Sunday funnies 1-3-10

Most political cartoonists this week aimed at President Obama and the Dept. of Homeland Security's miss of the Underwear Bomber. But here was a good one on the Life issue, by David Horsey at GoComics.com...

And here are 6 on various and sundry other 2009 issues...

Milehimama,

What a tragedy. The article states that 400-600 women were served each month.

Cartoon number 9:
"If it walks like a duck and talks like a duck..."
Let's not rush to any conclusions.....

Has this been reported to the FBI yet?

I'm puzzled by the Horsey cartoon. In this one, he almost seems to be taking an anti-ESCR stance, but in the past he's been a typically pro-ESCR cartoonist, accusing the right of trying to save "the poor, innocent stem cells."

Hi bmmg39,
He seems pro-ESCR by the fact that he sees the newborn as "another waste of perfectly useful stem cells" that could have been used for research. That's how I'm reading it...

No, no, no. By having a grumpy old man say such a ridiculous thing it's obvious the cartoonist is against the use of embryonic stem cells.

Here's where you can send funds to help the center rebuild:

ACTION: You can help the center rebuild with a donation to Living Hope Women's Centers, 1000 E. Huning St., Show Low, AZ 85901

That's one of Heritage House's CPCs- run by Dinah Monahan, author of the Earn While You Learn program, which so many CPCs and PRCs use. So, so sad- but they will rebuild, and God will use this tragedy to bring new ideas, more enthusiastic support and phenomenal growth so that more women and babies will be served than ever before.
