I do love the dancing but wish it would have been at the wedding reception.

I agree Carla. At the reception, the odds are better that us whities would be inebriated to the point where we would either relax and dance better, or relax and not care.

I imagine some of my African American Brothers & Sisters out there don't know whether to laugh or cry. They're probably saying, "Dancing? Is that what that was?"

This particular entrance really bothers me, actually. I feel that the whimsical, lighthearted approach to a wedding is inappropriate and a part of the reason why we in America have a 50% divorce rate.

By that I mean, we go into marriage nowadays with this idea that it's all fun and easy and that it's no different in married life than as separate individuals. This concept is fallacious...

I wouldn't have minded it at the reception, as those posters before me have stated. In the church, at the wedding itself, it seems like taking the ceremony lightly lends itself to taking the vows lightly...

This is a beautiful celebration of a joyous occasion. I'm very happy for them. :)

Oh my goodness. You wouldn't see that in a Catholic Church. It's great that they look really happy, but I agree with those who say they should have saved the dancing for the reception.
