Butterfly baby

butterfly 6.jpg

Just received this email:

Hi Jill,

My wife is in tears. As a professional photographer she captured the attached pictures a couple of years ago....

The little girl was adopted from Russia, where the abortion rate is astronomical.

God is good and we believe that he had a greater plan and purpose for her.

When my wife heard the song Butterfly played from your site, she cried out her name, then she just cried.

You have her permission to post these to go along with your post. She owns the copyright. (And no - I didn't photoshop the butterfly in - that's really happening!)

Oh man how sweet.

I wish I had the gift of being a good photographer and capturing such beautiful pictures.

Oh Bah Humbug, that's not sweet!

April Fools.

That's sweet as all get-out, as they say.

What beautiful pictures!

What an astronomically fortunate girl to have been adopted by that couple.

What a gorgeous "choice" she didn't turn out to be!

May I ask the kind gentleman how did they go about adopting precious little "Butterfly"? Did they have to go to Russia and pick? How does it work?

Posted by: carder at April 1, 2008 7:53 PM

Oh my goodness, she looks like Tabitha!

This picture should be forwarded to the group that sings the song...what a great Album Cover. Between the song and this story, a lot of hearts could be touched and melted!

Sooooooo sweet!

Is there a website for adopting Russian or eastern European girls, like maybe a nice 18 year old from Poland?

Posted by: Elmos Uzi at April 2, 2008 1:34 PM

Elmos you are a disgusting.

jasper's quote of the day
It is my sincere hope that the same bishops who have rightly taken Speaker Pelosi to task over her stupidity do the same for Senator Biden.

I also hope that his Bishop in DE invites him to a meeting to discuss abortion and his reception of communion. Let Senator Biden spend the next two weeks defending the indefensible.
