New poll/Old poll

I have a new poll question up:

How recently have you contacted an elected official about a pro-life or pro-abortion issue?

Here are the results of last week's poll, almost evenly divided....

Here were your votes. (There was only 1 international vote, so I'm not posting that map. Sorry, Australia!) Click to enlarge to find your own brightly colored flag...

As always, make comments to either this or last week's poll here, not on the Vizu website.

I filled out Anti FOCA Postcards in January and recently received a reply letter from my HoR Rep, but nothing yet from my senators. My HoR Rep is Wonderful! He's a Catholic and father to five little girls.

I have contact both senators and my house rep in DC as well as ALL of the state legislators in South Dakota regarding pro-life legislation within the last two weeks or so. I recently saw a story about the #TCOT Tea Parties where a woman has her DC delegation phone numbers programmed into her cell phone. I am going to do that today. Everybody should do that today - makes it much easier to follow through good intentions, and you can make contact on the fly, like when you hear somebody on talk radio bring up a valid issue you want to share with your delegation. Everything is moving fast these days, and we have to keep up. You can follow me on twitter @lafcity

You have got to love the internet. I e-mail my 2 senators and representative quite frequenty on all life issues. I have had no luck in calling them, however. I always get a busy signal. I think I have been using a generic number for congress.
