Spam comments to my site have gotten out of hand this week for some reason. They've been coming in at a faster and faster rate, but suddenly I'm getting 500-1,000 a day. Bless her heart, moderator Bethany is trying to delete them and can't physically keep up.

I'm sorry to have to put the site in authentication mode, meaning you'll have to sign in before posting. When I do this, comments drop, and I hate that. That said, signing in should be a one time deal once every two weeks.
