Lila Rose on O'Reilly tonight

Our own Valerie, host of the new blog, 2SecondsFaster.com, has been fleshing out the story of UCLA student Lila Rose, who went undercover in two Los Angeles area Planned Parenthood abortion mills and videotaped condemning evidence they cover up rapes. Credit for my information and links today goes to Valerie.

See my previous posts here, here, and here, where I showed Lila's videos and then reported YouTube yanked them May 15 after PP threatened to sue Lila.

The big news is Lila is to appear on The O'Reilly Factor tonight. Lila also has a website.

advocate.pngLila has been busy. She has also infiltrated two UCLA student health clinics and published two incredible underground newsletters exposing workers who lied about pregnancy, encouraged abortions, and suggested how to circumvent the law. Lila also named their school administrator enablers.

Read the newsletters here and here. This chick has guts. Go, Lila!

Meanwhile, Michelle Malkin wrote a column about Lila yesterday, contrasting how MSM showcases undercover journalists pursuing the liberal agenda but shuns those like Lila, who expose the liberal agenda in an unflattering light.

Comments:

Lila, I hope you sue Planned Barrenhood into the ground. Take all their $ and close em down!!!!

Abortionists are disgusting baby killing pigs!

Posted by: Heather4life at May 17, 2007 9:41 AM

The funny thing is, if PP would have just left this alone, it may have gone away with little fanfare. But they went and opened their big mouths and sent their scary lawyers and now look at all the attention Lila is getting.

I say good for Lila. PP doesn't owe her money, but they do owe everyone an explanation. If it is indeed not their common practice to treat patients this way (cough, cough), then they need to do something about it.

I'll be sure to record Bill O'reilly tonight.

I agree that PP isn't doing itself any favors with this cover up.

Posted by: Lauren Author Profile Page at May 17, 2007 9:56 AM

If PP doesnt consider this a problem, why are they so desperate to cover it up? Where there's smoke, there's fire...

Posted by: SamanthaT at May 17, 2007 9:59 AM

She should go into a church pretending to be a thirteen year old girl seeking advice/support from the preacher.

Samantha T. Great point!

Better yet... pretedning to be a thirteen year old boy!

Posted by: Cameron at May 17, 2007 10:25 AM

I'm going to watch Bill O'Rielly too.

Posted by: Heather4life at May 17, 2007 10:26 AM

OK, but if Lila is sexually assaulted with a loofa DON'T SAY I DIDN'T WARN YOU!

Posted by: Laura at May 17, 2007 10:27 AM

The explosion in coverage of this after Planned Parenthood tried to squelch the video is very similar to the "uprising" on digg.com after they deleted a posting that contained the code needed to crack HD DVDs. Bloggers began spreading the code around far too fast for Digg.com to stop them.

Posted by: Phil at May 17, 2007 10:27 AM

It just goes to show you that PP is pure sleaze! They will stop at nothing to make a buck.

Posted by: Heather4life at May 17, 2007 10:29 AM

That's why I like Bill O. Who else on TV would've covered this....

Laura will be watching Keith Olbermann talking about how President Bush secretly blew up the World Trade Center.

Posted by: jasper Author Profile Page at May 17, 2007 10:37 AM

Since I didn't see the videos, I'd like to know exactly what she did to obtain them.

And no, it's not always Planned Parenthood covering up for rapists. You could just as easily say that maternity wards cover up for rapists. Just because a woman was raped doesn't mean she reported it. Geez.

Posted by: Ilana at May 17, 2007 10:40 AM

And Heather, do you have anything to say other than pro-life rhetoric? You make your whole side look rather bad.

Posted by: Ilana at May 17, 2007 10:43 AM

How about the girl that did report her rape to PP? They sent her home with her rapist father.

Posted by: Heather4life at May 17, 2007 10:44 AM

Ilana, Who the heck do you think YOU are? You make your side look bad! I think you should really investigate the abortion industry before you speak on it.

Posted by: Heather4life at May 17, 2007 10:47 AM

Oh Jasper, Olbermann is HOT, and he never accused 'Dumbya of blowing up the Trade Center Towers, - just total incompetence.
Here, read Bill O'Reilly's transcripted phone call to Andrea Makris - a woman who couldn't STAND him. It only cost BillO 10 million dollars in a settled sexual harrassment suit.

Anyway, abortion is murder!

Posted by: Heather4life at May 17, 2007 11:36 AM

I am greatly amused, more so than anything else here, by y'all's paranoid antics regarding everyone's identity. More so than you're blatant hypocrisy, ridiculous notions, and illegitimate arguments, it is this stupidity above all else I find so endearing here. It's histerical when a random new someone, even prolifers, show up and you promptly question their identity and start accusing them of what not should they agree with me on a point. You do prochoice a service... whether you are doing so intentionally or not, I solute you.

No. Same IP address as Kristen. Again, you wish Steve/Will.

@Jasper: What makes you think Ilana is from Russia?

Posted by: Rae at May 17, 2007 12:29 PM

Rae, Ilana also goes by Kristen. She accused others of trolling, and she denied that she was. She denied 2 identities and was caught lying. She is not credible. So, who really cares where she's from? She will probably lie about that too.

Posted by: Heather4life at May 17, 2007 1:05 PM

"Jasper: What makes you think Ilana is from Russia?"

I don't know, I guessed from the name.

Laura -

"Here, read Bill O'Reilly's transcripted phone call to Andrea Makris - a woman who couldn't STAND him. It only cost BillO 10 million dollars in a settled sexual harrassment suit.
(Caution, graphic, profane, and really, really creepy);
http://www.thesmokinggun.com/archive/1013043mackris16.html"

I just hate it when someone doesn't have their facts straight. The smoking gun website is only the paperwork filed and not the final outcome. Evryone knows the producer (Mackris) was suing O'Reilly on sexual harrassment because he said it on both his radio and tv show. And that he was suing the her for extortion in attempt for hush money for something he says he didn't do.

How about some facts.
AP article
http://www.cbsnews.com/stories/2004/10/20/entertainment/main650282.shtml

Of course the heading says that O'Reilly settles suit but when you actually read the article, that isn't true.

"The New York Daily News, citing unidentified sources, reported that O'Reilly had agreed to pay Mackris anywhere from $2 million to $10 million. Separately, the New York Post said it was believed that O'Reilly paid "multimillions of dollars" to settle the suit. "

**These are not facts, they are assumptions that have no backing.

"The out-of-court settlement came on the eve of a courtroom fight over audiotapes, reports CBS News Correspondent Kelly Cobiella.
O'Reilly lawyer Ronald Green had said he believed there were tapes of conversations between the two and asked a court to compel Mackris to produce them so they could be played publicly. "

***Why wouldn't Mackris hand over those tapes if it proved O'Reilly's guilt? O'Reilly was getting a court order to compel Mackris to have the tapes played publically. Does this sound like something a guilty man would do?

"Shortly before "Factor" aired, O'Reilly's lawyer Green, issued a statement saying the cases and claims had been withdrawn and all parties agreed there was no wrongdoing by O'Reilly, Mackris or Mackris' lawyer Benedict Morelli. "

***This does not say that O'Reilly is guilty and that he paid any money does it?

**oh, and those two NY papers that claims he paid for a settlement. O'Reilly has embarassed them on a number of occasions for reporting hack jobs.

Posted by: Valerie Author Profile Page at May 17, 2007 2:28 PM

Valerie,

An excellent and informative post. I didn't read this anywhere in the MSM but why should that be a surprise? However I must ask, so what if O'Reilly did sexually harass this woman? Its OK when Bill Clinton is accused of everything from exposing himself to rape. Only when Bill flashes its called "propositioning" and when he's accused of rape, its called "a private matter". How nice to have the media on your side. Ted Kennedy's nephew was accused of rape after a night of Tomcatting with Uncle Ted, who one would think is a tad long in the tooth to be out romping like a college boy. No one had a problem with Uncle Ted hiring the best lawyers he could to rip this woman to shreds, nor did anyone ask why a more experienced and forceful prosecutor wasn't put on the case.
Is it my imagination or is "concern" about sexual harassment based solely on the political persuasion of the accused?

Posted by: Mary at May 17, 2007 3:51 PM

Mary,I am so sorry but what a hoot to read about Bill "flashing" being called "propositioning." It just caught me off guard, and now I've got the giggles! And the reason I'm laughing is because it's true!

Hannity and Comes is covering Lila Rose's investigation as well.

Posted by: jasper at May 17, 2007 8:25 PM

Yes, she did great on O'Reilly. I'm glad she got in the story of the mill worker who wished she'd aborted her now 16-year-old son.

The Hannity part of the H&C coverage was great. Alan Colmes, though. Yuck. Can't believe he focused on Lila's videotaping infraction. That's what he does, though. Don't know how he can sleep at night.

Posted by: Jill Stanek Author Profile Page at May 17, 2007 8:40 PM

Mary -

That is so true! I didn't even think of that.

Jill -

I'm glad to hear she did well. My daughter and I are sick today, so the TV hasn't really been on. I taped it and hope I will get time in the morning to watch it.....

I does amaze me how the liberals are more interested in the fact that one California law was broke (videotaping etc.) but don't seem to care about the other California law that was broke. I guess protecting girls from rape and pediphiles isn't as important as protecting her right to 'choose'.

Posted by: Valerie Author Profile Page at May 17, 2007 8:46 PM

I agree with Cameron--I'd like to see a teenage girl do a similar experiment: going into confession and telling the priest she's had sex with an older man and then see if the priest reports statuary rape.

Who here thinks he would, and who thinks he wouldn't?

Posted by: SoMG at May 17, 2007 10:50 PM

BTW, Valerie, pediphiles are people who love feet.

Posted by: SoMG at May 17, 2007 11:00 PM

Valerie, pediphiles are people who love feet.

Way to try to avert attention from the completely relevant point of her post because you cannot justify the protection of statutory rapists! But dictionary.com has no listing for "pediphile," so beyond the obvious fact that she was quickly typing and made an error, you are further deteriorating your credibility.

Posted by: Jill Stanek Author Profile Page at May 18, 2007 6:29 AM

Smog, Why do you keep on writing stupid, juvenile and irrelevant things? Nobody against abortion is ever going to change their minds about it. Just give up! Why dont you go chat on a pro choice site. I'm sure they will welcome you with open arms, and they will agree with everything you have to say. What's the problem? Is your camp filled with a bunch of sticks in the mud?

Posted by: Heather4life at May 18, 2007 8:01 AM

SMOG -

I have never won a spelling bee, and I never will!

;-)

Jill -

You're forgiven.

Back to SOMG -

As for the priest and confession. Does the priest help the girl cover up the rape? Does he help get rid of the evidence? Does he give her "protection" so she won't have anymore evidence?

Let's see. A priest will encourage the girl to get help for herself and to tell someone. If possible, he will go with her to inform parents or authorities. He will also give her names of psychologists she can go to that will help her at no cost (many dr's have these programs with churches). He will do what is right for the girl. If she does not do any of this, the priest is obligated to inform the Bishop and get advice on how to do what is right for the girl without violating the confession. Since every case is different at this point, it is handled on a case by case basis. There are ways to get that girl help without violating the confessional.

Posted by: Valerie Author Profile Page at May 18, 2007 9:02 AM

Why do we talk of confession like it involves only a priest? Clergy of any faith are required to protect the confidence of confession or counsel as strictly as any Catholic priest.
