I love the song... wouldn't change my mind, though.

I've seen that video before.It makes me cry sometimes.I understand that an unplanned pregnancy can cause fear,shock,major upset,etc.However,if you give it time and allow the fear to subside,you may realize that the best gift of your life is that little guy or girl.It's easy to get tripped up.Society IS pressure.We are expected to get an education.Most women are under pressure to get degrees today.On top of that we gotta make everyone happy.However,I always stress to people that once you have an abortion,you can't undo it.I wouldn't want to go through life always wondering what could have been.

very sad. I recently watched the "The Harder Truth" and it brought me to tears. Thank you for displaying the truth about this horrible evil, because we won't get it from the MSM.

Alright then, Bethany, ever heard the song What it's Like by Everlast? Here are some of the lyrics:

Obviously pro-choice, right? Funny, I like the song and all, but that's not why, and I certainly don't go around parading it as a political anthem.

Furthermore, notice your song says the following:

The guy's pro-choice. He won't have sex with a girl who would abort anything resulting from said sex, but that's a perfectly respectable position and certainly his right.

Either way, it's just a song. Nothing more, and nothing less. It's art and it's beautiful, but I don't think it's meant to be a political anthem.

PS. I'm not being funny. This woman did not and I do mean DID NOT want children. She and her hubby signed the papers and she got them tied.

Momof3, doctors refuse to preform that procedure for women under 28ish who don't have kids. I've checked, and they just don't do it. Besides, who's to say that I won't change my mind? And why should I have a VERY invasive surgery because you're squeamish about me using contraceptives?

I'm not squeamish about contraceptives. I acknowledge the fact that they kill human life, but I'm not "squeamish".

However, I do know that if you did become pregnant, chances are, you'd have less of a problem with an invasive abortion surgery than you would with having your tubes tied. Why not prevent it rather than giving it a chance to happen when you're determined not to have children? Why not go for a more permanent measure?

Actually, as I've stated in previous posts, if I needed an abortion I would go with a herbal method. Not invasive, not unnatural. These herbal cocktails have been used for hundreds of years.

As having my tubes tied is, in fact, permanent, and I dislike anything permanent, I have no real desire to do it. Besides, if I do change my mind, what am I left with? Why not do everything I can to prevent it now, and if I change my mind than everything is fine?

The fact that I have been called an "angry, bitter, jealous, miserable, sulking, envious pro-deather" (by the way, thanks momof3, and what is it that I'm so jealous of?) is just a tad bit ridiculous when it comes to this post, you really took the cake Bethany.

Do you honestly think people who have had abortion just don't care? I had sex, yes, but having sex is not agreeing to get pregnant (argue your points that it is as much as you want, I don't care) I used a condom, and it wasn't just promiscuous sex, it was with my boyfriend (not everyone who has had an abortion is a whore, there are women who have been married to the same person for years who had had abortions, and women who have been with their significant others for years who have had abortions) I got pregnant, and I had no choice. There was no possible way I would be able to give that child the life it deserved, the life I would want to give my child (and don't preach to me about adoption, ever notice how much our foster care system sucks?).

I don't go around all proud of my abortion, I think about it a lot, and I do care, I wish I could have made a different choice, but at the time I just couldn't.

I am pro-choice, bitch at me all you want, I will always know I made the right choice, however I will never just not care, and I will never act like it was nothing.

So posts all your crap to make us all feel bad, but never, ever accuse everyone of not caring.

Sorry for freaking out, the song just hit home, I was just trying to make the point, that just because some of us are pro-choice, we are not pro-death, and we are not pro-abortion. I would never recommend abortion to anyone, I would never do it again, I just think some of you (not all of you) have a tendency to think we don't care, when a lot of us care deeply.

I would like to appoligize to you as well, I know for a fact I can come off extremly nasty at times, and a lot of it has been towards you, please understand that a lot of it is just frustration with feeling like sometimes people on here can make it come off like people who are pro-choice or have had an abortion don't care and think of abortion as nothing or frustration with myself, and sometimes I'm just having a bad day, and not letting off my steam properly, it's nothing against you personally.
