincoln, one of the problems with America is that we treat Negroes as second-class citizens, much like Americans were treated in the pre-Declaration of Independence era. Does this seem more than a little insulting to anyone else? Saying that Americans and Negroes (and really, slaves) should be considered "equally human"? Wow.
