Why hasn't Stupak released voicemails of pro-abort threats?

UPDATE, 11:47a: Eric Cantor press conference:

11:38a: Republican House Whip Eric Cantor just held a press conference accusing House Democrats of fomenting violence by releasing threatening communiques received....

Cantor said someone shot a bullet through a window of his VA campaign office "this week" (turns out it was last night), which was only the latest in a long string of threats and violence he has endured - some because he is Jewish - since becoming Congressman.

Cantor said the proper response is to leave this matter to authorities. Instead, Democrats are encouraging copycats by giving thugs what they want, public attention.

He's so right. I'd already been thinking today why has Bart Stupak only released threatening and vulgar voicemails received after his anti-life vote in the House? It was he who had to be the one releasing the following voicemails to the press. WARNING: Graphic...

Meanwhile, recall that while Stupak was still a solid pro-life vote he got so many "harrass[ing]" and "obscene" calls - and "threats," his wife had to turn off her phone. According to The Hill on March 18:

The fight has taken a toll on his wife, who has disconnected the phone in their home to avoid harassment.

"All the phones are unplugged at our house - tired of the obscene calls and threats. She won't watch TV," Stupak said during an hourlong interview with The Hill in his Rayburn office. "People saying they're going to spit on you and all this. That's just not fun."

Again, why didn't Stupak ever release any of the threats received from abortion proponents?

Because abortion proponets kill innocent children and don't you think a coward would be intimdated by such people?

Michael Moore publicly took pride in saying he and his ilk harassed Stupak and his wife in Northern MI.
He said they called all night long.

Perhaps Stupak has the same concern as Cantor, namely encouraging copycats.

Who is the woman wearing green behind Stupak, on the right? She barely lifts her head throughout his speech. Just wonderin'.....

Kudos to Cantor for taking a stand against the sensationalizing of the so-called "threats" by the Dems and MSM.

Kelsey, that only works if he WASN'T releasing the message he's receiving now.
