No matter what he may now say or sign, this is Barack Obama's ultimate plan to "fundamentally transform America" via publicly funded abortion in healthcare, by Glenn McCoy at GoComics.com...
Referring back to July 17, 2007, when a more candid Barack Obama pitched his dream for abortion in healthcare at a Planned Parenthood fundraising event....
To gain the whole world, but lose one's soul, what does it profit you, Mr. President?
To go down in history as the President that caused more innocent blood to be shed, what will your/his legacy be?
He isn't aware of the greater cost to/of his eternal resting place!
May the Holy Spirit not give him a quiet night sleep! May he dream of the suffering he will cause.

I would have had the knife at the stomach of a pregnant woman.
When it comes to babies that have been born, it is the GOP who holds the knife - cut education, keep people uninsured. The pro-birth party at its best!

John - you continue to be delusional. We're coming off a President that started two wars and plunged us into a recession (which I now see is leading to decreased birth rates - surely less pregnancies and more abortion) - and this President is the one whose "causing more innocent blood to be shed?" I mean, he's pro-choice, but what sweeping abortion reforms have been put in place? Did I miss some federal mandate that allows abortion up to 40 weeks now?
We're coming off a President that started two wars
EGV, you almost sound like a 9/11 truther. Were you opposed to military action after we were attacked on 9/11? All but one Democrat present for the vote a few days later authorized the president to use military force. Are you outraged at the Dems for that? I have no problem with your criticism about the war in iraq, btw, but I can only imagine how critical you'd be of Bush if he'd have made no response after 9/11.
keep people uninsured
You mean like Obamacare not helping most of the uninsured until 2014 at the earliest?Posted by: Fed Up at March 21, 2010 10:09 AM
Not to get picky, but in gladiator fights the thumbs-down was the one to say "spare him".Posted by: Nulono at March 21, 2010 10:14 AM
I highly doubt that President Obama wants abortion to be the "norm." Countries, like the Netherlands, where universal healthcare is widely available, have lower abortion rates. I doubt that abortion really registered on his radar, but if it did he would probably be pleased that this would lower abortion rates.Posted by: Vannah at March 21, 2010 12:03 PM
Vannah, the problem with comparing rates among countries is that the laws differ. Some European countries have waiting periods and addition restrictions that make meaningful comparison difficult.Posted by: Fed Up at March 21, 2010 12:28 PM
Dear Ex-GOP Voter
Each of us, as well as every President, will answer for what we do to the least of these!
I'm not taking sides in a political way, it's doing what is right with the gifts and positions we each have at our disposal.
President Obama has pushed and advanced abortion on demand his whole political life.
As a state Senator he voted against the live birth bill! Partial birth abortion too... What kind of heart would vote for this? One filled with the love of God or a stony heart filled with greed?
Watch a video or view photos of a late term abortion and ask yourself, Is this only a medical procedure to remove a bunch of cluster cells?
If God continues to hold off His wrath, our nation is birthing a generation that knows it's wrong and over one third of their generation was wiped out before they could speak!!!!!!!!They will stop this American holocaust.
If you participated in an abortion in any way, repent now, tomorrow may be to late.
There is no remission of sins without repentance.

In Catholic theology, there are sins of omission and sins of commission. Obama is guilty of both in his political actions regarding abortion. How do you not see that?

Remember Congressman Henry Hyde's words
"When the time comes, as it surely will, when we face that awesome moment, the final judgment, I've often thought, as Fulton Sheen wrote, that it is a terrible moment of loneliness. You have no advocates, you are there alone standing before God -- and a terror will rip your soul like nothing you can imagine. But I really think that those in the pro-life movement will not be alone. I think there'll be a chorus of voices that have never been heard in this world but are heard beautifully and clearly in the next world -- and they will plead for everyone who has been in this movement. They will say to God, 'Spare him, because he loved us!'"
Abortion will bring God's curse on America. . Infanticide was one of the major reasons for the decline of the Roman Empire. Millions more babies will be murdered in the abortion concentration camps thanks to this Satanic healthcare proposal. Healthcare for the elderly will be rationed. Stupak and his Democratic Party reps will one day answer to God for this. The Democratic Party had a choice between good and evil, between God and Satan. It chose Satan.
