Live tweeting abortion, Part X: "Move on people"

Read Part I, Part II, Part III, Part IV, Part V, Part VI, Part VII, Part VIII, and Part IX. Pro-lifers can share their thoughts at #livetweetingabortion.

Before discussing the topic at hand there's a very real concern. Several days ago a copycat named nextthurs began live tweeting her RU-486 abortion. But she abruptly stopped tweeting 3 nights ago after a couple ominous posts:

live tweeting abortion 10.png

That was the last nextthurs was heard from. I pray she's ok....

Angie Jackson.jpgBack to the original live tweeting aborter, when I wrote my 1st post about Angie Jackson 8 long days ago, I never dreamed her RU-486 abortion drama would drag on this long.

Neither did she, which will be the topic of my column tomorrow.

As it turns out it appears I am the reason Angie stopped trying to "demystify" her RU-486 abortion by tweeting her headaches, nausea, vomiting, cramps, Vicodin-popping, and bleeding. At 4:27p on February 27 Angie tweeted...

angie last cramp.png

... and wouldn't you know Angie coincidentally has never tweeted another complaint, save for a persistent backache she blames on "stupid old injuries." Only 7 hours prior Angie wrote...

live tweeting abortion 8.png

... but then Angie's 9 days of adverse reactions to her RU-486 abortion magically stopped. Either that or she stopped being honest about what she was undergoing when realizing her complaints didn't bode well for her choice. You decide.

Whatever, today Angie got an all clear from Planned Parenthood at her follow-up visit, and she's ready for this to be over...

angie, planned parenthood clear.png

And it's just as well, because the more Angie tweets about her RU-486 abortion, the more inconsistent her story becomes. Just a little for instance, Angie wrote way back on February 18...

live tweeting abortion 9.png

... and then 10 days later...

angie, embryo encyclopedia.png

So I think it's smart of Angie to move on, which as I said, she appears ready to do...

live tweeting abortion 11.png

I have a feeling BF has said, "enough." And I find myself agreeing with the louse. Enough. Angie's baby is dead. Read the final short installment of Angie's RU-486 abortion tweets below.

Angie is like a corpse. At first you're horrified that you're actually staring at a corpse and you can't look away...but then days later it just starts to STINK and you wish someone would drag it off to the cemetery already. Yeah, that sums up Angie's tweeting abortion for me.

Posted by: Sydney M. at March 3, 2010 9:49 PM

Mommy is very sick, but it's not with an embryo. I think Angie has some serious psychological problems.

I'm sure her kid is going to looooooove hearing about STDs on his birthday...

Plus, it just kills me, no puns or irony intended, how Angie livetweeting her abortion isn't creepy, in her mind, but other people talking about it is. Also, if it's over and she wants people to move on, why is she still tweeting about it?

Posted by: Marauder at March 3, 2010 9:49 PM

I'm just guessing, but I'd lay money that it's the ghoulish obsession with her that Angie finds creepy, NOT the discussion about her abortion.

Posted by: ozoozol at March 3, 2010 10:01 PM

Praying for "nextthurs" who also began tweeting about her abortion. Hoping she's OK...

Posted by: Janet at March 3, 2010 10:02 PM

"Ghoulish obsession", please. The story kept going, so Jill kept posting about it.

Posted by: Marauder at March 3, 2010 10:04 PM

She does have serious mental problems, just read her blog, she is quite open about her issues including sex with men and women, and a cornucopia of psych meds that may or may not be helping, according to her.

She's also talked about slamming her head against studs to keep the visions of killing herself out of her head. (Something about butcher knives and slicing her jugular open.) That was as recent as December.

Yes, she does have a lot of problems. She needs prayer.

Posted by: Cherie28 at March 3, 2010 10:04 PM

It would be great if you stayed in your closets and prayed as Jesus directed.

Posted by: critter at March 3, 2010 10:10 PM

Hey Critter, it would be great if you would be the salt of the earth and the light on the hill as Jesus directed. you can't let your light shine before men if you're standing in a closet.

Posted by: Sydney M. at March 3, 2010 10:12 PM

Eeek, double-post, sorry about that.

Angie needs some serious prayer from those who pray - but not, in my opinion, because she's apparently bisexual. (Ugh, why does she have to be on my "team"?) Also, while I don't know how many psych meds she's taking, I'd just like to point out that being on multiple psych meds doesn't necessarily mean you have serious mental problems in the disturbed/crazy/Angie sense. I'm on multiple psych meds because I have depression and ADD. That's just how the brain chemistry turned out.

Self-harm and suicidal visions, though - yeah, that's serious mental problems.

@critter Can we bring our laptops?

Posted by: Scott at March 3, 2010 10:15 PM

'ghoulish obsession'? It's called 'concern for the welfare of another human being', ozoozol

Posted by: Pamela at March 3, 2010 10:39 PM

It's an irregular verb:

I care
You obsess
They creep me out

Posted by: Louise at March 3, 2010 11:12 PM

Well I guess that should be all first person!

"He/she/it creeps me out"

Posted by: Louise at March 3, 2010 11:14 PM

3 I will set before my eyes
no vile thing.
The deeds of faithless men I hate;
they will not cling to me.

4 Men of perverse heart shall be far from me;
I will have nothing to do with evil.

Father God,

We see here a woman who is screaming that she is desperate
for you and your love.

She was obviously raised in a setting without your plan for
loving parents.

Please make a way, where there seems to be no way for her
to see the humanity and dignity of the pre-born.

Let this recent experience of using social media to reveal the
depths of her soul, bring her to repentance.

You alone, Lord, know her sorrow and severe childhood wounds.

We beseech you to make your self real to Angie, in this hour
of her need.

Father God, we realize that without you, we all are nothing!

Help us to see a bit of ourselves in Angie, Lord.

We love you and praise you for your infinite mercy and grace
which leads us to the opportunity for a deeper walk with you.

In the mighty name of Jesus, we pray for Angie and all the
other women who see your gifts of life as intrusions.

Amen and amen

Hey Angie....don't stop Tweeting now.

You're the poster girl for what NOT to do.

I remember a shirt I saw a long time ago: "Have a goal in a bad example"

Seriously, though, this girl has a lot of growing up to do...mentally, that is.

PBS Host Tavis Smiley Calls Meeting To Urge Black[s to advance liberal] Agenda

The panel discussion will be March 20 at Chicago State University. Panelists include advertising pioneer Tom Burrell, professors Michael Eric Dyson and Cornel West, Nation of Islam leader Louis Farrakhan, the Rev. Jesse Jackson, and Bennett College President Julianne Malveaux.

[Take note: There are no conservatives or even republicans included in the discussion of the 'black' agenda. Evidently, Smiley believes that genetics or abundance of pigmentation precludes a human being from holding conservative values.]

Last week, Smiley and the Rev. Al Sharpton had a fierce argument about the issue on Sharpton's radio show, with Sharpton taking heated exception to Smiley's claim that the reverend was giving Obama a pass on black [liberal] issues.

He [Tavis Smiley] said that the Obama campaign and [liberal] black leaders asked African-Americans for help during the election, but that "now that he's elected, what are black people being asked to do to hold him accountable to our [liberal] agenda?"

Evidently liberal/progressive/humanists have not yet made the connection that you can NOT rely on the word of a person who repudiates 'absolutes'.

To relativists 'words' have no definite meaning and men like B.O. will only keep the agreements he has communicated in 'words' if B.O. calculates it advances the 'goal'.

You can only 'trust' a communnist/humanist to be a communist/humanist. Everything else is 'sinking sand'.

Leslie, wonderful prayer. Amen.

How interesting that the second abortion seems to have complications. Perhaps pro-choicers will start to see that complications and difficulties are not rare... I hope she's OK... :(

When Angie regrets her abortion, I expect the pro-abort crowd to say," See, it is women with previous mental problems that regret their abortion. Not the average women!!!"

Perhaps it is the average women who regrets their abortion and those with previous mentals problems who don't!

In a related story from our friends in New Zealand:

Obama File 98 Obama Science Czar Holdren's Pro - Soviet Associations

"Obama's "Science Czar" John P. Holdren, was once involved in a publication [Bulletin of the Nuclear Sciences] that included two accused Soviet informants among its founding sponsors."

..."a former senior Soviet Intellignce officer [Sudaplatov, a former wartime director of the Administration for Special Tasks, an elite unit of the Soviet intelligence service] named two of the Bulletin's founding sponsors, Leo Szilard and Robert Oppenheimer as sources of atomic information to the Soviet Union."

"Several other socialist and communist sympathizers worked for the publication, including some with family ties to Barack Obama."

"By the time John Holdren was working on the Bulletin's Board of Editors in 1984, the situation had not greatly improved."

Man, Angie needs to get a life...

"Stop with the cameras already, I mean, I HATE them....whoa whoa whoa- where are you going? Get back here!"

And in important news, Darfur...

Posted by: Vannah at March 4, 2010 9:36 AM

hopefully her son won't be interested in girls at age 12! The last thing HE needs when he turns 12 is a pro sex talk from a PP "doctor". Sorry, sweetie, but your son needs a better role model.

And doesn't he have special needs? Hopefully he won't NEED the 'talk' because he WON'T need it. He may not even be interested in girls at age 12! Why would a 12 year old need information on STDs? Seriously?

Posted by: LizFromNebraska at March 4, 2010 10:15 AM

Liz: He might be interested in girls when he's twelve - but hopefully he won't need information about STDs for a long time after that, if ever.

Posted by: Marauder at March 4, 2010 11:15 AM

Angie wants us to move on? Aw, man. She invited us all over and now we are thrown out into the streets. I was just gettin cozy on the couch.

Posted by: carla Author Profile Page at March 4, 2010 2:31 PM

This is all so tragic. Having witnessed the effects of a DNC that followed with complications such as massive blood hemorrhaging and an ambulance ride to the ER, I can understand some of the side effects being reported here. The mainstream media would never cover something like this.

Posted by: Rob at March 4, 2010 2:50 PM

I love the comments about Angie's mental state. Let's assume she does have many mental problems and is very unfit to be a mother. Hmmm....seems to me that an abortion is good thing in this instance. I mean, it is probably more humane to eliminate a potential human than to bring it into the world where the mother is crazy and may abuse it. Seems like a win/win to me.

I mean, come on people, you are all so quick to demonize this woman. Your reactions are real and honest, so stop trying to say that on the one hand you are there for Angie and would support her, but on the other hand you rip her to shreds on a blog. The rip her to shreds reaction is the true reaction!!! We on the pro-choice realize that this the reaction that a poor girl like this will receive. Abortion is a great choice for a woman like Angie and many like her.

Posted by: Jake at March 4, 2010 6:53 PM

You would be hard pressed to see where some of us have demonized her. There are several here with hearts that are breaking at what she has done and are earnestly hoping she gets the help she needs. One commenter here offered to adopt Angie's baby. She was scorned.

Angie feels no remorse whatsoever for the killing of her own child and sharing it with the world. She opened herself up to whatever reactions people have. Am I right?

If and when Angie feels even the slightest twinge of guilt, remorse, doubt, anxiety or depression from her experience we will be the first in line to offer her post abortion recovery. Until then I will pray for her.

Women deserve better than abortion!!!!!

I respectfully disagree. I have gone back and read many of the comments on this thread and all of the the others. Many of you are demonizing this woman. That's fine, it is honest even. But please don't tell me all of you are supporting her. Anyone reading these comments can clearly see the agenda. Some of you are supportive, but the majority are not.

Posted by: Jake at March 4, 2010 10:02 PM

I'm as supportive of her as I would be anyone who has done wrong by someone else. You will find that when she's ready to mourn her child, grieve the loss, and recognize how wrong this all was, we will be as supportive as we would be of anyone who had come to such a realization.

Ok Jake.
I said some, I said several.
Are these commenters one hit wonders, trolls, moderators, regular commenters?? SOME are demonizing her. Ok. Angie put herself and her baby out there and we as thinking human beings are reacting to it.
Is that an AH HA moment for you? You seem to relish the demonizing.

Posted by: carla Author Profile Page at March 5, 2010 5:59 AM

Carla, if you would've read the rule book, you would find that only Jake's side is allowed to demonize anyone, with words like "anti-choice zealots", "fascists", "American Taliban", etc. Sheesh, get with the program, woman!

Posted by: xalisae at March 5, 2010 1:51 PM

X Woman,
My bad. My four year old threw up on the rule book. You forgot "anti-lifers!"

Posted by: carla Author Profile Page at March 5, 2010 1:58 PM

What a sad, pathetic bunch of control freaks you are. Maybe you should pay more attention to your own lives and less time trying to run the lives of others.

Posted by: Kira at March 6, 2010 10:50 PM

I think you have me mixed up with the president.

Posted by: truthseeker at March 7, 2010 1:59 AM

Kira, you'll find that most of us don't really care what YOU or any other woman does with HER body. It's the death of another human being through abortion that we're really concerned with. If you think the only human body affected by abortion is the mature female's, you're sadly, SADLY mistaken.

Posted by: xalisae at March 7, 2010 12:24 PM

Angie is a brave woman, and a friend of mine on FaceBook. I applaud her choice, and for helping other women by taking the mystic out of abortion. Kudos to her.

Posted by: Bob Rodriguez at March 7, 2010 7:09 PM

You applaud her kill her own child. Finish the thought. She is not helping women except to see that using RU-486 is hardly what she thought it would be!! She was lied to. She had more bleeding and pain than she thought she would, for longer than she was told she would.

There is no "mystery" to abortion. A child is killed and a woman is wounded. The details are horrifying and bloody and you, Bob should know that.

Posted by: carla Author Profile Page at March 7, 2010 9:06 PM

Don't forget the "mystic" of what the child actually was that she killed. They told her it was 2 layers of cells. AT 4 WEEKS GESTATION! If she had been attempting to get pregnant and checking every single day, there's no way she would've caught the baby at that stage of development. He/she was more than just 2 layers of cells. He/she had a beating heart, a digestive tract, liver, etc. Since when did "demystifying" become "lying"?

Posted by: xalisae at March 7, 2010 9:51 PM

Bob and friends,

Here is a GRAPHIC abortion video. There are several others more horrifying than this one.

All righty then. Abortion. Totally "demystified!!"

Oh, and you know all of the graphic photos of aborted babies?? We are just "demystifying" what happens to the child in an abortion.

Posted by: carla Author Profile Page at March 8, 2010 6:12 AM

Abortion is the coward's way out for many women. And a selfish decision for many others. I don't see courage in aborting or in lying to a child saying "mommy's sick with an embryo".

And sometimes its the "choice" pushed on a scared woman with NO SUPPORT from friends or family to be a mother.

Why don't poor choicers do more to HELP women when they find out they are pregnant? And I don't mean offering to drive them to planned parenthood! I mean rent assistance, child care, finding a good job, etc.

Oh wait.....that's what PRO LIFERS do (rent assistance, child care, etc)
