In Hodari's dumpster

hodari%20upi.jpgEveryone certainly remembers Alberto Hodari, the MI abortionist caught on videotape at Wayne State University 4 months ago bragging that he lies to patients, yadda yadda.

Well, Alberto is lying to authorities now.

I spoke with Dr. Monica Miller within the hour, one of the pro-lifers mentioned in the following Detroit News story who has been scavenging a dumpster at one of Hodari's 6 mills for the past month.

Monica said she would get me photos and a copy of her police report tomorrow.

Monica has been a pro-life activist since the 80s and has recovered whole aborted babies from dumpsters. I can't believe an abortionist would still be so stupid....

Monica told me, "Jill, I've never seen so many patient records in my life. This was the motherload of patient records." So much for patient confidentiality. There were names, dates, SSNs, addresses, and phone numbers in that dumpster.

There were also baby parts - hands, spines, etc.

The EPA and police are on the scene right now. Here's the developing story:

LATHRUP VILLAGE - Police and state officials called in hazardous waste crews Monday to haul away blood-soaked medical waste found in the Dumpster outside of WomanCare, an abortion provider that operates six mid-Michigan clinics.

Alberto Hodari, the clinic's medical director, blamed the apparent improper disposal of materials on a new staff member.

Abortion foes say they have searched the clinic's garbage for a month and found improperly disposed medical waste, along with medical documents that should have been shredded. They informed Lathrup Village police, who then launched the investigation.

"It's absolutely despicable," said Monica Miller of Citizens for a Pro-Life Society, the group that claims to have found the improper dumping.

Hodari scoffed at the notion that the group had found medical waste in his Dumpster in Lathrup Village or any of the garbage receptacles at the five other WomanCare clinics....

"It's a regulatory issue and possibly a civil issue, but this ought to be a felony," said Lathrup Village Police Sgt. Vincent Lynch. "This is a neighborhood. Animals could get into the Dumpster they could drag the stuff around and you could end up with contamination as a public health issue far beyond the radius of the Dumpster. We have greater law enforcement for people who throw things outside the window of their car."...

AHH! I just saw this on a pro-choice board!

Two wrongs don't make a right.

They were both wrong.

Just put up excerpts from the report made to the police about Hodari. For those with a gentle stomach, you have been warned.

What happens if someone gets bitten by a rabid raccoon while dumpster diving? They should have informed the proper authorities first.

Posted by: Jess at March 10, 2008 4:30 PM

That's disgusting.

We pay a MINT at the 'ol horsepital to have our biohazardous waste and sharps hauled away. What they did was so stupid. (Not to mention that I'd FREAK if strangers had access to my medical records...)

Two of the local outpatient surgical centers were busted doing the same thing. Kids skating in the parking lot found vials of blood and took them home to show their parents. It cost the owners of the clinics tens of thousands of dollars.

That being said, would you allow people who enjoy dumpster-diving at a medical clinic to touch your food? I thing I'll skip the "Citizens for a Pro-Life Society" potluck and barbeque this year...

Yeah what they did was really wrong.

I see Hodari is going with the "rogue employee" defense.

Posted by: Carrie at March 10, 2008 4:59 PM

I wondered if the future baby-killers of America are going to bring ol' Hodari back to give another speech?

Posted by: Jacqueline at March 10, 2008 5:08 PM

The medical community generally holds abortionists in very low regard. After reading yet another sad story of this nature--they seem to come along like clockwork--it is no wonder that they are looked down upon. Abortion is a seamy industry. Yet, at the same time, some of the blame for this has to fall on those who resist stronger regulations on abortion facilities.

Dumpstering is fun! You wouldn't believe the things I've gotten from the garbage...

Posted by: Phil at March 10, 2008 5:17 PM

I am a dumpster diver myself. Not so sure I am ready to do it at a mill though.

This is funny.

As a politically incorrect side note, if you go dumpster diving in the back of entertainment stores sometimes you can find naughty magazines.

Hey Jaque,
No doubt. I wonder what the title of his key note would be.......

How to have sex with your patients when they're under anethesia?

How to save money on paperwork and medical waste pick-up?

Aside from the tragedy of the babies found in the dumpster, it will be interesting to see what the explaination is of the used condoms.

Once again, it is up to the pro-lifers to monitor this type of behavior that goes completely ignored by the pro-aborts.

I also enjoy finding various trash items and taking them home with me. I usually only take home things I find on the side walks outside of peoples home before large pickup day. I wouldn't go through a dumpster though. The best thing I found? A slightly warped rocking chair. Yay!

Hal,
But where bilking hundreds of millions of dollars from taxpayers is tolerated.

Actually Hal, I bet the good pro-lifers on this site could pull up many tidbits just like this one about PP. Wouldn't take long......
Just for starters:
How about the woman who died last year because PP shoved lamanaria sticks up her already infected vagina?

I still say they had a company spiff going and the clinic with the most abortions that week got tickets to a rodeo or something.

X-posted to another blog featuring this article:

Abortion foes say they have searched the clinic's garbage for a month and found improperly disposed medical waste, along with medical documents that should have been shredded.

I hope the pro-lifers used Universal Precautions and protective gear, seeing as law enforcment felt they needed to call in hazardous waste crews to remove the waste.

Human tissue should be disposed of either by incineration, cremation, cemetery burial or grinding and flushing through a sanitary sewer, according to Robert McCann, spokesman for the Michigan Department of Environmental Quality.

*Gag*, so it's proper for abortion clinics to use garbage disposals to grind up and then flush the fetuses? I personally rather see inceration used for medical waste then for it to go into and potentially contaminate our water system. I asked my husband, who worked at a city waste-water treatment plant. He said after any waste disolves into the water, the filters should catch any solid waste, and the water is thoroughly treated by several means, which should remove any potential contaminates.

If one looked at this as an isolated case, one probably wouldn't think of this as a big issue, however this guy has troubled past.

Jess, I agree that they should have informed the proper authorities first, but on the other hand, it's unlikely they'd run into raccoons as racoons are nocturnal and probably make dens under homes and storage sheds.

"amen Bobby, Chaplet of Divine Mercy, EWTN, very relaxing..."

Indeed. Remember when we got to sing it when Father Corapi was in Lowell? We've sung it together, and didn't even know it.

Why do all abortionists look like perverted criminals? Oh, I forgot. They are perverted criminals. I wonder how many patients this abortionist has raped or molested.

It's just so stomach churning. I still can't believe that a woman could do this to her child.

It's appalling that the (potential) charges of disposing of medical records with patient information on them carries more weight than the fact that babies were murdered and disposed of right along with these "sacred documents" which identify the mothers who chose such an end to their children's lives.

I applaud this woman for wanting to give these babies lives some dignity and recognition.

Yes, dumpsters can reveal the most interesting things about the child-killing cartel. I recall one dive that turned up minutes from a PP staff meeting recording a discussion of whether or not the mill could save money by not requiring the abortionist to change gloves between patients. The report stated clearly that it was decided that no glove change was necessary, since the gloves were for the protection of the abortionist, not the patient.

And of course the hard hearted baby killer lovers on this
thread are all worried that someone dumpster dove - not
that innocent little babies were sliced and diced and
thrown away, like garbage.

Monsters!
