All the talk at the White House last night was of Jenna Bush's phone call to her dad while taping the Ellen DeGeneres show yesterday.

Not mention Bush's apparent support of homosexuality by his voice appearance on a homosexual's talk show. Next he'll be supporting same sex union!

I'm very confused... does Jill hate "homos"? I can't believe daddy let his little girl appear on a "homos" TV show. Chances are he is mad at "his little princess" and she probably will get a strict talkin to.

Jill is a Christian. She doesn't hate anyone. But you know homosexuality and abortion go hand in hand. Jenna is clearing turning gay and will undoubtedly be having an abortion very soon. Because pregnancy is so prevalent among gays dontcha know. No wait! Gay's have abortions whether they are pregnant or not because abortion is immoral and gays like to do immoral things.

The baby has arrived!!! :D

(However, even my boyfriend is low on pictures because he wasn't home all day to call and ask about his sister and niece. I will update you all soon...heck, I don't even know the baby's name yet! She said she'd know what to name her when she saw her.)

Jm, I think that your answer pretty much lies in the old saying, "love the sinner, hate the sin". Christians don't hate homosexual people. We hate the homosexual lifestyle they choose to be a part of.

I think the reason you see it the way you do is because you actually do believe that homosexuals are born that way, and that their homosexual lifestyle is something they cannot help.

Many of us have beliefs that are totally different. Many of us believe that while a person can have a tendency towards homosexual behavior, it isn't something they can't help...just like someone could have a tendency towards wanting to cheat on their spouse, but they most certainly can choose not to do so...if they choose to be adulterous, it's not something they "couldn't help".

Therefore, the action that the person is committing by being a homosexual, is absolutely wrong to us, just as the action of adultery is absolutely wrong to us.

However, we don't hate people who are adulterous, and we don't hate people who are homosexuals..no matter how much we may hate the behavior.

Does that clear it up a little, because I just want you to understand.

If we hated homosexuals, we would be hypocrites. Why would we hate a sinner for sinning, when we are sinners also?

We love the people who choose to be homosexual. We however strongly disagree with certain lifestyle choices, especially when they are promoted in public, in such shocking ways (as in the post below).
