Breaking News: Lila Rose exposes 7th Planned Parenthood in undercover sting

UPDATE, 7/1, 6:30p: Do you trust 'em? Surrrre. According to CBS42.com, PP plans its own internal audit in the wake of the release of Lila's undercover video. Here's PP's statement:

Planned Parenthood of Alabama provides high quality health care and takes any allegation of this nature very seriously. An essential part of our mission is to protect teens, and to make sure that they get the counseling and medical care they need. We will conduct an internal, fact-based review to ensure that all our high standards of care have been met. PP of AL is committed to following all laws, and regularly makes reports to law enforcement officials. The health and safety of our patients is our top priority and we know that parents trust their teens to get accurate information and quality care at PP health centers. We will continue to work exceptionally hard to maintain that trust.

Sarah Palin smeared again... and again

The Boston Herald reported June 24 on yet another Sarah Palin smear:

kerry joking palin.jpg

U.S. Sen. John Kerry must have been channeling his inner [David] Letterman yesterday.

The Bay State senator was telling a group of business and civic leaders in town at his invitation about the "bizarre'' tale of how SC Gov. Mark Sanford had "disappeared for 4 days'' and claimed to be hiking along the Appalachian Trail, but no one was really certain of his whereabouts.

"Too bad,'' Kerry said, "if a governor had to go missing it couldn't have been the governor of AK. You know, Sarah Palin.''

The Democratic-centric crowd laughed....

Obama promotes euthanasia in healthcare plan

From the LA Times, June 25:

Swedish parents keep child's gender secret

The Local reported June 23 on Swedish parents who are keeping their 2-year-old's gender a secret. They're raising a not very funny Saturday Night Live Pat.

pat snl.jpgThe child was called "Pop" for the interview with parents, but is not the child's real name:

Pop's parents, both 24, made a decision when their baby was born to keep Pop's sex a secret. Aside from a select few - those who have changed the child's diaper - nobody knows Pop's gender; if anyone enquires, Pop's parents simply say they don't disclose this information.

In an interview with newspaper Svenska Dagbladet in March, the parents were quoted saying their decision was rooted in the feminist philosophy that gender is a social construction....

    Weekend question 6-27/28-09

weekend question.jpgHeather Corinna at RH Reality Check wrote on June 25:

The murder of abortion provider Dr. George Tiller on May 31st has resulted in a lot of conversation about abortion. It's a topic frequently hushed, or spoken about more around its politics than the actual procedure, the experience itself and the real women who have abortions. So this increased discussion is certainly something potentially positive happening because of something horribly tragic. More discussion around anything which is or may be treated as unspeakable is always a good thing.

    Two questions:

Do you agree that the national conversation about abortion after the death of late-term abortionist Tiller has been "a good thing" for pro-aborts?

And Corinna apparently would rather talk about the "actual procedure, the experience itself and the real women who have abortions" than leave the topic "hushed." Do you agree conversations about those 3 aspects of abortion would be helpful to its acceptance?

Jackson kids potentially in custody contract quagmire

UPDATE, 10:15a: Good blog post, "Three thoughts on Michael Jackson," by Michael Tomasky of The Guardian.

    [HT: friend Arlene]
    _______________

Yesterday two icons, Farrah Fawcett and Michael Jackson, died.

Jackson's death, in particular, was a sobering reminder of Ecclesiastes 9:12, "Man does not know his time."

jackson and kids.jpgThis morning I watched a Fox News report explain that the custody of Jackson's three children, Prince Michael Joseph Jackson, Jr., 12, Paris Michael Katherine Jackson, 11 (both by ex-wife Debbie Rowe), and Prince Michael "Blanket" Jackson II, 7 (born via unknown surrogate), is up in the air.

At least three parties may try to lay claim: Jackson's mother Katherine, Rowe, and the nanny to Jackson's children, Grace Rwaramba (pictured below left). According to ABC News this morning:

"Michael's mother Katherine wants the kids," said Stacey Brown, co- author of Michael Jackson Behind the Mask and an old family friend. "But Michael always said he wants Grace, the nanny, to have them if something happened to him."...

EMILY's List: Promoting the opposite of what it is

EMILY's List is a PAC with 1 sole goal: Elect Democrat pro-abort women to Congress (click to enlarge):

    emilys list mission 2.jpg

That's all EMILY's List is about. That's all it does.

Which is why I found it strange when attending the EMILY's List reception at last year's Democrat convention that speakers - from EL prez Ellen Malcolm to Hillary to Michelle - barely alluded to the word "choice," never mind "abortion." In 1.5 hours of speeches, the topic about which everyone was in the room got no more than 3 minutes total.

I find this so totally strange. Imagine attending a pro-life banquet and having speakers talk about everything else under the sun. I'd think the organization had lost its way. I'd want my money back.

But pro-abortion organizations avoid the topic all the time! More than that, they pretend they're about the opposite of abortion.

Case in point. I got an email from Ellen yesterday bragging on one of EL's candidates Kirsten Gillibrand, who replaced Hillary as US senator from NY. She is supported, may I remind you, solely because she's a raving pro-abort.

Ellen put together a nice photo album for us of Kirsten's daily life. And here was the album cover...

  • National Right to Life Committee's Dave Andrusko on Barack Obama's Father's Day comments:
Obama has eloquently written of what he went through when abandoned by his own father, the price that he paid. Without the selfless involvement of his maternal grandparents, the young Barack Obama would never have had the advantages that made it possible for him someday to become President.

But the point of his essay in Parade--made over and over--is that fathers matter, and that they matter most of all when times are tough.

At the risk of stating the obvious, there are fewer more difficult times than when the father of the baby (often, but by no means always, not married to the mother) learns she is carrying their baby.

  • What's worse - attempting to cover up statutory rape or receiving training and support from conservative organizations? From his Alternet piece on Lila Rose, it appears Bill Berkowitz thinks the latter is worse. His research is also so flimsy, he appears to think Rose founded the Advocate (a pro-life student publication at UCLA) in the last couple of months.

New Stanek WND column, "Eight new pro-life films shine"

    WND%20logo.gif

Many excellent pro-life movies and documentaries have been recently released covering a wide spectrum of our issues. In fact, the movies seem to be coming so fast I have delayed posting this column several weeks to try to catch the latest. Even last week I read of one more but have to draw the line somewhere.

My star rating is out of four possible. Because of the volume, I am providing thumbnail reviews. Films are listed in alphabetical order....

    Come What May

    come what may.jpgStars: 2-1/2

Released Spring 2009. Dove-family approved. 93 minutes. Fiction.

Synopsis: Pro-life college law student argues against Roe v. Wade in "moot court" while pro-abortion mother argues against parental notification before US Supreme Court. Patrick Henry College student production (and school infomercial) - impressive in that regard but not up to Hollywood standards. Good information on Roe v. Wade decision; good love story role modeling. $10-15 online.

    Demographic Winter

    demographic winter.jpgStars: 4

Released Spring 2008. 56 minutes. Documentary.

Synopsis: Details the catastrophic social and economic consequences of the worldwide population decline. Sobering, must see - more than once. $18 online.

The follow-up to this movie, Demographic Bomb, was released June 20, but I only have seen a press release.

Lines That Divide: The Great Stem Cell Debate

    lines that divide.jpgStars: 4

Released June 2009. 57 minutes. Documentary.

Synopsis: First, I promise this film is not boring, making excellent use of movie clips and celebrity sound bites in combination with graphics and interviews of scientists on both sides of the debate. Covered are not only ethics but women's health as well as media, political and terminology obfuscation. Very current information provided. $20 online.

    Weekend question

weekend question.jpgThere has been a lot of talk about finding "common ground" on abortion since President Obama took office.

U.S. News & World Report reported June 16 that a policy plan on "common ground" suggestions from the White House's Office of Faith-Based and Neighborhood Partnerships may come this summer has both sides "jittery." The WH has sponsored a phone call and meetings with pro-life and pro-abortion groups toward that end.

The pro-abortion website RH Reality Check has established a "common ground" section featuring essays from both pro-abortion and pro-life writers. (The latter includes Kristen Day of Democrats for Life and Serrin Foster of Feminists for Life.)

On June 18 Jon Stewart conducted a fascinating 20-minute interview with Mike Huckabee on finding this "common ground." I have posted the video of the interview on page 2, which is another topic in and of itself. Stewart is featuring it on his website this weekend.

I note it is abortion supporters who are the ones reaching out to try to find "common ground."

My question this week is not what "common ground" would be, but why are abortion supporters feeling (or feigning) the need to find it?

Why isn't the Left decrying the Right for this possibility, since Weinman only did to cats what their fallen hero late-term abortionist George Tiller did to humans?

It's getting complicated, but I think the terrorist killer of the domestic cat terrorist killer would likely come from the Left.

I say it's getting complicated because the Left is definitively indefinitive in its branding of domestic terrorists these days....

    "I am Dr. Tiller"?

    by intern Heather B.

Think you're pro-choice? You've got nothing on the late Dr. George Tiller, the KS-based late-term abortionist who was shot to death on May 31 while serving as an usher at his Lutheran church in Wichita.

i am dr tiller logo.jpgGrief over Dr. Tiller's death has been shared by pro-choice activists and abortionists alike.

One website, IAmDrTiller.com, has even opened up a public forum to honor Tiller's supposedly noble and courageous work, recognizing him as a "reproductive healthcare provider" dedicated to "kindness, courtesy, justice, love, and respect" and an irreplaceable advocate of "mercy abortions," abortions performed 6 months into pregnancy.

i am dr tiller 1.jpgThe website features mementos from abortionists internationally, from Montana to Canada to Algeria, all who are pictured holding signs over their faces which read, "I am Dr. Tiller," followed by short memorials stating how and why they contribute to the legacy of the late-term abortionist.

The website is meant to inspire and encourage abortion providers to assume responsibility and pick up the forceps Tiller left behind.

i am dr tiller 4.jpgThus must be the wish of the "abortion care provider" who, along with her own, also submitted a photo of her "I am Dr. Tiller" daughter.

But even avid pro-choice advocates admit that Tiller's work with late-term abortions was extreme. As one Tiller fanatic, William Saletan chillingly observed:

You think marching or phone-banking makes you an activist. You know nothing. There's you, and then there are the people who work in the clinics. And then there are the people who use the forceps. And then there are the people who use the forceps nobody else will use. At the end of the line, there's George Tiller.
His shoes will be hard to fill, as made obvious by a recent announcement declaring the discontinuation of his clinic in KS.

What has been termed "a bittersweet moment" by some may be just the milestone needed to catapult the pro-life movement forward.

    Pro-lifers get death threats

Some behind-the-scenes information about the last 2 weeks follows in a June 16 article by Frank Walker at Pewsitter.com, June 1. During this time the Mod Squad has been on orange alert, greatly appreciated...

    prolifers targets.jpg

In the aftermath of the shooting of late-term abortionist, Dr. George Tiller, American pro-life leaders have been receiving death threats prompting round-the-clock protection from authorities.

Jill Stanek, vilified last week at MSNBC, is the IL nurse who exposed the practice of abandoning babies that survive abortions. She has tracked and reported on the career of Dr. Tiller for years at her blog.

When I asked her this week about her own safety in wake of the shooting, Stanek said that she, along with Troy Newman of Operation Rescue and Fr. Frank Pavone at Priests for Life, had been receiving credible threats from a "troubled man involved in the abortion industry."...

New Stanek WND column, "Abortion vs. cat 'murders'"

    WND%20logo.gif

... In April someone began mutilating and killing cats in 2 Miami-Dade neighborhoods. The outcry with demands to make it stop were instant.

Animal cruelty is despicable. Only sick people hurt and kill defenseless animals. That's how Jeffrey Dahmer got his start.

But knowing the same sorts of torturous acts are committed every day against human beings in at least 25 Miami area abortion clinics with no public protest makes me a little crazy. These would include... an abortion survivor who was suffocated in a plastic bag and thrown on the clinic roof for a week until he was so infested by maggots he couldn't be properly autopsied....

Mainstream media accounts attempting to humanize, dramatize and describe the cat killings in contrast to how they attempt to dehumanize, sanitize and obfuscate abortion make me a little crazy. Some excerpts:

  • "At a news conference... city and county leaders... reassured the community that the 'reign of terror' was over." (CBS)

  • "... the killing spree..." (KPLG)

  • "... [M]y heart goes out to those families who have lost their dear kitties 'cause I understand that pet owners feel very strongly about their little family members.... To see them so violated and so mutilated just defies all common sense and is painful for everyone involved. Thankfully... the terror has come to an end. And what of the perpetrator, depraved, demented, twisted." - Miami-Dade Commissioner Katy Sorenson (CBS)

  • New Zealand the latest to encounter sex-selection abortions

    by intern Andy M.

Thumbnail image for intelligendertest.jpgPro-life groups throughout New Zealand are voicing concern at the news that the American-designed IntelliGender test kit will be made available as soon as June 22. The kit can apparently be used from 8 weeks after conception and is already selling well in Australia, just a month after its introduction to the market there. It is sold for ~$125 without a prescription.

Of course, the question is - what's the rush? While some couples prefer to keep the gender of their child as a surprise, others like to find out early on. Some are curious - others simply want to start decorating baby's room in the appropriate colors and purchasing either pink or blue baby clothes.

But how many are likely to fork out $125 for 1 of these innocent reasons when they could have simply waited until the baby was 18 weeks and received a free government-funded ultrasound, as is offered in NZ?...

The backstory on Randall Terry's new organization

Randall Terry emerged as a charismatic pro-life leader in the 80s, helping advance the "rescue" protest mentality.

now vs scheidler logo.jpgTerry dropped out of sight for several reasons, both personal and pragmatic. Blogger Les Femmes has more details on Terry's history as does Austin Ruse at the Catholic News Agency.

One of Terry's pragmatic moves was to shut down the organization he created, Operation Rescue, in the wake of the 1986 NOW vs. Scheidler lawsuit, which came indirectly as a result of Bill Clinton's clampdown on pro-life protesters at abortion mills.

Scheidler actually had nothing to do with the protests for which he was sued.

Terry, who did, was also originally named in the suit. He attempted to bail, first by disbanding OR when legal bills skyrocketed. His attorneys went on to claim in court neither it nor he had any financial obligation since OR no longer existed.

When that didn't work Terry personally bailed....

This led one commenter on another blog to write, "Was the blogger suffering from a sort of Jill Stanek attention envy, or is she a Jill Stanek confederate?" I don't think so, but the coincidences are indeed strange. I checked my emails and don't think she contacted me to publicize her pseudo-tragedy. The day after Dr. George Tiller was murdered, TWI obtained data revealing that under the Bush administration, criminal enforcement of the federal law designed to protect abortion providers and clinics had declined by more than 75% over the last 8 years.

Strangely ignored is there were no murders of abortionists under President Bush's watch. The other side preferred a witch hunt. Somehow he's at fault, even though The Washington Independent admitted, "The clinic where Dr. Tiller worked, for example, was repeatedly vandalized, including just days before his murder," this under President Obama's watch.

  • The more sex education, the more sexual self-consciousness. There is substantial evidence that the more sex education, especially on technique, the more the couple is sexually inhibited. The greater the emphasis on sexual performance, the less communication and interpersonal intimacy there is....

Palin goes on offensive against Letterman on Today Show

Sarah Palin made strong points in an interview today on The Today Show, speaking with Matt Lauer about several sexist pot shots David Letterman made this week against her and her daughters. She was certainly on the offensive, saying:

  • Comments such as Letterman's add to the low self-esteem of teens in daughter Bristol's precarious situation - young, unmarried, pregnant.

  • Comments such as Letterman's add to the allure of adult male sexual predators preying on young girls, no matter whether he was speaking of her 18- or 14-year-old.

  • Comments such as Letterman's again demonstrate the political double standard of making families of conservatives, particularly women, the brunt of misogynist jokes.
  • Palin refused to back away from her spokesperson's statement rejecting Letterman's offer to appear on his show, as "it would be wise to keep Willow away from David Letterman," Willow being Palin's 14-year-old. She refused to accept that Letterman was taking jabs at 18-year-old Bristol, not Willow, as he has since stated.

Palin also gave a great laugh line in response to Letterman's "slutty flight attendant" line: "My first thought was, hey, don't disparage flight attendants! They work hard, we love 'em...."

UPDATE, 6/12, 12:45a: Now Amanda Fortini at Salon has jumped on the anti-misogynist Letterman bandwagon, also calling out feminists who avert their eyes when conservative women are the targets. In an overall good piece just out:

If there was any question that a stubborn strain of old-school sexism persists in Obama's America, one has only to look at certain leaders of what the right wing loves to call the "liberal media" but which is sounding and acting, recently, more like the frat-house media.

British boys to manage the birds and bees with C-cards

The perpetrator will be charged with 2 acts of homicide, right?

Not necessarily, according to the latest reports on the brutal murder of a pregnant OR mother and her preborn baby boy. The backstory, according to ABC News:

    korena-roberts.jpg

Police in a suburb of Portland, OR became suspicious after a woman named Korena Elaine Roberts [pictured right] called for help reporting her newborn wasn't breathing.

Doctors couldn't revive the baby, and alerted authorities when they determined Roberts had not given birth. Inside Roberts' home, they discovered the body of Heather Snively [pictured below left] inside a crawl space.

At this point, police haven't determined whether Snively gave birth before she died or if the baby was removed....

New Stanek WND column: "Missing from Tiller's eulogy: The A-word"

    WND%20logo.gif

Of everything I read about the June 6 funeral of late-term abortionist George Tiller, I thought this was the most telling, from the New York Times:
But for the most part, Dr. Tiller's funeral focused less on his work than on his life with his family and friends. The word abortion was never uttered....

Clearly they all knew: Tiller was murdered for his "life's" work, but the reason was unmentionable? Sad. Even in death George Tiller's "vocation" was anathema....

Conversely, without ever saying the A-word, family and friends implied that if anything would earn Tiller a place in both heaven and history as a martyr it would be the tens of thousands of abortions he committed. From the Associated Press:

"Dear God, get heaven ready, because Mr. Enthusiasm is coming," said Larry Borcherding, of Overland Park, who first met Tiller a half-century ago when both were students at the University of KS. "Heaven will never be the same. It will be a better, better place with George in it."...
But if what Tiller did was so heroic, why not describe it?
"Dear God, get heaven ready, because one of the few who not only stomached but relished aborting late-term babies (We called him 'Mr. Enthusiasm'!) is coming!...

Breaking news: Tiller's mill closed permanently

Thumbnail image for breaking.jpgJust received the following article from Operation Rescue's Troy Newman with this note:

Dear Friends, It is a bittersweet moment. Operation Rescue was just 2 months away from getting Tiller's medical license revoked and that would have accomplished the same goal.

    From KWCH this morning:

Lee Thompson and Dan Monnat, attorneys for the family of Dr. George Tiller, issued the following statement today:

    tiller sign.jpg

"The family of Dr. George Tiller announces that effective immediately, Women's Health Care Services, Inc., will be permanently closed. Notice is being given today to all concerned that the Tiller family is ceasing operation of the clinic and any involvement by family members in any other similar clinic.

We are proud of the service and courage shown by our husband and father and know that women's health care needs have been met because of his dedication and service. That is a legacy that will never die. The family will honor Dr. Tiller's memory through private charitable activities.

The Tiller family wishes to assure Dr. Tiller's past patients that the privacy of their medical histories and patient records will remain as fiercely protected now and in the future as they were during Dr. Tiller's lifetime."

There will be no more statements or comments on behalf of the family on this matter.

    Terminating Kate

Steve Waldman of Beliefnet.com posted this video yesterday:

This isn't so far-fetched, recalling late-term abortionist LeRoy Carhart's quote in the Washington Times only today:

"God gave that fetus a 'guardian ad litem' when he chose the mother that fetus is born with," he said. "That mother, I feel, has been charged by God to make the right choices for that child during its unborn and early born years."

Carhart compares Tiller to MLK, pro-lifers to KKK

From the Washington Times today, some remarkable statements by sloven late-term abortionist LeRoy Carhart:

    crosses kkk pro-life.jpg

Dr. LeRoy Carhart, one of the nation's few providers of late-term abortions, called on the federal government to treat as hate crimes all activities by "anti-choice domestic terrorists," compared the slain Dr. George Tiller to Martin Luther King and said planting crosses was equivalent to actions by the Ku Klux Klan.

"This is the equivalent of Martin Luther King being assassinated," Dr. Carhart said of the May 31 slaying of one of America's best-known late-term abortion providers. "This is the equivalent of Pearl Harbor, the sinking of the Lusitania and any other major historic event where we've tolerated the intolerable for too long."...

    "Fetus" flushed like fish

This is a strange story. I just called the Mesa, AZ, Police Public Relations Dept., and it is what it is. I was told there is a "procedural" investigation ongoing.

flushing toilet.jpgWhile I'm sure there is protocol for removing dead human bodies from crime scenes, there is apparently a disconnect when it comes to removing premature human baby bodies. Stories about this incident called the baby a "fetus," but actually s/he was not. Once a baby is born, no matter what gestational age, s/he may be called any number of terms - baby, neonate, infant, newborn, child - but "fetus" is no longer an option.

So officers inexplicably decided to flush this baby - evidence if nothing else - down the toilet. My first thought was the baby had been medically aborted, another reason to retain the body, because this likely would have been an illegal abortion.

If nothing else - if there were no ulterior motives for literally flushing the evidence - then this shows utter callousness regarding the humanity of very young children.

    Murder in church = martyrdom?

Patrick O'Hannigan wrote a good piece in yesterday's American Spectator. When pro-aborts want abortion to be a constitutional rather than a religious right, it is so. When they want it to be a religious rather than a constitutional right, it is so.

... I do not write to speak ill of the dead. My argument here is with the living.

More specifically, I have a quarrel with Rev. Katherine Ragsdale and those others who imply that anyone killed on church property automatically becomes a martyr. It presumes too much to hint that the crime scene tape used by police officers has sanctifying power, yet this muddle-headed version of "murder in the cathedral" seems to be the prevailing view...

    Weekend question II

weekend question.jpgHusband Rich just thought of another good weekend question.

In conjunction with my being bestowed the title by MSNBC's Keith Olbermann this week, who would you name as the "Worst Person in the World!"?

    Weekend question I

weekend question.jpgThe Washington Times reported June 6:

Liberals and conservatives are often disgusted with one another. No surprise there.

But conservatives are literally the more easily disgusted of the 2 when it comes to such squeamish things as maggots, questionable toilet seats and the prospect of eating monkey meat. Such sensitivity, it seems, plays a role in their ideology and moral values.

Two joint studies released Friday from psychologists at Cornell, Harvard and Yale universities determined that conservatives are more fastidious about the creepier, smellier side of life....

The chicken or egg theories why:

  • Moral values are driven by emotion.

  • Emotion is driven by moral values.
  • In other words, either people who are more squeamish lean toward conservatism, or conservatism leads to a greater awareness of the potentially unhealthy or unsafe.

Questions: Which do you think came first? What does this say about liberalism?

Newsbusters outs Olbermann on false accusation against Stanek

New Stanek WND column, "Late-term abortion endangered? Hardly"

    WND%20logo.gif

It is falsely claimed George Tiller was one of only 3 late-term abortionists in the US, for instance, in the New York Times:

Some described Dr. Tiller as one of about only 3 doctors in the country who had, under certain circumstances, provided abortions to women in their 3rd trimester of pregnancy, and said his death would mean that women, particularly in the central US, would have few if any options in such cases.

Apparently, it was Tiller himself who started it. According to The Guardian:

    tiller george.jpg

Tiller testified ... that he owns 1 of only 3 clinics in the US that perform late-term abortions, which are performed on foetuses that could survive outside the mother's womb....

Actually, the delusion grows grander. According to the Los Angeles Times:

But Warren Hern, a CO physician and close friend of Tiller... said he was now "the only doctor in the world" who performed very late-term abortions....

Well, no. The fact is 2nd and 3rd trimester abortions are committed rampantly in hospitals and abortion clinics across the country on a daily basis....

Of the 40 states reporting to the CDC in 2005, 32 reported abortions of babies 21 weeks or older.

So if it were true only 3 doctors nationwide committed them, they did a lot of flying. KS, where Tiller practiced, accounted for "only" 459 of 8,482 late-term abortions reported to the CDC that year....

Pro-lifers push back against intimidation attempts

Well, well. With a unified voice pro-lifers are condolent but refusing to cower and accept blame for the murder of late-term abortionist George Tiller by a noncompliant schizophrenic.

This is such a surprise it's newsworthy. According to The Washington Independent yesterday, which apparently reads this blog:

... [A]nti-abortion activists have begun to push back against the news that Department of Justice dispatched federal marshals to protect abortion clinics that requested extra, temporary security....

And the murder of a military recruiter in Little Rock - Muslim convert Abdulhakim Mujahid Muhammad is the suspect - has prodded activists to portray coverage of Tiller's murder as unfairly slanted and overblown. • Michelle Malkin:

When a right-wing Christian vigilante kills, millions of fingers pull the trigger. When a left-wing Muslim vigilante kills, he kills alone. These are the instantly ossifying narratives in the Sunday shooting death of late-term abortion provider George Tiller of KS versus the Monday shootings of two AR military recruiters....

  • And Bill O'Reilly, who has admirably been continuing to out late-term abortionist TIller and refusing to cower to liberals for his past coverage, asked a great question: Will NBC accept responsibility for the Jihadist killing, since the shooter said it was due to military action against Muslims, a fraudulent NBC talking point for years?

  • Abortion mill replaces Christ with rubber chicken

women's center chicken.jpgLast April, I wrote about pro-abort shenanigans at the Northern Illinois Woman's Center in Rockford, IL (here and here), where staff hung a lynched rubber chicken in the window, displayed dolls in coffins, dressed like satan, and threatened pro-lifers, all with no notice from MSM.

It appears the noosed chicken turned off many of the mill's African-American clients, so staff recently hung it instead on a cross and also made other aesthetic changes. These came as a result, according to pro-lifer on the scene, Kevin, who also took the following pictures as recently as last Friday:

It seems these pictures were this abortion mill's response to the success of the Rockford 40 Days for Life campaign. We know of 19 moms who chose life, and that upset the abortionist and clinic owner.

WARNING: Blasphemy and graphic language follow...

  • A Daily Kos diarist has posted a transcript of late-term abortionist Warren Hern blaming Tiller's death on the anti-abortion movement and comparing it to the Taliban during an MSNBC interview:
This was not an act of a lone deranged gunman, this is a result of 35 years of relentless and merciless anti -abortion harassment, violence, and intimidation, hate speech, and violent rhetoric and this is the absolutely predictable consequence of that kind of mindless harassment and fanaticism....

The main difference between the American anti-abortion movement and the Taliban is about 8k miles....

Pro-aborts quick to not waste a crisis

Kansas Meadowlark has additional information on George Tiller's killer, Scott Roeder, who is more the paranoid unibomber type, as this snapshot of his life 13 years ago reveals:

Scott Roeder is sentenced to 16 months in state prison for parole violations following a 1996 conviction for having bomb components in his car trunk. Roeder, a sovereign citizen and tax protester, violated his parole by not filing tax returns or providing his social security number to his employer.

But a tragedy such as Tiller's murder is despicably a PR dream for pro-aborts, particularly just as we see the majority of Americans turning against them.

tiller body.jpgI documented in a post yesterday, that on the very day of this man's death a Feministing blogger was considering ways to "turn this terrible tragedy into an opportunity to strengthen the pro-choice movement...."

Newsbusters has a post this morning about pro-abort sites accusing Limbaugh, Hannity, O'Reilly, and Beck of being instigators.

Even I stand accused. A couple of (now unpublished) comments this blog has received...

The PBA president "outraged" by Tiller's death

    THE WHITE HOUSE
    Office of the Press Secretary
    FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
    May 31, 2009
    STATEMENT FROM THE PRESIDENT
ON THE MURDER OF DR. GEORGE TILLER

I am shocked and outraged by the murder of Dr. George Tiller as he attended church services this morning. However profound our differences as Americans over difficult issues such as abortion, they cannot be resolved by heinous acts of violence.

Pro-lifers are consistent. They are shocked and outraged by the vigilante murder of George Tiller as well as the thousands of children he murdered.

obama head shot.jpgObama, on the other hand, supports as a "legitimate medical procedure" the type of abortion wherein the abortionist stabs a half-delivered breech baby in the nape of her neck, suctions her brains out, collapses her skull, and then completes the delivery.

Obama, on the other hand, supports letting abortion survivors die of asphyxiation with no medical intervention.

Obama, on the other hand, thought so highly of KS Gov. Kathleen Sebelius, who was central to averting justice of Tiller and thereby increased the odds of senseless vigilantism, he promoted her to a federal position.
