Continue to read the Mattew Balan's Newsbusters piece, which further delves into Olbermann's "continuing... theme" of accusing pro-lifers of waging "a religious jihad" that "murder is justified...."
Comments:
The Yellow Pages are also guilty for publishing the addresses of local candy stores, thereby causing thousands of people to contract diabetes.
Posted by: Steve at June 5, 2009 11:22 AMAbortion clinics are in the yellow pages everywhere! They are all in front of the phone book under A!!! Duh! They also have their own web sites. Again, if abortion is just a simple choice, why is everyone so hush-hush on the issue?
Posted by: heather at June 5, 2009 11:34 AMKO is his own worst person. The man is bananas.

Posted by: carder at June 5, 2009 11:36 AMIs Olby conceding that abortion-enabling is a horrible thing? If Stanek is the worst person for enabling an abortion, and I'm just as worse for being a reader of this blog, what does that make Carhart and Tiller? Olby's staff couldn't do his story without having been regular readers of Stanek's blog.
Showing pictures of people's mugs and calling them horrible people... is this enabling violence against those persons should one of them end up dead?

This is an awesome video:
Posted by: HisMan at June 5, 2009 12:02 PMAs someone who is far from conservative, I had a bit of respect for Olbermann. That shred is gone now.
Posted by: Pro-life atheist at June 5, 2009 12:02 PMThis is awesome too: God Bless......

I'd sue KO and Bill Gates personally and MSNBC and Microsoft corporately for libeling you.
Posted by: HisMan at June 5, 2009 12:09 PMHis Man, wow! I put it into my favorites. I've only gotten to the part about the married woman who had the tubal blockage. I want to watch it later.
Posted by: heather at June 5, 2009 12:16 PMIts like a little kid saying to his parents... but i didn't actually hit my sister... I just made it look like i hit my sister..honest. No one believes that from an 8 yr. old and no one believes it now.
Posted by: Yo La Tengo at June 5, 2009 12:27 PMOdorman can't even get his facts straight.
I love Newsbusters and thought they would write about his rant. Good for them!
Posted by: Joanne at June 5, 2009 12:43 PMCranky Catholic~
What a good point!
Should we be calling out Odorman for inciting violence against these people? After all, who wants the worst person in the world to keep harming the American public by writing a BLOG!
If Jill is bad for 'inciting violence' against Carhart and Hern, Keith is worse for inciting violence against Carhart, Hern, AND Jill.
After all, he practically led people to her doorstop by mentioning her BLOG!

Thanks for the shout about Operation Outcry! I am the WI State Team Leader! :)
Beyond the Dark Valley is very good. Many of my OO friends tell their abortion stories.
Thank you for all you do, HisMan!

For once I agree, Olbermann is JUST like that!
Because after all, wouldn't you want to worst person in the world to quit making the world so vile?
Posted by: MaryRose at June 5, 2009 2:23 PMHere's an interesting article from the LA Times -
Changing Abortion's Pronoun
'We had abortions,' say men whose lovers ended pregnancies. It isn't just a women's trauma, they insist. But critics see a political calculation.

Posted by: Janet at June 5, 2009 3:50 PMKeith Blowharderman is becoming a caricature of himself.
KB is becoming more hyperbolic in real life than the gross exageration of an impersonation that Ben Afleck so masterfully portrayed on Saturday Night Live.
It is fun to provoke these people. They have so personified political correctness that they are truly indignant when some refuses to comply with their convoluted concepts of right and wrong.
Blowharderman makes his living off of 'free speech', but he becomes apoplectic when anyone else dares to speak freely and bluntly about one of his favorite charity cases or causes.
Go Blowerharderman, extinguish yourself once again. Raise hypocrisy and duplicity to new levels of absurdity.

Posted by: Doyle Chadwick at June 5, 2009 5:35 PMI wrote to Keith at countdown@msnbc.com and said his claims were false. However google has the address and so, presumably, does the phone book.
Not that I expect a retraction, but I felt better saying it anyway.
Thank God for Newsbusters.
Matthew Balan is great.

Jill, I know it's a bit of a tangent, but if you haven't already, could you or someone you know in the blogosphere please shed some light on Playboy Magazine's hate-filled article endorsing rape of conservative women? I think this is highly troubling, as a conservative woman myself, and it should be made known to everyone despite the article being pulled. If you have already, I'm sorry.
Posted by: xalisae at June 5, 2009 8:06 PMJill, when you are targeted then you are doing the right thing. Someday I hope you become the HHS Secretary.

Huh? It would be the same IF keith had published Jill's address, but seeing as how he did not I don't see the comparison.
Posted by: Yo La Tengo at June 5, 2009 9:03 PMJanet,
Thank you for the article about post abortive men!! I have heard men tell their stories. Heart wrenching.
I am praying their numbers continue to grow and they can receive healing and JOIN US!!

Carla @ 9:20,
You're welcome.

Hi MK!
"The crowd roars!" (For MK!)
YLT,
Jill only posted as much as the doctors in question posted themselves. Olbermann did the same with Jill's information.
Just because Jill had made her person less physically available to Olbermann doesn't mean he didn't put out as much as he had.
And insinuate false information. Jill didn't post either doctor's home address.
Posted by: MaryRose at June 5, 2009 11:09 PMI watch KO's Countdown just to see who the three BEST people in the world are that day.
Congrats, Jill, on achieving the top honor. I always knew you were truly a hero, now the whole lefty world knows about ya, too. Go Girl.
Posted by: Michelle at June 6, 2009 4:45 AMJill, Keep up the good work. You are definitely doing something right when the pro-abortion Main Stream Media has to sink this low.
Posted by: Allen J. Troupe at June 6, 2009 5:42 AMre: MaryRose at June 5, 2009 11:09 PM
It's called context. In the context of Jill's message board with its radical anti-choice following, posting someone's information could be seen as intimidation. Much in the same way that posting a picture of someone's place of business on a "radical islamist" website. It creates the impression that the place pictured is a target, for protest or for worse.
It's fine if you don't want to acknowledge this connection, but just so you know, everyone is probably making it, including law enforcement. You can wash your hands of it, but the stains of complicity are hard to remove.
Posted by: Yo La Tengo at June 7, 2009 11:24 AMYLT:
Your fake outrage never ceases to amuse me.
Can you not just level with the fact that you are pro-choice, others are pro-life, and this is a controversial issue that will necessarily include heated and extreme rhetoric from both sides? Does it always HAVE to be about far-fetched, generalized character assasination? Can you not be pro-choice based on solely on the merits of abortion? Is it imperative to your position that you convince yourself that the opposition are violent radicals? You remind me of the far, far right conservatives who need to believe that all Muslims are evil and dismiss any argument to the contrary because it's doesn't fit into your simplisitic world view. I've been impressed by many of the pro-choice comments on this site that actually take the time to think critically about abortion and develop a concrete position and display some level of humility. You sound more like the kid at someone else's birthday party who can't stand that someone else is getting all the presents and attention. I just want to come here and read through productive debates but you have to show up and whine incessantly and be some sort of self-qualified referee who calls foul so often that I can't enjoy the game. People have the legal right to support things that you don't support; accept that and rationally defend what you support so you can be an asset rather than a pest.
Janette, well put!
