If My people

By HisMan (HisWay, HisWords, always and forever indebted to my Lord and Savior, the Power of One)

CAG0UAIOCA8BH04OCAU4G0CACAGX7VOHCAGPUXNECA2WHNKKCA41HRZHCAQUNQPECARIENNRCASQRCSLCAMKB6W2CAZSNI2TCA0CA42TCAX49JA0CA3EEHNCCAGLM1XYCA0QPTIBCA8Z947LCALDADMQ.jpgI want to thank Jill for trusting me enough to allow a blogger novice to post on her site. Perhaps she saw a passion in me against a horrific injustice that I am absolutely convinced must be stopped. I have learned from the give and take of the debate banter that as passionate as I am, there lurks a proof to Newtonian phylosophics......"every argument has an equal but opposite argument". Or should I say, "every truth is challenged by an unequal lie"? Pro-abortioners will not just go away as much as my wishful thinking hopes they would. But, the power is not to be found in what I say or wish, but in what I obey....

Is there any hope for those of us who refuse, as the prophet Daniel refused, to worship the beast and see abortion as it really is; a holocaustal monument to the god of death? Do we dare enter the lion's den of political correctness and challenge a false right masqueraded as a woman's right? Do we believe we can emerge without a trace of it's stench on our souls, redeemed and alive? Yes, yes and yes!!!! The answer is us, the Church, the Body of Christ and our obedient response to the plague. As daylight is to vampires and penicillin is to infection, pro-abortionists hate God's word, especially when it is forcefully proclaimed by His people against their evil license. I know why. Light exposes the darkness and they beg as the rich man begs for a cool drop of water to quench his agony: "Where the switch"?

We ask, "where's the hope, where has God spoken on this"? Here it is, in oft used verses found in the book of 2 Chronicles 7:11-16, "When Solomon had finished the temple of the LORD and the royal palace, and had succeeded in carrying out all he had in mind to do in the temple of the LORD and in his own palace, the LORD appeared to him at night and said: "I have heard your prayer and have chosen this place for myself as a temple for sacrifices. When I shut up the heavens so that there is no rain, or command locusts to devour the land or send a plague among my people..........."

Notice, as a desire for His people to respond, God afflicted them and they answered by building the temple, a place for God to dwell. As His people, whose hearts are now His dwelling place not built with human hands, we have been afflicted with the plague of abortion for 34 years for our lack of knowledge and ignorance. For He continues, "........if my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then will I hear from heaven and will forgive their sin and will heal their land. Now my eyes will be open and my ears attentive to the prayers offered in this place. I have chosen and consecrated this temple so that my Name may be there forever. My eyes and my heart will always be there." It's time to rebuild the edifice in our hearts that abortion is murder. The Partial Birth Abortion ban ruling this week is a sign, that construction has begun. Do we dare not complete the project?

My friends, God has done His part, it's time to do ours: Humble ourselves, pray, seek His face, turn from our wicked ways. That is the knowledge we so desperately need in this spiritual battle against abortion. We simply need to apply it. He has promised to deliver us from evil, on earth as it is in Heaven, for no babies are aborted in Heaven.

Christians can no longer afford to be ignorant of the evil of abortion for He says in Hosea 4:6, "My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge because you have rejected knowledge, I also will reject you from being My priest since you have forgotten the law of your God, I also will forget your children."

Let Him not forget our children by abandoning them to abortion, lest we not obey Him. This my friends is the TRUE and ONLY choice.

Phil Harrris sees it this way too but puts it in a different light....

"Secular-minded folks, versed in the hymns of pure science, will ridicule the idea that an embryo, or a fetus might actually have thoughts of any kind, and I am not aware that any half-written diaries have been found in post-abortion medical waste. However, from a non-secular perspective, we really do not know what the soul is, or if the soul is aware before being attached to an earthly life."

"The child who is so often terminated for reasons of convenience (or inconvenience) is too often thought of as a blob of tissues with no claim to humanity. That is simply a state of mind, which needs desperately to be changed. Tens of millions of children have been ripped to shreds and discarded as medical waste without ceremony. This happens thousands of times each day, as we sip our morning coffee and while we pass the potatoes to Grandma at the dinner table."

Comments:

Speaking of Solomon, I think most of us know the story where two women came forward claiming to be the mother of a baby. They wanted a royal decision on the matter.

Solomon's answer, slice the baby in two and give one half to each mother.

The real mother, terrified for the baby's life was more than willing to give the baby away to the false mother, if only to save it's life.

Too bad this story could possibly not be written today because seems like most women wouldn't care. In fact, they would say, "Can I see that sword you're carrying Solomon? Is that stainless of Damascus steel? Does this work against a natural leech? Oh, never mind, I'll go over to the Planned Parenthood Clinic down the street from the Temple. I hear they sacrifice these wee ones to Molech".

Actually, that plot would make a good story. It can be spun a bit differently to reach the people of today.

Thanks for the tip!

I love to write and have been searching for a new plot. I'll let you know how it goes...

"I love to write and have been searching for a new plot."

What kinds of things do you write?

I'd love to be able to write something other than research papers for class, but I'm not creative enough to develop sound characters and plots and everything.

Valerie,

My royalty fees are low, very low.

Posted by: His Man Author Profile Page at April 20, 2007 10:53 PM

Heather -

I write science/fantasy/mystery type fiction. It depends on my mood. But one theme is there is always a very strong heroine that saves the day! ;-)

If you want to write, take some creative writing classes. It is actually easy to do characters. One way to 'study' character is to go to the mall, sit down and watch everyone. It is amazing what you can pick up.

HisMan -

Very low, better be extremely low as I've never had anything published. Unless you count a small article in the local pet health magazine, but that was fact based on canine/feline nutrition. Not very plot oriented.

;-)

One day though - I'll figure out how to get published.

Valerie,

The Bible is an excellent, endless source for writing material.

Besides, He says He'll give us the desires of our heart if we delight in Him.

Want to be truly sucessful at your life's passion, get to know Him, for He cares for you.

Posted by: His Man Author Profile Page at April 20, 2007 11:47 PM

Valerie, you write the type of books I like to read!

I don't know why, but that amuses me.

Posted by: Heather at April 20, 2007 11:55 PM

Valerie,

While I have never published anything, I have tons of friends that have.

They tell me the secret is finding a publisher who won't take all your money.

If you are interested I can give you the names of friends that have been through the process.

Danielle,

Don't you find it a wee bit odd that you are giving usstatistics that are supposed to impress us about a subject you don't believe exists?

HisMan -

I love using the Bible as a plot source. I especially like to be inspired by the women in the bible for character ideas.

I have a book going now that is Bible based. I just may take you up on your offer when I get it done. To put the plot in simple forms it is about how God not only loves sinners but how he will ask for their help when they open their hearts to him. Of course there is mystery and romance and all that in it too. ;-)

Posted by: Valerie Author Profile Page at April 21, 2007 8:26 AM

Can't wait Valerie,

My wife loves Biblically based romance novels and would love a signed copy.

You can do it. Remember, a good man (woman) leaves a legacy to his (her) children's children (Proverbs 13:22). When you write the book, please keep that in mind.

I can see He and your husband love you, your joy flows through your posts. You are filled.

Shalom.

Valerie,

One other note:

There is a significant difference between women (and men) like you who derive their joy from God and others and, those that deny Him.

Your joy is genuine and devoid of pre-occupation with self.

Others say I'm this and I'm that and I've done this, it's always about them.

What they fail to realize is when they are done with this life so is their self-joy as it expires with them.

When you are done, you're joy will be eternal because it's based on the everlasting One....

Way to go!

Valerie, you might want to check out NaNoWriMo: National Novel Writing Month. It won't be happening until September, but when it starts the challenge becomes to write an entire novel in thirty days. There's a website I can give you if you're interested. Loads of people get published off of that.

Posted by: Less Author Profile Page at April 21, 2007 12:22 PM

Valerie, also check out Dan Poynter's book, "The Self Publishing manual", which explains everything you need to know in order to get your book published yourself, and how to promote it, etc. Every single cent of profit you make from the book goes to you instead of another publisher and there are many, many other benefits which the book goes into detail about. When I finally get a book published, I'll be doing it this way.

Posted by: Bethany Author Profile Page at April 21, 2007 1:40 PM

Less - yes, if you have that website that would be great.

Bethany - you like to write too? cool. I have "getting your book published for Dummies" it seems to have some good info, but I will definately check out that manuael.

HisMan - Thanks. Your words are an inspiration.

I just thought I would stick that in here since I think I hijacked this post.

I should probably say HI! to HisMan too, since this was his post I hijacked.

* hugs * to all!

Valerie,

No problem.

I'm only interested in truth being proclaimed which you, Bethany, and are quite good at.
