Hanging rubber chickens and signs blaspheming Jesus at IL abortion mill

I've written several times about the creepy signs in the windows of Northern Illinois Woman's Center in Rockford, IL, as well as the erratic behavior of people associated with that abortion mill.

Now Rockford pro-lifers have posted a shocking video on YouTube.

These pro-aborts are sickos.

How unprofessional. I'm surprised any woman would venture in there.

you had me at "mocks god."

I swear, attitudes like those on this video might provoke me into putting up some provocative (and tasteless) signs.

The very nature of abortion opens its practitioners, participants and supporters to the demonic and dark side of the spiritual world.

Posted by: Raymond V Banner at September 21, 2009 5:21 PM

It is beyond me how the people who put those signs up can miss the irony. Of course, in order to understand irony, one must first understand truth.

Or how they can not understand how off-putting that language and those images are to their prospective clientele.

I'm sure they think of it as satire. But: "Satire is a sort of glass, wherein beholders do generally discover everybody's face but their own"--Jonathan Swift

Actually, what it is, is Satan sticking its forked tongue out at us from behind the window. And licking its chops in anticipation of the living victims about to be sacrificed to it, and the mothers' souls it hopes to acquire. But of course it won't get the souls of the babies, and there is always hope that the mothers can escape its grasp with our help.

Good grief! Not only is this sick, blasphemous, and offensive..it's extremely IMMATURE. Do these idiots(sorry, couldn't help myself)not know that this makes them come across as a bunch of Jr High kids? This is like something some 14 year-old would do...or is that who's running this place, a bunch of adolescents?

Hey Bill, saw that same Swift quote in a Chris Hitchens article this weekend.
I like it.

Posted by: Hal at September 21, 2009 6:11 PM

Hal, you can be assured that I did *not* find that quote by reading anything Hitchens wrote. He and I have nothing in common.

Dude, c'mon, ya KNOW Jesus sed, "Enter by the narrow gate..." and they I guess won't make it because they're too proud and self-rightous to see beyond their sexual queerness; furthermore, you must be humble enuff to know you're a sinner. That's EXACTLY why they're going downtown for eternity -|IF|- the WARNING doesn't change'm. Let's pray for all the abortion providers and abortion abductees HeeHee --- My point is: Non-believers in Christ are like particle board: alright for cabinet making and behind-the-scene in the dark, but ever see a HOUSE made up of that capillary material in the daylight? When the wind blows, you know how it goes: structural collapse, no meatNbones bringing U.S. to the Great Beyond. Barack Obama’s exactly like that: controlled by the filthy rich, while partial-birth-abortion’s STILL a mortal sin deserving of the Abyss DOMINUS VOBISCUM

Posted by: BoxxaRoxx at September 21, 2009 6:32 PM

They use the name of Jesus without even knowing Him. We need to pray for their repentence. What a gloomy place of murder.

Posted by: Robyn at September 21, 2009 7:11 PM

This reminds me of Paul's words, "They have had their conscience seared as with a hot iron." This is just consistent with the darkness they have exhibited for so long. I live near another murder factory in Granite City, Il - The "Hope" clinic, talk about tragic irony!

Jill - I am not going to watch this video. The title said enough:

Philippians 4:8 (New American Standard Bible)

Finally, brethren, whatever is true, whatever is honorable, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is of good repute, if there is any excellence and if anything worthy of praise, dwell on these things.

I am going to my happy place now.

Posted by: Mary at September 21, 2009 9:12 PM

This place looks like its on a par with Carhart's. You know, the former service garage located next door to what looked like a crack house, with the outdoor generator and port-a-pottis that was very charitably described as a "non-descript building" by what had to be a visually challenged reporter?

Hal:

In actuality Hal, the life you lead and what you believe are much worse than hanging out some tasteless and provacative sign. Go ahead, it won't shock any of us.

You don't have to hang signs out to reveal the horror you have committed and who you really are inside. While in general, you present a polite and nice facade, hanging these blasphemous signs out in a window of a supposed medical facility is nothing compared to terminating your own children.

You need to repent and ask for forgivenss before it is too late.

Realize that God is being very patient and loving, waiting for you to come to Him as a little child begging for forgiveness, something that you did not give your first two children a chance to do.

Perhaps you are punishing yourself Hal. No need for that....you couldn't punish yourself enough to make things right. Only an infinite and sinless God could do that for you. You just have to accept it. He's waiting.

Hal, what'd you think of that issue? I tried so hard but for some reason could not focus on the California energy article.

What it would look like if ACORN ventured into the abortion business!

Communtiy organizers coalesce into new enterprise: 'dead babies r us' gone ghetto.

ACORN spokesweasel says,"It just flowed naturally out of ho houses staffed with under age sex slaves. It is a very synergistic realtions ship which is mutually beneficial to all us pimps."

If there is one thing about you of which I am sure it is that you have 'taste'.

'Tastelessness' on your part, would require labor equivalent to child birth.

The fruit is really not worth the effort.

I know one of the guys who regularly prays outside this abortion clinic, and I happened to talk to him a few months ago. Almost anticipating what I was thinking, he told me that a lot of people tell him they would never want to pray outside an abortion clinic like this, where the evil is so palpable.

On the contrary, he said he'd rather pray outside a place like this rather than, say, the $7 million "Abortion Fortress" of Aurora, IL -- some 70 miles away -- whose outside appearance completely masks the evil within (not unlike a "whitewashed tomb").

He told me, "When you see a rubber chicken on a crucifix, it makes you want to pray harder."

I hadn't thought of it that way.

#1 If I was a woman who wanted an abortion, NO WAY would I go there! I would be terrified that people that publicly display such unprofessional behavior would let me bleed to death.

I mean, can you imagine an eye surgeon displaying "I've made 50,000 people see! Jesus only gave sight to 50!" sign? The abortion industry is NOT about medical care, as you can see.

#2 You can only imagine the RAGE and despair that these workers feel. Can you imagine going to work every day to kill babies? I would probably be a hate filled lunatic too if I had to do that!

Posted by: Sydney M at September 22, 2009 10:09 AM

Alexendra, what issue?

Posted by: Hal at September 22, 2009 10:41 AM

Aren't these people supposed to be taking care of patients? Where do they get all the spare time to write up signs and string up chickens?
I would be concerned about the caliber and intelligence of my doctor's office staff is this is how they spent their time.

Oh Hal, sorry! I was talking about the Atlantic. I'm running on very little sleep so you'll have to excuse me.

Posted by: Alexandra at September 22, 2009 4:28 PM

Alexandra, I enjoyed reading Hitchens' "attack" on Jon Stewart and Al Frankin. Although I like them both very much, it was an interesting take on everything.

Posted by: Hal at September 22, 2009 5:10 PM

You like Al Franken, Hal? Very much? Can I ask why?

You crack me up. I am over the river from Frankenosity. Now you're jealous.

Posted by: carla Author Profile Page at September 22, 2009 8:34 PM

Gee, what a shock that the owner and employees of an abortion mill behave in this manner. The same with the mill in Florida that throws fetuses on the roof, and Carhart's place that makes Obama's brother's hut in Africa look like a veritable palace by comparison. Let's not forget the hell hole abortion mills in New Jersey that were shut down by authorities where the filth was so bad (even by abortion mill standards) that the state had no choice but to act. And then there are those cases of abortionists who sexually abuse patients under anesthesia.

And what did all of these have in common? The answer is they were/are all attracted to the one industry where they felt they could thrive. Mainstream doctors regard abortionists as the lowest of the low. I wonder why.

Hi Carla,

Senator Franken is a very smart, aggressive, Democrat. (at a time most Democrats are milk toast suck ups to the Republicans.)

I also think he's funny.

Posted by: Hal at September 23, 2009 9:51 AM

Totally disagree with ya about Franken, Hal. What's new?? :)

At the MN State Fair this year the Franken booth was completely empty. The MN GOP? Packed with folks signing petitions, making contributions and buying buttons. I will send you one of mine.

You made my day, Hal. It is always a joy to talk to you.

Posted by: carla Author Profile Page at September 23, 2009 10:08 AM

Carla, you probaly feel about Franken the way I feel when I see Tom Delay "dancing with the stars."

I think I threw up a little in my mouth last night as I watched a clip of that.

Love talking to you too!

Posted by: Hal at September 23, 2009 3:19 PM

LOL!!
I think Franken is a pig. Even way back when in his SNL days. Ugh.

Posted by: carla Author Profile Page at September 23, 2009 4:43 PM

Hey Hal, did you see that video when Franken was ambushed by a conservative crowd and he talked to them and answered their questions rationally and on their level? I don't know much about Franken besides what I've read in his books but I thought it was pretty cool.

Posted by: Kate at September 24, 2009 11:15 AM

Kate, I didn't see that video. Sounds interesting.

Carla, I wonder if there is anyone in public life we could agree on?

Posted by: Hal at September 24, 2009 11:44 AM

I love Stevie Nicks. Your turn, Hal.

Kate,
That does sound pretty cool that Franken talked to people.

Posted by: carla Author Profile Page at September 24, 2009 12:00 PM

"...answered their questions rationally and on their level?"

Puh-leez.

"YA ME IS STOOPID CUNSIRVUTIV PLEZE TOK SLOW OR ME NO UNDERSTAND U K?"

Yes, it's a good thing us ignorant conservatives have such benevolent liberals like yourselves to condescend to us. I mean, we do only understand the simplest of monosyllabic words and phrases. Why don't conservatives like liberals again? Oh yes, I remember, because by and large, they tend to be pompous jackasses. Trying to run the world as though you're the smartest one in it doesn't usually work out too well.

Posted by: xalisae at September 24, 2009 12:10 PM

Carla, I like her voice. Don't know anything about her as a person.

How about Bill Cosby?

Posted by: Hal at September 24, 2009 1:30 PM

Stevie is rather elusive. She keeps her life private. I have only read one or two articles about her in the 25 years of being a fan.
Yes! I do like Bill Cosby! See how easy this is, Hal?
I thought if we couldn't agree on living people we could move onto the deceased and after that cartoons. But here we are. :)

Sometimes abortion gets too much for me and I grow weary of talking about it. It is hard enough to carry it in my life. I know that you know what I mean.

Posted by: carla Author Profile Page at September 24, 2009 1:41 PM

Cartoons eh? Are you a Simpsons fan?

I guess as long as we stay away from politics and religion we'll be okay.

I do understand what you're saying about abortion discussions. Of course, this is a blog dedicated to discussing abortion, so I suppose it shouldn't surprise us that the topic dominates the conversations here. As for me, I seem to be losing interest.

Posted by: Hal at September 24, 2009 1:48 PM

Sorry. No to the Simpsons. Winnie the Pooh for me. Piglet to be more specific.

Sometimes I just wish abortion wasn't a part of my life experience but then I wouldn't be who I am today or doing what I am doing. I know that I am to tell my story. It's hard, Hal. It is one thing to talk about it and discuss it as one with an opinion and no experience with abortion. Quite another to long for God to use you and bring purpose to the pain.

I am sorry you are losing interest!! I am wondering if you miss MK? Doug? Sally? Reality? TexasRed? :)

Posted by: carla Author Profile Page at September 24, 2009 2:00 PM

You didn't mention Laura?

Honestly, though, I don't really "miss" our old friends the way we would miss people IRL. There have been, and still are, some good and decent people who visit this site. I've learned a thing or two, and maybe offered something of value to the discussion now and then. I specifically appreciate your kindness and your spirit. I'm not going away, but will continue to drift in and out.

Posted by: Hal at September 24, 2009 2:14 PM

LAURA!!! LOL

Well Hal, I will see you when I see you. The kindness and grace you have extended to me will not be forgotten. You have let yourself be open to the possibility that maybe, just maybe abortion hurts some of us. You have respectfully listened to me and cheered me on. I still get choked up.

Peace, dude.

read between the lines. He was literally on their level, not on a stage or with a microphone and he met their concerns with his concerns and views.
