Announcing SBA List's 1st pro-life video contest

The Susan B. Anthony List has launched its 1st pro-life video contest, entitled Lia's Challenge, named for 12-year-old Lia Mills who wrote and recorded a now well-known pro-life speech last year.

This contest will encourage the next generation of pro-life leaders to use their minds, hearts, and talents to advance the culture of life. Videos will be posted on YouTube.

Two entrants will win, each receiving a $1000 scholarship! C'mon, finals are over. Start knocking off next year's tuition!

Deadline to enter is May 22. Download a promotional flyer here.

Thanks for the heads-up, Jill! I just sent an email to the "Life Office" at my parish. I'm hoping they'll pass it on to all of the Catholic Schools in the diocese.

That's wonderful. It's especially encouraging to me to hear of young people who are pro life. They have only known a culture that accepts abortion and of course legalized it long ago. I'm very grateful to see youth who do not agree with this.

Anyone want to wager on how long it will take the guys at U-Tube to ban the video? ("Potential 10 year old terrorists", ya know?)
