Help make fight against Planned Parenthood's new mill national news
Live in the Midwest? Join me this Saturday from 9-11 a.m. at a pro-life rally at the site of the new Planned Parenthood abortion mill in Aurora, IL.
Eric Scheidler of Pro-Life Action League said in an email he hopes this rally will put the fight against this PP's new 22,000 sq. ft. mill on the national map. He hopes the crowd size will make it "historic." Let's do our part to make that so. From Eric....
As my father [Joe] said at the Community Meeting last week, the groundswell of opposition to PP is unlike anything he's ever seen. Everyone involved with this effort continues to be astonished at how much zeal there is to take action against PP.Every event has had triple the expected attendance! My e-mail list has grown threefold in just a week - and continues to expand....
And now we've got this big Pro-Life Rally taking place Saturday, 9-11 a.m., right out there at the new PP building. I'm expecting HUNDREDS of people. Several folks have mentioned to me today that they're praying for 1,000 pro-lifers to be there!
I'll be one. If you want to meet up, email me.
Park at Our Lady of Mercy Church at 801 S. Eola Dr., and catch a shuttled to the PP site. Here's a map.
Go to PLAL's site for details on the vigil.
Meanwhile, Eric reported today PP has applied for an occupancy permit. Eric is asking Aurora residents to tell city officials you want a public hearing at tonight's City Council meeting investigating how Gemini Development Corp.put up the PP building without anyone knowing it was going to be a mill.
I've posted talking points and phone numbers below.

Communications Director
Pro-Life Action League
Tel: 773-251-8792Pro-Life Action League,
6160 N Cicero Ave, Ste 600,
Chicago, IL 60646Dear Jill,
We've just received word that an occupancy permit may be issued any day -- possibly even TODAY -- for Planned Parenthood. That would mean they can start doing business whenever they want.
Right now our best chance to STOP this place form opening is to KEEP them from getting the occupancy permit.
Tonight the City Council is meeting. What we need to do is get them to call for PUBLIC HEARINGS on the permit process surrounding the Planned Parenthood building.
So if you live in Aurora, you need to call the Mayor and your Alderman RIGHT NOW. I've included a list of the Wards and Alderman at the bottom of this message, along with a link to a Ward Map.
Also call the two Aldermen-at-Large.If you can't figure out your Ward from the map, then call the City at 630-264-INFO and ask.
When you call, tell the mayor or alderman that you want them to call for a public hearing at tonight's City Council meeting into how Gemini Development Corporation put up this new building which we now know will be a Planned Parenthood center.
During your call DO NOT put the focus on abortion or any other moral issue. We want to WIN, and that means giving the City Council a reason they'll respond to for calling a public hearing. Sad but true, the moral issues won't do it.
Our talking points are these:
* "I'm upset that Planned Parenthood is moving into Aurora. I
don't want them here."
* Gemini Development Corporation deceived the city. They allowed
the City to believe a quiet medical facility would be coming
in, not a controversial Planned Parenthood clinic.
* The presence of a facility that performs abortion is bad for
property values in the Oakhust community.
* Women and girls have died at Planned Parenthood clinics
recently. We want to ensure our wives daughters are safe. That's our line with the Aldermen right now. Put the above points into your own words, and be brief and respectful.
PLEASE CALL THE MAYOR, YOUR ALDERMAN AND THE TWO ALDERMEN-AT-LARGE IMMEDIATELY.
Then, CALL three of your Aurora friends who won't get this e-mail and ask them to do the same. You can print out this e-mail and take to them, or forward it.
Yours urgently,
-- Eric

Posted by: Rosie at August 21, 2007 3:15 PMOh yeah - fight against women getting affordable health care - how commendable! Abortion makes up only a tiny percentage of the services offered by PP and PP has prevented more abortions by helping women obtain contraceptives than all the 'crisis pregnancy centers' in the country. I love for antichoicers to prove just how little women really mean to them and how their personal agenda is all they can focus on.
Posted by: TexasRed at August 21, 2007 4:00 PMHi Rosie,
I can't wait to hear about the rally! Please update everyone when you get home. I hope they make the numbers they are hoping for!!
Can you even imagine being a contractor furnishing one of these mills? I can only be sickened by the chatter amongst the facilitators that must take place while putting the "finishing touches" on this sick operation.
For example:
"OK Joe, go ahead and install the gigantic baby garbage disposal right here, I got the electrical lines in now." I upped the amperage just to make sure we don't blow a fuse.
"Great news people. We got the 10 suction machines in today. Let's get em ready, we open in one week."
"Joyce, great color choice for the procedure room floors, it will hide the blood stains and grime that usually builds up under the tables."
"Yes Sue, we did istall extra large outgoing plumbing pipes just as you ordered. We can't have another incident of pipes getting clogged up with you know, dead babies."
"We're definitely ahead of schedule. The sound-proof walls went in quite easily. Now there will be no need to worry about procedure room noises filtering out to the waiting room. We don't want to scare anyone into leaving."
I can't even imagine what the blue prints look like for this mill. Let's leave that for another day.

Can you explain then why PPs abortion rates went up 23% last year in the state of MN after they opened two feeder clinics in shopping malls??
The states abortion rates had been declining over the prior three years.
Also found this interesting tidbit about PP which doesn't really indicate that abortions is just a "tiny" percentage of services. It is a money maker for them.
"Clinic Income" is the biggest source of revenue, at $222.2 million. Abortion was by far Planned Parenthood's most common "surgical procedure," adding at least $54 million1 to PPFA's coffers - - thus accounting for nearly one-quarter (at a minimum) of PPFA's clinic income. [This is a very conservative figure, based on an average cost of $296 for first-trimester abortions only. We know PPFA clinics do later, more expensive abortions, but those figures are not readily available.]
Posted by: Sandy at August 21, 2007 4:15 PMAbortions were more readily available for women who wanted abortions. It doesn't mean anyone was coerced.
Posted by: JKeller at August 21, 2007 4:20 PMJK:
I believe PP garnered around 700 of the 750 additional abortions in the state after they opened these feeder clinics.
The several other abortion providers in the state split the rest. It's all about marketing and in the retail business, location location location.
It only makes sense. Say you own a bagel shop and want to sell more bagels. You open another couple locations around town to grow your business. More locations = More bagel sales = More money.
Hi Red. One could also argue that throwing Jews in furnaces was only one small "service" that the Nazis did; look at all the other services they provided http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nazi_architecture ! At this point, PP has directly killed (by their own numbers) over 4,000,000 babies. That's that. I don't care if an organization is on the brink of curing cancer and AIDS, if they kill babies, it isn't too hard to see why people would not welcome them into their town. God love you, Red.
Posted by: Bobby Bambino at August 21, 2007 4:30 PMYes, but they're benefitting from women who are actively seeking abortions. There's no underhanded agenda in that. It is what it is. More people I know would have had abortions if there were abortion clinics in my area.
Posted by: JKeller at August 21, 2007 4:36 PMIts like thinking no one in a certain area likes fried chicken and then a KFC opens and its successful. Maybe there were a lot of people who liked fried chicken, but just didn't have a place to get it.

"Yes, but they're benefitting from women who are actively seeking abortions. There's no underhanded agenda in that."
Do you even hear yourself??????
You just agreed they are reaping the benefits of opening new clinics. If women were "actively" seeking abortions, they would seek out another clinic in the city so your statement doesn't make sense.
So thank you. You just proved my point. If they were trying to lessen abortions they wouldn't open new clinics, and in of all places a shopping mall where they know they will attract young women.
Posted by: Sandy at August 21, 2007 4:50 PMI would assume you are talking about Minneapolis, which is a fairly large city. Not everyone would know where a PP is, if its not in their neighborhood or the area that they are familiar with. Many people go to the mall, they see that PP is represented there, then one day, oops the condom breaks, and they remember that there is a PP in the mall when normally they might not know where one is located.
As pro-choicers have countlessly and fruitlessly pointed out on this site, PP does more than just abortions. Putting one in a mall, where loads of teenage girls shop, will give the girls more access to contraceptives.
Posted by: JKeller at August 21, 2007 5:00 PMAny idiot can look in a phone book, internet or dial 411 to locate an abortion clinic. Please. They are not be that hard to find.
The same scenerio took place when they opened a clinic in a much smaller town one hour north of Minneapolis. How do you explain that one?
Oh, that's right. The KFC analogy.
Per JK:

Yes, they provide abortions, theres not some big cover-up for that.

Posted by: JKeller at August 21, 2007 5:14 PMThe cover up JK is that they claim they are trying to decreae the abortion rate. This proves they haven't done that. They increased the rate of abortions and added to their ever growing profits.

I think you mean au contraire, not eu. There is a difference. And having drooling idiots having hysterical temper tantrums on a building site is hardly desirable. I dont blame them for building the facility without a lot of publicity.

And this comes from what source?
Antichoicers want women to have no other choice than to continue unwanted pregnancies - they dont care if its what the woman wants. THEY know 'whats best' for her. And if a clinic which is going to offer low cost health care for women is being built which ALSO performs abortions then it shouldnt be allowed because its a lot more important to not ALLOW women to have abortions than for them to have health care they can afford. And you wonder why your attitude is viewed as misogynistic.
Posted by: TexasRed at August 21, 2007 7:16 PMI just got an email from Eric! Here it is...
------
Dear Pro-Lifers,
Wow! We've really got the momentum building here in our campaign to stop Planned Parenthood from opening up on September 18!
We had tons of press coverage of our big Rally last week, and the story has continued on the Letters pages and all over the pro-life press.
I really think we have the chance to break out nationally with this campaign. I'll tell you how in a minute, but first I need to make an urgent appeal.
We URGENTLY need prayer warriors to cover a whole lot of open Vigil ours this week.
Please visit the website right away and sign up if you possibly can. There are a few important holes in the schedule tomorrow (Tuesday) -- a couple in the early morning and several during the day.
We also have serious need for people to pray in the wee hours Wednesday morning, August 22. Please consider signing up. (We especially need men at night.) Thursday and Friday are in need too!
Here's the vigil calendar:
http://familiesagainstplannedparenthood.org/vigil.php
So far we've covered every hour since we started at 8 a.m. August 6. We're already in Day 12, so let's keep up the great record and cover all the rest of those hours -- especially the ones coming up tomorrow and the rest of this week.
Now to return to the reason I think we are on the verge of "going national" with our fight against Planned Parenthood. It's this: I think the big Rally we have planned at the PP site this Saturday is going to be HISTORIC.
As my father said at the Community Meeting last week, the groundswell of opposition to PP is unlike anything he's ever seen. Everyone involved with this effort continues to be astonished at how much zeal there is to take action against PP.
Every event has had triple the expected attendance! My e-mail list has grown threefold in just a week -- and continues to expand. Just today I sat in on a meeting of local teens who are planning a big youth event in a couple weeks. The movement keeps growing!
And now we've got this big Pro-Life Rally taking place Saturday, 9-11 a.m. right out there at the new PP building. I'm expecting HUNDREDS of people. Several folks have mentioned to me today that they're praying for 1,000 pro-lifers to be there!
And I think we could really do it! And if we do, there's NO WAY the cameras can stay away. Even if they ignore the press release we'll be sending out later this week, they'll have to show up if we have those kinds of numbers.
That's why I'm asking you right now to do everything you can, first of all, to be there yourself. You'll regret it if you're not there. Secondly, please forward this message to everyone you know. But don't stop there. Get on the phone. Call up your family and friends and beg them to come. Tell them this is a chance to be part of pro-life history!
If we can stop this place form opening September 18, we will be serving PP the biggest black eye they've ever gotten -- shutting them out of the "Abortion Fortress" of Aurora.
That would be the most galvanizing event for the pro-life movement in years. Possibly EVER.
But it won't be easy. It hasn't been easy. It's been very, very hard so far -- but not so hard that God's grace hasn't been enough.
God is watching us, I feel it in my soul. He has appointed this hour for us to work on His behalf for the sanctity of life and family.
How blessed we are to be called to this holy work! And right now, that means two things:
1. We need to fill those Vigil hours -- do what you can!
2. We need to have a MASSIVE presence out there on Saturday.
I know I can count on you to help spread the word about the Big Day on Saturday. And when you do, make sure you mention that we're going to be parking at Our Lady of Mercy parish, 801 S. Eola Rd., with a shuttle running back and forth from the Vigil site.
Here's a map to the church:
Make sure you tell folks to get there early. The shuttle will start running at 8:30 a.m.
See you then!
Yours for Life,
-- Eric

Here ya go. I was off by 2%. Sorry
Planned Parenthood performed more abortions than ever last year, increasing its business by 21 percent in a single year, the greatest increase of any provider. For the third year in a row, Planned Parenthood aborted more unborn babies than any other provider. Abortions rose by 700 in Minnesota last year; Planned Parenthood increased its abortions by 648 for a total of 3,660, capturing nearly all of the increase.
Wow, this is great news, I wish I could make it. Let's pray that this death mill doesn't open.

And your source for this information would be what? Youre saying there was an additional 700 abortions in Minnesota last year. You make the ASSUMPTION that these women somehow wouldnt have aborted if PP hadnt been there. Why? What are the unemployment rates for Minnesota? have they gone up? What about the cost of living? has that gone up? And what about all the women who got medical care from PP which had nothing to do with abortion? Laura posted statistics which show that abortion makes up only 3% of the services PP provides. You have no problem with denying 97 women medical care they need because YOU dont approve 3 women having an abortion. And your argument is all about YOU - which is typical of antichoicers.
Sandy,
"Can you even imagine being a contractor furnishing one of these mills?"
No I really can't:) Yuck!
Tex,
The name calling is getting really old and it's abusive in a sense, make a point or something unless you just like to abuse people instead.

The abortion stats are required by the state. You can easily find these stats via many sources and see the breakdowns of abortion by provider amongst several other catagories.
The unemployment rate is very low in MN. The cost of living has not changed.
Where did Laura get her info? No doubt from some biased source.
And finally no, this agrument has nothing to do with me. It is about the senseless killing of the unborn who need someone to speak for "them".
"You" as a pro-choicer make it all about "you".
"You got pregnant, but "you" don't want to take the responsibility for your own actions. It's never about anyone else other than "you".

Just a few more comments for TR:
One of...
"you" decided to hook up with some guy for a night of "you" fun.
"you" decide to have unprotected sex, or at least half of "you" claim to be using BC, but "you" are too lazy to use it consistently.
"you" (surprise surprise) get pregnant. "you" decide "you" are too selfish to take responsibility for the "you" night of fun and "you" decide to get rid of the problem so "you" can get on with your life as usual.
Pro-choice is always about "you".

Yes, my life choices are all about me, just as your choices are all about you.
Isn't America GREAT!
Its amazing to see how the community in Aurora is organizing against this sham attempt by Planned Parenthood to LITERALLY sneak into their community.
To add.....there have already been two arrests at the clinic, both of pro-aborts physically harassing the pro-lifers. More info posted on the Pro-Life Action Leage website (www.plal.org).

Posted by: Anonymous at August 21, 2007 10:59 PMOk, Jill, you really should not have said that. You let me know where you're going to be, and it's extremely close to where I live, so I have a chance to finally laugh at you in person.
I'll see you on Saturday. I will bring a lawn chair so I can sit and laugh at you. I will most likely bring friends so they can be entertained. I'll even bring some snacks, too!
Sorry, pal, but you're messing around on my turf and you put it on the internet, which is the exact wrong place to post that info. This is not a threat. This is not a violent gesture at all. I've given up my violent ways, and I advocate peace before violence. I'm still pretty sore about the way the people at the Gay Pride parade were treating my homosexual friends, and even though I don't speak with her anymore, I'm still pretty ticked that some pro-lifer hocked a loogie on Erin. That's not polite, nor is it very becoming, and you're calling us the trogolodytes? Please. I've seen more brutish people at wrestling tournaments and during hunting season.
You can plan on seeing this skinhead there. Hell, I'll make it easy for you to find me. I'm 6'2", short brown hair with a chinstrap beard, blue jeans, oxblood Doc Marten boots, a black belt with a Dropkick Murphys belt buckle, and most likely a plain white t-shirt with something scrawled on it in black marker. Oh, and I'll be wearing a tan fedora, and possibly a brown leather bomber jacket in case it rains. Look for me, come talk to me. I promise I'll be civil and polite, but it would be nice to talk to you in person, where you can't hide behind your keyboard. Who knows? Maybe you'll even like me, or find that I'm not half-bad.

TexasRed, you're right that it DOES point out how stupid the people are who oppose giving women any choice other than abortion. How stupid it is to try to excuse slaying the innocent on the grounds that he killing is just a small percentage of the evil doer's activity.
Posted by: Christina at August 22, 2007 5:32 AMTexas Red, you said, "So youre harboring the demented deranged delusion that anyone who is pro choice hates babies and wants them to die?"
No. I said that you only SYMPATHIZE with women who hate babies and want them to die. You do not sympathize with women who want their babies to live, or you'd be opening CPCs the way prolifers are.
Posted by: Christina at August 22, 2007 5:34 AMLaura and Texas Red are the worst! They are anti choice. That means: have an abortion for all they care. Abortion is your only option. I'm willing to bet they've both had abortions. I'll also bet they don't have many friends.
Posted by: Heather at August 22, 2007 7:16 AMTR, I asked you if you would be okay with someone keeping her child instead of aborting it. You started out answering with your usual insults. Therefore, I'm going to take that as a "NO"!
Posted by: Heather at August 22, 2007 7:21 AMHeather,
I think she was just trying to tell you it was a stupid question. Of course pro choicers also support the choice of keeping the child. If you want Laura and TexasRed to treat you with the respect you believe you deserve and engage in rational debates with you, you have to rise above it instead of making unfounded claims like "you're for aborting everyone" and "I bet you've both had abortions" and "I bet you don't have many friends". You have to try to be the bigger person.
TexasRed,
These people here are all nice people (even Jasper), and they really do mean well. These are not the kind of people who are pro life because they like to subjugate women, they really do care deeply about babies. When you come in on the defensive though, they will throw every pro choice stereotype they know at you, as you are putting them on the defensive too. "Retract your claws" a bit and I promise that you will be able to present your views (without insults) and be given a similarly non-insult filled reply.

Sandy's comment on how PP's "Clinic income" is their biggest source of revenue is correct, however, your numbers are not correct.
According to PP's annual report (which you can find on Planned Parenthood's own website), PP claims that their clinic income for the past year has been $345 million. Also they note that there were 264,943 abortions done. According to STOPP survey of PP indicates that the average cost for a first trimester abortion would be around $425. Thus, PP is making $112 million in abortion income, which is about 1/3 of PP CLINIC INCOME.
Visit STOPP's website at: http://www.all.org/stopp/

Abortion was by far Planned Parenthood's most common "surgical procedure," adding at least $54 million1 to PPFA's coffers - - thus accounting for nearly one-quarter (at a minimum) of PPFA's clinic income. [This is a very conservative figure, based on an average cost of $296 for first-trimester abortions only. We know PPFA clinics do later, more expensive abortions, but those figures are not readily available.]

Let's also not forget that PP received $305.3 million from our own pockets in Government tax dollars. You can find this on the Form 990 that each non-profit organization has to fill out and is available for the public to view. STOP PLANNED PARENTHOOD TAX FUNDING by signing this petition:

Dan,
This is kind of strange when you have to repeat that you will not be violent.

TR, 7:16p, said: "And you wonder why your attitude is viewed as misogynistic."
Ah, TR, how nice of you to illustrate my column today.
And Danny, thank you for quelling my fears that you might hit me or something.
Thank you also for going into such detail on what you'll be wearing, a Queer Eye for the Straight Guy approach to style, I see. I imagine you bouncing down the sidewalk to a hip hop beat, like a John Travolta in Saturday Night Fever redux.
Me? I don't know what I'll be wearing yet. I'm too busy. But I do know I'll be holding a huge graphic sign if there is one available. You're welcome to look for me.
And don't forget, we're talking SATURDAY morning. For you to dress in such detail might force you go get up at 6:00 a.m. for the 9:00 a.m. event. You sure about this?
Ah, but I do admire your dedication to abortion, Danny. Congratulations for that.
Posted by: Jill Stanek at August 22, 2007 9:37 AMThanks statsgirl for the updated numbers on PP.
Looks like their revenue on abortion just keeps growing both by numbers and percentiles. So much for their dedication to decreasing abortions.
Per Phil:
"To add.....there have already been two arrests at the clinic, both of pro-aborts physically harassing the pro-lifers. More info posted on the Pro-Life Action Leage website" (www.plal.org).
Danny,
Any commment on Phil's post. I know you are peaceful.
Thanks statsgirl for the updated numbers on PP.
Looks like their revenue on abortion just keeps growing.

You have a problem with someone receiving compensation for services? How long have you been a socialist? I think it's fabulous that your physician has taken a vow of poverty and refuses to accept all that filthy lucre.
Posted by: Laura at August 22, 2007 10:14 AMJKellar, You've got nerve! You and the Texas TROLL!
Posted by: Heather at August 22, 2007 11:26 AMDanny, why are you being so mean to Jill? We can all see you have a My Space by clicking on your name. You are a good looking guy. Why are you so hostile?
Posted by: Heather at August 22, 2007 11:54 AMJKellar, please forgive me. I read your post wrong.
Posted by: Heather at August 22, 2007 11:57 AMLaura,
Try to follow along.
I am far from a socialist. If you read the post correctly you would see I was responding to the false statement that abortions are a tiny fraction of what PP does, which proves they are a huge money maker.
BTW, Yes I do have a problem with someone receiving compensation for abortion services, especially since we live in a country where I am forced to pay for these murders with my own tax dollars because women are too lazy to prevent a pregnancy in the first place.
SANDY, YEEEESSSS!!!!

Sorry, pal, but you're messing around on my turf and you put it on the internet, which is the exact wrong place to post that info.
This is not a threat.
If it's not intended to be a threat (which no one would have assumed at all, had you not posted the third paragraph), then why is it a "mistake" for Jill to post where she's going to be, and for you to show up? Why do you assume she doesn't want you there?
And why must you defend yourself against something Jill never accused you of? No one would have ever accused you of being violent, but then you go and suggest it... And then you go and say three separate times that you are not going to be violent, as though someone had said that you were going to be.
Bethany,
I love the animation!!
Love the comments!
I have another question for Dan. Aren't you on Erin's turf here on this site? Didn't you promise her you would stay off her "turf"? You obviously are scamming this sight in order for you to pick up this info and use it to advance your agenda with Jill.
Doesn't Erin care anymore that you are posting here?? Just curious.
Just curious.
Danny, Jill and Rosie,
I'll be there too...this might actually be fun. If the reason we are all going there wasn't dead serious. At least no children will be dying yet...
Posted by: mk at August 22, 2007 4:28 PMBethany,

Thanks! I'm a smiley addict, I think. :)
*sound of buzzer*
TexasRed loses a point for obnoxious insult...
What an incredibly stupid invention. But stupid people do tend to make stupid assumptions. Why am I not surprised? Where did you come up with the imbecilic delusion that Id have any problem at all with a woman who is happy to continue her pregnancy?
Pssst...you forgot "moron" and "idiot"...
Just sayin...
Posted by: mk at August 22, 2007 4:36 PMTex,
Do you have any children??
Tex,
BTW, yesterday you called someone on anther thread who implied that abortion clinics give low dose birth control. Please read this testimony from Joan Appleton, former abortion worker. Do you think she is an idiot????
"I was issuing birth control pills after an abortion, and this is where I learned the real business and the real work of the abortion industry.
I would be able to counsel a woman and say, "Alright, we don't want you to have to go through this procedure again. We want to get you started on birth control pills. We'll give you your first packet free." We could do this because the pharmaceutical companies gave it to us free. It's good marketing. So we could distribute one pack free and write a prescription for five months worth. Everybody makes out.
If the birth control pill doesn't work for you this time, it may be that it's a little too strong. But don't worry, come on back because there's one that's a little lower dose.
Now the pharmaceutical companies and Planned Parenthood and the abortion industry were not stupid. They knew that the less dose of estrogen in those pills, the more likely it was they were going to fail. But you don't have to worry. We can bring you right back here for another abortion.
They even used percentages, by the way. Thirty percent failure rate, because were going to use the real low estrogen pill. So that means thirty percent will come back. And if we forget to tell you, by the way, that if you get the flu and have to be put on antibiotics, the chemical reaction between the birth control pill and the antibiotic renders the birth control pill worthless, and totally ineffective, so we have another twenty percent. Thank you, come back around.
Posted by: Sandy at August 22, 2007 4:45 PMTexas,
*SOUND OF BUZZER*
Oh look, you did use idiot...twice!
1 point off for inability to insult with fresh material...
You could try to make that argument if you were a complete and total idiot. Obviously you did.
Thank you for coming up with yet another argument which make anti choicers look like idiots
Posted by: mk at August 22, 2007 4:46 PMTex,
Sorry the first sentence should have read:
you called someone an idiot on another thread......
Texas,
*SOUND OF BUZZER*
1 More point off for lack of originality...really, Tex, three "idiots" in one day?
Pssssst....here, this might help...
Main Entry: idiot
Part of Speech: noun
Definition: stupid
Synonyms: ass, blockhead, boob, booby, cretin, dimwit, donkey, dork, dumb ox, dumbbell, dunce, dunderhead, fool, halfwit, ignoramus, imbecile, jackass, jerk, kook*, meathead, mental defective, moron, nincompoop, ninny*, nitwit, pinhead*, pointy head, simpleton, stupid, tomfool, twit*, yo-yo
I would like to add a comment:
It is interesting that Tex likes to call pro-lifers idiots and stupid. What is idiotic and stupid is that pro-choicers will run out and charge up several hundred dollars for a procedure to kill their unwanted baby when all it would have taken to prevent an unwanted pregnancy is a 50 cent condom.
50 cent condom. (Use two if you have to)
30 seconds or less to put it on.
Preventing an unwanted pregnancy" Priceless
Posted by: Sandy at August 22, 2007 5:21 PMHey MK and Rosie, maybe we can meet?
Posted by: Jill Stanek at August 22, 2007 5:28 PMJill, I want to see pictures if any of you guys meet!!
Posted by: Bethany at August 22, 2007 5:44 PMMk, Sandy, believe me....if she hasn't improved her vocabulary in 5 years, I doubt she will do so now. lol
"And don't forget, we're talking SATURDAY morning. For you to dress in such detail might force you go get up at 6:00 a.m. for the 9:00 a.m. event. You sure about this?"
Considering I wake up at 3 AM for doing real work that involves getting dirty and not hiding behind a keyboard, yeah, you can count on me and some local pro-choicers being there. Also, it doesn't take me long to dress at all. I dress like this almost every day, thank you very much. I'm not a metrosexual, nor do I take hours to preen myself perfect. Don't cheapen me like that. Most likely at 6 AM, I'll be in the parking lot of the clinic with a thermos of coffee, a pack of smokes, and some friends to keep me company.
"Dan,
This is kind of strange when you have to repeat that you will not be violent."
I don't want everyone thinking I'm going to jump someone just because they're an ignorant fool. I figured clarification is key.
"Thank you also for going into such detail on what you'll be wearing, a Queer Eye for the Straight Guy approach to style, I see."
Haha, way to make a gay joke. Next, you're going to tell me I'm going to hell because I believe that two men or two women should have the same right to happiness as a man and a woman. Also, I figured that when the skinhead started pointing and laughing at ya, you might want to know who it was before getting in their face. Besides, I just saved you the trouble of having to search me out to call me a baby-killer.
"Danny, why are you being so mean to Jill? Why are you so hostile?"
Territory and comments she made in the past, my friend. I feel I have the right to defend my pride and honor in a way that doesn't involve a keyboard. Plus, not many pro-choicers know about this rally, so I'm rallying my troops to protest their protest. There's nothing saying I can't do that, is there? We're not violent, nor are we going to harass anyone. We just figured we'd support our cause as well.
PS The good-looking flattery thing isn't really helping anyone's case. I'm done dealing with women and love for the time being, and comments like that do nothing but dredge up bad memories.
"I have another question for Dan. Aren't you on Erin's turf here on this site? Didn't you promise her you would stay off her "turf"? 1. I'm not scamming the site. I don't really read up here anymore, but when I saw the article in my local newspaper about the Aurora Clinic and my grandparents, who live in Aurora, started talking about it, I figured I'd check back here to see what ol' Jill was up to, and I got more than I expected. Now, I have a chance to meet some of you face to face, and at least prove I'm not just a beast of burden.
2. As for Erin, I withdrew those promises when it was decided that the olive branch was to be rejected. I see no point in letting a woman that I have no ties to control what I do and when I do it. For the most part, I haven't posted here, nor have I really checked in on this site. I've found more interesting things to occupy my time with. So, if I'm treading on her "turf", then so be it. It's the internet. Besides, no one looks like a bad@$$ behind a keyboard.
Any more questions for the Dan?
Danny, why do you think everyone here is against you? Is this really anger at Erin?
Posted by: Heather at August 22, 2007 6:52 PMNo, I just answered all the questions in one lump because I don't honestly have a lot of time to answer each one individually. I actually have a liking for most of you. The only person who really earns my ire is Jill, and considering what she's said to me in the past, I've got my reasons for holding my grudge.
Aside from that, I really don't bear ill will towards any of you.
By the way, I'm sorry if I seem a little mean today. I'm having a bad day, and a three-day lack of sleep isn't helping my mood much.
Peace
Love
Unity
And no, I'm not angry at Erin. Seriously. Can everyone please stop asking that? The woman doesn't control my life, how I live it, or what I do with it!
It's starting to get annoying. I've moved on. Let it go.
Posted by: Danny at August 22, 2007 7:20 PMFor an ex-abortionist/mill owner's testimony, go to www.priestsforlife.org/testimony/everett.htm
Planned Parenthood's 'counselors' are actually carefully trained salespersons, with one product - abortion. They're taught the hard-sell, to exploit every possible fear a client could raise, because if they lose the sale and she walks, they don't get her money.
Carol Everett, a former abortionist and mill-owner, reveals how abortion mill owners drum up business by going into schools with K-12 'sex ed' courses, first alienating kids from their parents, then encouraging them to become sexually active, to go on low-dose birth control pills doomed to fail because they have to be taken at the exact same time every day (what teenager does anything with that kind of regularity?), and then channel them into their mills to 'take care of the problem.'
Planned Parenthood's goal is 3-5 abortions for each girl before her 18th birthday. That's the main 'service' they provide, that's where they make their money.
They make a killing by killing.

Danny, from the little I know of Erin from her posting messages, you could do a lot worse than having her in control.
