Journal of Public Health publishes study linking autism to vaccines made with aborted fetal cells

study linking autism to vaccines made with aborted fetal cells

I’ve written previously (here and here) about the possible connection between autism and vaccines made with aborted fetal cells.

Now, the September issue of the prestigious Journal of Public Health and Epidemiology has published a study conducted by scientists at Sound Choice Pharmaceutical Institute that shows an spike in autism in country after country where vaccines using fetal cells from aborted babies have been introduced.

The implicated vaccines are MMR (measles/mumps/rubella), Varicella (chickenpox), and Hepatitis A.

Using data from the U.S. government, United Kingdom, Denmark, and Western Australia, researchers found a spike in autism around the world after vaccines using animal cells were replaced by vaccines using aborted fetal cells:

Autistic disorder birth year change points were identified as 1980.9, 1988.4 and 1996 for the US, 1987 for the UK, 1990.4 for Western Australia, and 1987.5 for Denmark. Change points in these countries corresponded to introduction of or increased doses of human fetal cell line-manufactured vaccines….

This pattern was repeated in the US, UK, Western Australia and Denmark. Thus, rising autistic disorder prevalence is directly related to vaccines manufactured utilizing human fetal cells. Increased paternal age and DSM revisions were not related to rising autistic disorder prevalence.

Lead researcher Dr. Theresa Deisher noted something more alarming, “Not only are the human fetal contaminated vaccines associated with autistic disorder throughout the world, but also with epidemic childhood leukemia and lymphomas.”

Right to Life of Michigan goes into great detail explaining the origin of the aborted fetal cell vaccine lines. The implicated manufacturers are Barr Labs, GlaxoSmithKline, Merck, and Sanofi Pasteur.

The RTL Michigan website lists other vaccines using aborted fetal cells and some alternatives. Unfortunately, there are currently no approved alternatives to the MMR, Varicella or Hepatitis A vaccines.

CDC and FDA implicated in cover-up

The bombshells don’t stop. From Sound Choice Pharmaceutical Institute’s press release announcing the publication:

Their study comes on the heels of recent breaking news that the CDC deliberately withheld evidence of the significant increase in autism among African-American boys who were vaccinated prior to 36 months of age.

So it should come as no surprise that the FDA has known for decades about the dangers of insertional mutagenesis by using the human fetal cell lines and yet, they chose to ignore it. Instead of conducting safety studies they regulated the amount of human DNA that could be present in a vaccine to no greater than 10ng.

Unfortunately, Dr. Deisher’s team discovered that the fetal DNA levels ranged anywhere from 142ng – 2000ng per dose, way beyond the so-called “safe” level.

“There are a large number of publications about the presence of HERV (human endogenous retrovirus – the only re-activatable endogenous retrovirus) and its association with childhood lymphoma,” noted Dr Deisher. “The MMR II and chickenpox vaccines and indeed all vaccines that were propagated or manufactured using the fetal cell line WI-38 are contaminated with this retrovirus. And both parents and physicians have a right to know this!”

Certainly these discoveries by SCPI should generate an immediate investigation by FDA officials, if not an outright ban on the use of aborted fetal cell lines as substrates for vaccine production. There are numerous other non-human FDA-approved cell lines that can and should be used.

Study on possible connection between autism and vaccines made with aborted fetal DNA presented at International autism conference

In April I wrote that it may be aborted fetal cells in childhood vaccines causing autism, not the commonly conjectured mercury. (Read here and here.)

Yesterday the Sound Choice Pharmaceutical Institute, the organization proposing that hypothesis, issued a press release stating its founder and lead scientist, Dr Theresa Deisher, had presented her organization’s initial findings at the International Meeting for Autism Research in Philadelphia May 20-22.

Backing up, the Puget Sound Business Journal reported in May that the M. J. Murdock Charitable Trust had bestowed a 2-yr $500k grant to SCPI to study the relationship between autism and vaccines that contain residual human DNA and also to determine just how much human DNA is in those vaccines.

The grant award was hefty enough for the PSBJ to speculate SCPI’s research “could expand a debate in biomedical ethics reminiscent of the clashes over the use of stem cells.” (Of course those stem cells would be embryonic, with PSBJ didn’t mention. But I digress.)

PSBJ also reported that since SCPI’s inception in 2008 it has received $425k from angel investors and $700k in donated professional services.

Bottom line: SCPI is a player.

SCPI reported its presentation at the autism research meeting was met with “shock and gratitude.” The study focused on “improper integration of the residual DNA as a possible contributor to autism, particularly in genetically susceptible infants.”

Dr. Deisher reported, “It is known from gene therapy studies that injected naked DNA can be transported to the brain (Wang et al. 2001); that improperly integrated therapeutic DNA has caused cancer in young children (Hacein-Bey-Abina et al. 2008); and that shorter DNA fragments have a higher probability of entering the nucleus [of the cells] (Lechardeur et al. 2002).”

Deisher reported that she and physicist Marissa LaMadrid, PhD, “are investigating whether improper insertion of DNA into the vaccine recipient cells can cause autism,” with 4 major areas of research.

I said earlier one area of study is how much human DNA those vaccines contain. Dr. Deisher reported, “The levels of residual DNA are well over FDA-recommended limits. Meruvax-II contains >140ng/vial ssDNA and >30ng/vial dsDNA, with average lengths of 215bp. Havrix contains >270ng/vial ssDNA and >30ng/vial dsDNA. The FDA-recommended amounts are 10ng/dose.

That alone sounds scandalous. provided additional helpful info:

As the abstract of the study indicates, autism rates in the US and the UK began to increase around the same time that the measles, mumps, and rubella (MMR) vaccine switched from using animal cells to using human cells that had been derived from aborted fetuses.

The use of such cells means that the vaccine might contain residual human DNA fragments. Dr. Deisher told LSN that “short fragments of human DNA residuals in vaccines present two well-documented potential physiological dangers” and “the possibility for auto-immune reactions.” While the immune system recognizes the DNA as foreign, its similarity to an individual’s own DNA can cause the immune system to attack parts of the individual’s own body.

Another danger springs from the length of the DNA fragments. Residual DNA fragments consisting of less than 250 base pairs (bp) have been shown to have a higher probability of entering the nucleus of human cells. Once inside the nucleus, short DNA fragments can integrate with the genome of the cell. The probability of integration is 1 billion times greater with DNA from the same species than with DNA from another species, according to the abstract.

The study explained that, as the average human DNA fragment length in the rubella vaccine is 220bp, it would be especially likely to enter the nucleus of a cell. Moreover, 25 of the “recombination hotspots” where the DNA fragment could likely combine are located in some of the autism-associated genes (AAG). Thus, such recombination could be one of the causes of autism.

According to SCPI, before children received many vaccinations and before vaccines contained aborted fetal DNA, only about 1 of 10k children was diagnosed with autism, whereas now 1 of 150 is diagnosed.

Amanda Marcotte, just another pro-abort fraud

While I think all abortion industry types are crooks and liars, there are some pro-abort ideologues who I believe are misguided but genuine.
amanda marcotte 7.jpgUntil 2 days ago I had Amanda Marcotte of Pandagon in that category. She’s harsh and anti-Christian, but I thought she was honest.
No more. On April 22 Marcotte wrote a post attacking my first post on the issue of vaccines containing aborted fetal cells potentially causing autism.
I anticipated pushback from the Left on the question of the autism connection (although I don’t know why it’s such a leap when it is commonly believed mercury in vaccines causes autism) but not on the fact that some vaccines indeed did and do contain aborted fetal cells. That’s just a fact. But Marcotte wrote…

Vaccines made with fetal cells causing autism?

epa fetal cells table.png

Well, hm. I’ve never heard this angle before, but it makes total, creepy sense…

An EPA study published February 16 in Environmental Science & Technology (pdf of study here) found that a marked increase in the incidence of autism began in 1988. See table above; click to enlarge.

The study found, “Although the debate about the nature of increasing autism continues, the potential for this increase to be real and involve exogenous environmental stressors exists.”

According to the April newsletter of the Sound Choice Pharmaceutical Institute, this is the year the 2nd dose of the MMR vaccine was added to the Advisory Committee on Immunization Practices vaccine recommendations.

SCPI found 3 “change points” in autism trends – 1981, 1988, and 1995. And here is what correlated to those years (click to enlarge):

sound choices chart.png

I’ve always read it was mercury in vaccines that was implicated in autism, although many studies state this isn’t true. According to the SCPI newsletter:

Interestingly, the vaccines that can be associated with the autism trend change points never contained mercury, and some animal produced vaccines used universally in the US before 1979 contained levels of mercury as high, if not higher, than current levels.

In light of the EPA’s findings, American Life League today joined SCPI in calling for a Fair Labeling and Informed Consent Act.

The conspiracy theorist in me wonders if the same sort of ideological culprits we see covering up the abortion-breast cancer link are also involved here. This would be a huge, huge blow to embryonic stem cell experimentation, for instance. That, and/or big pharma sees huge class action lawsuits on the horizon if this is proven.

Right to Life of Michigan has posted 2 easy to read charts listing vaccines made with aborted fetal stem cell lines and their moral and potentially safer alternatives.

That virus-laden DNA of aborted babies could be wreaking havoc on the DNA of healthy children is completely plausible.

Toyota 52 deaths, Gardasil 49. Toyota recalled.

By Barbara Hollingsworth of the Washington Examiner, reposted at, March 31:
toyota recall.jpg

Cervical cancer accounts for less than 1% of all cancer deaths, so it was somewhat surprising when the US Food and Drug Administration fast-tracked approval of Gardasil, a Merck vaccine targeting the human papilloma virus that causes the disease, in 2006.
As of Jan. 31, 2010, 49 unexplained deaths following Gardasil injections have been reported to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention’s Vaccine Adverse Event Reporting System. By contrast, 52 deaths are attributed to unintended acceleration in Toyotas, which triggered a $2 billion recall….

AIDS vaccine made with aborted fetal cells taken off market

Per, which tracks these things, the failed AIDS vaccine in the article below was derived from the retina of an 18-week-old fetus and has been used to create vaccines since 2001.
Not only did this vaccine fail to slow AIDS, it increased it.
nude%20mouse.jpgTo create the AIDS vaccine, Merck researchers modified the aforementioned fetal cell line by adding a cold virus and to that cold virus elements of HIV.
This fetal cell line is also known to cause cancerous tumors in nude mice (photo right). Cogforlife reports, “Worse news to ponder, this same cell line is being used in many other new vaccines under development.”
(For more information on this fetal cell line, go here and here and see FDA documentation here.)
The Washington Post, November 7….
