Rosie breaks vow not to excite pregnant Hasselbeck

Only two weeks ago I wrote a column about Rosie O'Donnell's hypocritical vow to no longer spar with one of her co-hosts on The View, Elisabeth Hasselbeck, because Elisabeth was pregnant.

Rosie, so extreme as to support partial birth abortion, wanted it both ways, to elevate motherhood to a place only sexists would take it while denegrating motherhood to a place only rabid pro-aborts would take it.

Well, not a surprise, Rosie just broke her vow, and compounded the hypocrisy by again using pregnant mothers to suit her purposes, "speak[ing] for them," this time as a shield against the war in Iraq:

Comments:

I figured it wouldn't take her long! Only two weeks, eh? :D

Rosie, Rosie, Rosie. I used to like you. What a shame. It seems like this woman will say anything and everything now a days. Either she's losin it, or she just doesn't care anymore because The View gave her the boot.

Wow. Rosie reminds me of the mean girl at school who walked around with her nose in the air thinking herself superior to everyone else.

hahaha Lauren, I can picture her doing that! And I went to school with some stuck up biznitches...

I have never heard anyone break down Rosie like Fr. Thomas Loya did this morning on Relevant Radio.

Fr. Loya was on Morning Air like he is every Thursday from 7-8AM central time. He applied the fighting between Rosie and Elizabeth H. to the Theology of the Body. It was by far the best analysis of Rosie O'Donnell I have ever heard. You can listen to today's show on the audio archives at...

http://www.relevantradio.com/NETCOMMUNITY/Page.aspx?&pid=534&srcid=-2

It should be posted tomorrow. Fr. Loya also has his own website at byzantinecatholic.com.

One more point -- Isn't it interesting how "The View" has a liberal heavyweight Rosie O'Donnell always attacking the more conservative Elizabeth Hasselbeck on their show. It shows ABC is very slanted to the liberal view.

Wouldn't it be better if ABC had conservative heavyweights like Michelle Malkin or Ann Coulter on the show instead of Elizabeth Hasselbeck to even the sides up and get a true debate?

I forgot to add in my previous post Elizabeth Hasselbeck is a conservative lightweight - "The View" needs conservative heavyweights.

Mike, I think that about Hasselbeck as well. She's nice, she's well-meaning, and she's on our side, but she's not in the same debate league as Rosie.

I think Elisabeth tries very hard, but she's just not aggressive enough. Rosie has turned into a bully.

Here's a shortcut to the Relevant Radio Audio Archives. You can listen to Fr. Thomas Loya's remarkable analysis of Rosie O'Donnell using "The Theology of the Body".

Click on "Morning Air Audio Archives", then go to Thursday, May 24th, 2007. I believe Fr. Loya was on the 2nd hour of the show.

The Audio Archives should be posted sometime on Friday.

I think that Rosie has become way too overly aggressive since her coming out, when its supposed to make you feel better. However, I think Elizabeth Hasselback can be too much of a tight wad sometimes as well.

JK, astute observation on Rosie.

Back when she had her own show she was great; enthusiastic and fun and all that. But she has turned too serious. Its great to have a cause (or causes) but you don't need to wear them on your sleeve neverendedly.

Posted by: JK at May 24, 2007 10:50 PM

It goes for both of them. They both need to lighten up a little. Its the View, not Hannity & Colmes. We don't need intense political debate from one person who used to sing showtunes and throw koosh balls on their show and another who used to tell people where they can find purses and belts that are on sale on their show.

Posted by: JK at May 24, 2007 10:53 PM

JK, you're right.
