Late-term abortionist Hodari's Livonia mill closed... for now

Read the backstory <a href="http://www.jillstanek.com/archives/2009/11/woe_is_late-ter.html" target=_blank">here.

Late-term abortionist Alberto Hodari has had 3 <a href="http://www.womancare-abortion.com/locations.html" target=_blank">of his 6 MI abortion mills up for sale for some time.

The other day pro-life supersleuth Lynn Mills thought the property not only looked like a dump, which would be normal, but also vacant. Here's a photo Lynn took this morning. The "For Sale" sign has been blown down for some time, she says, although the place is apparently still <a href="http://www.moveinmichigan.com/Searchdetails.aspx?ListingTag=423E323E8CEF4714856911MEZ4700614144E5V7" target=_blank">listed....

Lynn called and got confirmation. Then I called this morning and was told Hodari periodically closes the place for months when business is down. Lynn told me it has been "hit and miss" at the Livonia location for 5 years. They used to say the place was closed for remodeling, but that no longer passes the smell test, perhaps literally.

Receptionist Kimberly told me employees have been dispersed to other mills but strangely, as usually happens, women have started calling for appointments - when there were "zero patients" when the doors were open.

Lynn and I agreed the callers must be pro-life posers like us, checking up on the quack by pretending to want an exam. (Perish the thought.)

While perusing the place today Lynn also noticed some wires were down over one of the mill's entrances...

Lynn has notified Livonia's fire chief of the fire and safety hazard.

Lunch Break: Miss me yet?

To give us a break from the daily grind...

As a matter of fact I do, Mr. President. Very much. [JLS speaking]

Email Bethany with your Lunch Break suggestions.

Read the billboard's backstory on page 2.

<a href="http://www.aolnews.com/nation/article/miss-me-yet-nostalgia-for-george-w-bush-looms-large-on-minn-billboard/19350502?ncid=webmaildl1" target=_blank">AOLNews.com, today:

It's only been a year since a helicopter flew him out of the capital right after the inauguration of President Barack Obama. But some Americans will be pleased to know that George W. Bush is out there, watching over them after all. From a billboard, high above Interstate Highway 35 near Wyoming, MN, to be exact. And he wants to know if you miss him.

Someone has placed a giant photo of the former president on a billboard with the question, "Miss Me Yet?"

Until now, the billboard was thought to be a hoax, a clever doctoring of an image perhaps, meant to whip up anti-Obama sentiments in the blogosphere. But by Monday, it was clear: No one seems to know who put it there or why, but the "Miss Me Yet?" billboard is real.

MN Public Radio correspondent Bob Collins saw it himself:

It was late at night and I wasn't sure I'd seen the billboard correctly as I whizzed past it on I-35 in Wyoming last week on the way back from Wrenshall. But an e-mailer confirms I saw what I thought I saw.

It's beginning to sweep along the Internet, accompanied by various claims that it's a Photoshop fake. But it's not. It's real.

The creator is out there, somewhere. Collins said that it would be difficult to find him or her because the billboard's owner is also unknown. What is clear, however, is that Wyoming's mayor, Sheldon Anderson, wishes he had thought of the idea first. He sent an e-mail to MN Public Radio. "Wish I could take credit for it," he wrote.

In the words of Collins, "It's time to crowdsource this puppy."

Two more pro-life Super Bowl ads

Focus on the Family's Tebow ad got all the attention. But eagle eyes on our side found pro-life messages in standard fare Super Bowl ads.

About Dove Soap's Super Bowl ad, David Schmidt at the <a href="http://liveaction.org/blog/dove-ad/" target=_blank">LiveAction.org blog noted:

It is good to see that Dove is pro-science and understands the biology of when human life begins. Their Super Bowl ad correctly captures [that] scientific understanding....

Troy Newman at <a href="http://www.operationrescue.org/archives/my-vote-for-best-pro-life-super-bowl-ad-google%E2%80%99s-parisian-love-story/" target=_blank">Operation Rescue blog chose <a href="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nnsSUqgkDwU&feature=pyv&ad=3910815173&kw=super%20bowl%20google%20commercial" target=_blank">Google's Parisian Love Story as his pick for the "best pro-life Super Bowl ad."

This ad had already received 2 million views in the 2-1/2 months it was on YouTube before the Super Bowl. I've watched several times because it's so romantic...

Troy wrote...

All good advertising must mirror everyday circumstances. And who hasn't used Google to make travel plans, find restaurants, or define an unknown word? But Google's ad went a step further than just random searches; it told a love story that surprised me by its overt pro-life message.

With the popular Google search engine as the sole backdrop to the story, a man looks to Paris as place to go to school, and by way of an Internet search, he finds a café near the famous Louvre.

But the language of love is not lost in translation.

After a quick Internet search for chocolates and poetry, the long distance relationship culminates with wedding in a French church - yes church!

But wait! There's more.

After a proper courtship, and a Christian wedding, the Internet surfer looks for a way to assemble a baby crib, and the commercial ends with the quick cooing of a newborn baby.

Earth shattering? Ground-breaking?

Not hardly. But that is what I liked about it. Google was not trying to forge a new path of morality for the world. It wasn't 2 openly gay parakeets seeking a sordid love triangle with a mutant osprey. There was no wardrobe malfunction. There was no controversy. The ad reflected reality for most of the world. 2 kids fall in love, get married, and have a baby....

I think the Google ad is borne of a society that is tired of pushing the morality envelope and echoes the desire of most people for life to be normal and without the leftist drama. Boys and girls will fall in love, get married, and have a baby, which is the way God designed it.

And what could be more pro-life than that?

Jill Filipovic (above) is the latest case. Less than 2 weeks ago <a href="http://www.feministe.us/blog/archives/2010/01/26/teen-pregnancy-and-abortion-up-for-the-first-time-in-a-decade-thanks-abstinence-only-education/" target=_blank">she placed the blame of the rise in pregnancies among 18 and 19-year-olds solely at the feet of abstinence-only education. But now after years of attacking abstinence education, it appears Jill was only opposed to abstinence-until-marriage programs.

Maybe I'm mistaken but I never recall Jill posting anything about how abstinence-only-education could work if it wasn't abstinence-until-marriage-education. Instead, I recall numerous over-generalized comments which attacked any abstinence-only-education and lumped every kind of abstinence education together as bible-thumping moralizing (just like her recent column which assumes every abstinence-until-marriage program amounts teaches "condoms don't work and premarital sex is immoral" ).

Jill thinks the successful abstinence-only program "was exactly what the abstinence portion of a good comprehensive sex-ed class would look like. And it adds to the body of evidence that medically accurate, non-shaming sexual health education is the best and most effective kind of sex ed out there."

Except that the abstinence-only program wasn't a sex ed program. Students were less likely to have sex if they were in the abstinence-only program as opposed to the comprehensive program. Jill still seems to be having a hard time accepting the results of the study which show abstinence-only working better among some children than a comprehensive program.

Duggars rent Planned Parenthood landmark

Jim Bob and Michelle Duggar have moved most of their brood into a rented house in Little Rock, 3 hours from home but close to University of AR for Medical Sciences, where baby Josie grows stronger after her <a href="http://www.jillstanek.com/archives/2009/12/michelle_and_jo.html" target=_blank">premature birth on December 10.

Melody Cash of Seattle said. "I can't believe they rented the 'Planned Parenthood' house and they have 19 kids - that's just too funny. "...

I asked Jim Bob to fill me in about the house they're renting and if all of the kids have been staying there with them.

He said, "Well first, it's comical that the house we're renting was actually owned by a lady who started PP in Little Rock. There's even a plaque outside in the front yard.

<a href="http://duggarsblog.blogspot.com/2010/01/duggar-family-leases-home-with-history.html" target=_blank">That lady would be aptly named Brunhilde Kahlert Cornish, and she more than started PP there. She brought the eugenics movement to Little Rock. According to the <a href="http://www.encyclopediaofarkansas.net/encyclopedia/entry-detail.aspx?entryID=1625"target=_blank">Encyclopedia of AR History and Culture...

... Cornish was the founder of the AR birth control movement. She was instrumental in founding the organization that became the Planned Parenthood Association of AR.

Hilda Kahlert was born on January 24, 1878....

She moved to Little Rock in 1901 and married a widowed banker, Edward Cornish, in July 1902. The couple had 6 children between 1904 and 1917....

Cornish's husband committed suicide in 1928. After his death, she devoted much of her time to reform and social work. In the summer of 1930, she met Margaret Sanger, the founder and leader of the American birth control movement. The 2 developed a friendship maintained by correspondence and occasional meetings. During that summer, Cornish visited Sanger's Clinical Research Bureau in NY, and she launched the AR birth control movement later that same year.

At Cornish's initiative, a group of physicians, business and religious leaders, and women active in civic work formed the AR Eugenics Association (AEA). Rabbi Ira Eugene Sanders said, "It was suggested that because the movement might evoke criticism on the part of the rather orthodox and staid community, that we call it the AR Eugenics Association on the grounds that nobody would object to being well born."

In early 1931, the association opened the Little Rock Birth Control Clinic in the basement of Baptist Hospital. There, poor white women could get contraceptives at a time when men and women urgently sought to limit the size of their families.

What motivated Cornish and her fellow birth control advocates must be understood in the context of economics and the Great Depression. The AEA strongly argued that, as a consequence of the current economic hardships facing many, it was necessary to limit the number of children born into poor families. Information disseminated by this group played on peoples' fear that the poor were gaining in numbers and that this would add to the financial burden of all taxpayers - birth control was a solution offered to prevent "future charity cases."...

By 1940, many medical units across the state included birth-control services. The AEA... changed its name to the Planned Parenthood Association of AR in 1942....

Cornish... was also active in the Democratic Party during the 1940s.

Cornish died on November 19, 1965, and is buried in Oakland Cemetery in Little Rock.

I enlarged the plaque to read it. Historians are glossing over Cornish's eugenics history just as they do Margaret Sanger's. The plaque reads:

... Hildah Cornish (1878-1965) was prominent in social and political issues of the day. She was a leader in advocating birth control even though she had six children.

Feminist hysterical rant Round II: Focus on the Family promotes violence against women

First, a Super Bowl commercial break by Snickers...

And now back to our sponsor, me.

In Round I of the liberal feminist rant against Focus on the Family, our counterparts set the women's movement back 50 years by behaving hysterically and, as it turns out, without warrant, in advance reaction to the anemic pro-life ad starring Pam and Tim Tebow.

In Round II we see the feminists trying to distract the audience as they wipe the egg off their faces by displaying another stereotype, that they have absolutely no sense of humor and walk around with corncobs up their patooties....

Here are a few of liberal feminist Amanda Marcotte's tweets after watching the ad, which in an attempt to lighten the topic, showed Tim tackling his Mom...

Then there was this, from the <a href="http://www.latimes.com/news/nation-and-world/la-na-tebow-abortion8-2010feb08,0,1153376.story" target=_blank">Los Angeles Times:

Some were still angry after the ad aired.

NOW president Terry O'Neill said the ad glorified violence against women. "I am blown away at the celebration of the violence against women in it," she said. "That's what comes across to me even more strongly than the anti-abortion message. I myself am a survivor of domestic violence, and I don't find it charming. I think CBS should be ashamed of itself."

Then a voice of reason (and more evidence of a strategical split in the feminist movement):

Not all abortion supporters agreed. "It's absurd to claim that this is an endorsement of violence against women," said Frances Kissling, former president of Catholics for Choice. "These people came across as affectionate, loving, funny and happy."

But, Kissling said, Focus on the Family was lucky that abortion-rights groups made a stink. "If there had not been all of that publicity over the last 2 weeks, this ad could have passed almost unnoticed. Who would have known what they're talking about? It's so subtle."

I wonder if feminists will also call for a boycott of Snickers.

Reactions to Tebow ad

Posting good ones as I read them...

Gerard Nadal at <a href="http://gerardnadal.com/2010/02/07/an-open-letter-to-planned-parenthood-and-now/" target=_blank">Coming Home provides excellent analysis, catching a good comment by Christina at this blog, "When you're reduced to pitching a hissy fit that a mother brags about her baby, you're screwed."

The Tim Tebow spot, arguably one of the most controversial and anticipated Super Bowl commercials in recent memory, debuted with more whimper than bang....

But the ad never explicitly delivered its "pro-life" message.

Instead, Pam Tebow spoke vaguely about worrying about her boy and how she almost lost him "so many times," after which viewers were encouraged to visit <a href="http://www.focusonthefamily.com" target=_blank">focusonthefamily.com to hear their story.

So many heeded the call that the Web site either refused to open or moved slower than Abe Vigoda on the football field in that Snickers ad throughout the first half.

This has the anti-choice right wing on the blogs mocking the National Organization for Women and Planned Parenthood for "making a big deal over nothing."...

But the concerns of NOW and PP were absolutely spot on when you saw the final shot of the ad: "This message is brought to you by Focus on the Family." The idea that FOTF - an organization that believes in reparative therapy for LGBT people, that likens abortion rights to the Nazi holocaust, and that has shadowy connections to open hate groups - gets this kind of a mammoth public forum is an absolute disgrace....

[T]he idea that FOTF, an organization which stands unequivocally for the view that other women should be denied Pam Tebow's choice would get this kind of prime commercial real estate, exposes CBS as a frighteningly fraudulent operation. They should offer free commercial time to PP. And if Roe vs. Wade is ever deemed unconstitutional, I hope the executives at CBS ponder their role in this process.

Touchdown! The long-awaited, much-hyped ad from Focus on the Family aired shortly after the Colts and Saints kicked off at Super Bowl. And their early hit could have the last laugh on critics.

What could they say to this?...

For a week now, earnest groups have been protesting the anti-abortion, anti-gay rights Focus group getting CBS to change its policy against advocacy advertising and let this issue ad run.

Tebow ads

(See both Tebow ads on page 2.)

UPDATE, 9:42p: On the other hand, if this is as far as CBS would let Focus do, it got us a foot in the door. And again, thanks to the best PR rep in the universe, abortion and the "choice" lie got millions and millions of dollars of free publicity.

UPDATE, 9:10p: You know, the only reason I'm not aggravated by how Focus so totally watered down the pro-life message in the Tebow ad as to make it practically nonexistent is all the conversation it triggered beforehand.

That this was thanks only to pro-aborts could also be aggravating, despite the rich irony, in that MSM is only interested in discussing our topic if pro-aborts are interested....

But the Lord knew all this and magnified our feeble attempts while boomeranging the other side's hostility.

So it's still all good.

UPDATE, 7:23p: Another thought. I've spent a great deal of my adulthood fighting the "hysterical female" stereotype. I'd like to thank liberal feminist groups for setting us back.

UPDATE, 6:31p: My take: The ads are quite tame, ambiguous really. In fact, one wouldn't know their topic was the pro-life issue - that Pam made a "choice" to bring Tim into the world - were it not for all the hype.

If I didn't know anything about the ads, I'd say they were more about maternal and neonatal health... or maybe that a mom worries about her kid even when he's all grown up. Only the tag line at the very end, "Celebrate family. Celebrate life." alludes to the real theme.

So the last laugh is on pro-aborts. Really. They gave the Tebow ad a forum to discuss abortion that pro-lifers could never have gotten from it alone. <shaking my head... lol>

5:47p: Here's the Tebows' Super Bowl ad...

Pam: I call him my miracle baby. He almost didn't make it into this world. I can remember so many times when I almost lost him. It was so hard. Well he's all grown up now, and I still worry about his health. You know, with all our family's been through, you have to be tough...

Tim tackles Mom.

Pam: Timmy! I'm trying to tell our story here.

Tim: Sorry about that, Mom.... You still worry about me, Mom?

Click on the graphic to help pay for gas.

Pro-life connections abound in today's Super Bowl game. Recall former NY Giants Superbowl QB champ Phil Simms, who will be a CBS game analyst for CBS today, made a strong statement for Life in a <a href="http://www.jillstanek.com/archives/2010/02/american_life_l_3.html" target=_blank">1989 American Life League-sponsored pro-life video.

          In addition, <a href="http://www.lifenews.com/state4792.html" target=_Blank">LifeNews.com reports:

... Clyde Christensen, the assistant head coach of the Indianapolis Colts, has his own potential abortion story that changed his life.

Christensen's mother was an unwed teenager who gave birth to him when she was 15....

"I also can't help but look back and think of how easily my life and thus generations to follow could have been snuffed out before it ever got started," Christensen shared last year at a site for adopted people.

"I can't help but think of a 15-year-old, unwed, pregnant teen who made a courageous decision not to abort her child, but instead gave him a chance at life that over 50 million children since have not had. That child was me," he said.

He has still never met his birth mother - "but I am so grateful for her courage to have her child when it wasn't and still isn't to this day the choice of most."

In his February 6 <a href="http://www.onenewsnow.com/Perspectives/Default.aspx?id=885388" target=_blank">OneNewsNow.com guest column, "Tebow ad another reason pro-choice is losing," Dr. Richard Land inadvertently responded to complaints that <a href="http://www.focusonthefamily.com/" target=_blank">Focus on the Family could have spent its money in better ways than via media:

The "pro-choice" movement knows they are losing and that ultrasound machines and commercials like the Tebows' are confronting the country with the undeniable humanity of each unborn child, just as Harriet Beecher Stowe's Uncle Tom's Cabin put a human face on the 3 million slaves in America, thus hastening their liberation.

From the abolitionist movement, to the child labor movement, to the civil
rights movement, and to the pro-life movement, written and visual
media are important components of American social justice causes.
Sunday funnies 2-7-10

UPDATE, 6:06p: "Casket" made it into the top 3! Just aired. The 2 other top finalists were "Underdog" and "House Rules." Congrats, Mosaic!

8:31a: Tim Tebow's pro-life ad may not be the only one riling secular liberals during today's Super Bowl. We may also see an ad made by <a href="http://mosaic.org/" target=_blank">Mosaic Church in Pasadena, CA. It'll be for Doritos, and it won't be overtly Christian, but still - yet another sign Christians are daring to engage in pop culture, oh no!

Last autumn Doritos sponsored a Super Bowl ad contest, and by popular vote the Mosaic Church's "Casket" ad is now <a href="http://www.crashthesuperbowl.com/#/finalists" target=_Blank">1 of 6 finalists.

All 6 have already won $25k. But the top 3 vote getters, which are being kept secret, will air during the game today. And they each have a chance to win $1 million, $600k, or $400k, if ranked the 1st, 2nd, or 3rd most popular Super Bowl ad according to USA Today's Ad Meter.

Many members of Mosaic work in the film industry, and the church entered the Doritos contest to show Christians - shock - can be funny and relevant. Here's "Casket":

And here are the other 5 competing ads. Which are your top 3 favorites? Mine are, in order, "Kids these days," "Casket," and "House Rules."...

Breaking: Focus quadrupling down, airing 2nd Tebow ad 4x during pregame show

<a href="http://hotair.com/archives/2010/02/05/doubling-down-second-tim-tebow-pro-life-ad-now-set-to-run-during-super-bowl/" target=_blank">Hot Air says USA Today's alternate headline on this story could have been: "White House Super Bowl party now to feature two awkward moments." Here's that <a href="http://www.usatoday.com/money/advertising/2010-02-05-family05_ST_N.htm" target=_blank">story:

There's a new Super Bowl surprise from Focus on the Family: a 2nd ad.

The evangelical group that bought ad time in the CBS game telecast will announce today that it has bought time in the pregame show to air a 2nd ad 4 times....

The new ad also features star quarterback Tim Tebow and his mother, Pam. It was filmed in Orlando last month at the same time as the group's controversial - though yet unseen - in-game ad.

News of the 2nd ad comes just days after, anticipating the Tebow ad, <a href="http://www.jillstanek.com/archives/2010/02/planned_parenth_69.html" target=_blank">Planned Parenthood posted an online ad featuring Olympian Al Joyner and former NFL player Sean James defending abortion rights. Interest groups including the National Organization for Women have asked CBS to <a href="http://www.jillstanek.com/archives/2010/02/why_are_feminis.html" target=_blank">drop the Tebow ad.

Although Focus on the Family won't reveal its ads' details, CEO Jim Daly says the original ad was rejected by CBS. In it, Pam Tebow, who was advised by a doctor to have an abortion for medical reasons when pregnant with her son, said, "Both of our lives were at risk."

"They felt that was too much," he says. "So we dropped the line. We didn't fight them." The word "abortion" is never used.

The ad is "an open discussion on the sanctity of human life - not just the issue of abortion," Daly says. It was made for less than $100k with "a bit of humor in it - in fitting with the Super Bowl theme."

The ad has gotten more pregame buzz than any other game ad. "It's become a flashpoint because everybody keeps telling us it's a flashpoint," says Robert Thompson, pop culture professor at Syracuse University. "Many people who didn't know who Tim Tebow was now know the whole narrative. They could pull the ad (now) and save $2.8 million (the estimated cost of the ad time in the game)."

But the group estimates that by the game's end, the ad also will have gotten $10 million worth of free exposure.

"I've seen this called brilliant marketing strategy," laughs Daly. "Well, I can assure you this was not something where we sat down to demonstrate brilliance."

The idea came from the group's film unit. Daly decided it was a Super Bowl ad. "I thought it was the perfect moment."

He coaxed CBS to ease the game's unwritten ban on advocacy ads. CBS says it's adjusting to a changing society. "We have for some time moderated our approach to advocacy submissions after it became apparent that our stance did not reflect public sentiment or industry norms," spokeswoman Shannon Jacobs says.

Daly says don't look for Focus on the Family again next year. "It would lose its punch."

Weekend question: How many kids are too many?

This week's People magazine cover story features Michelle, Jim Bob, and Josie Duggar, and it asks the inevitable question asked every time the Duggars have another baby, "How many kids are too many?"

They say they're leaving the kid count up to God...

Having a mega-family turned the devoutly Christian couple into reality sensations: Their TLC show <a href="http://tlc.discovery.com/tv/duggars/19-kids-and-counting.html" target=_blank">19 Kids and Counting... is in its 3rd season.... But for every fan of the show - the TLC special covering Josie's birth garnered more than 3 million viewers - there have been detractors in online chat rooms, on parenting Web sites and within the medical community, who have been critical each time Michelle has announced a new pregnancy on average every 18 months....

"I think that's too many kids," says Dr. Douglas Downey, a general surgeon based in FL. "From a family resource perspective, there is no way you can give the emotional and financial resources you would need to support that may children...."

But the Duggars, who don't use any contraception, remain committed to their belief that "each child is a gift from God" and are open to having more....

Michelle acknowledges that she has never before encountered the sort of challenges she will face while parenting a preemie. "It is not as if we're going for another [baby] immediately. This is going to be a year of different focus for me, getting Josie through her 1st year of life."

Even without a preemie to care for, the Duggars would not normally conceive for several months. Taking a cue from the Bible, the couple practice 40 days of abstinence after have a boy; 80 days after having a girl. "Not that we feel like we are under the Old Testament law," explains Jim Bob. "But there are spiritual benefits that come from that." Agrees Michelle: "It strengthens our relationship."...

Critics who believe the Duggar children are a strain on government finances can rest easy: The Duggars live debt free in a 7k-sq. ft. home they built themselves, and Josie's medical costs are covered by insurance. They've made their living by being frugal, profitable real-estate investments and earnings from their book <a href="http://www.google.com/products/catalog?q=the+duggars+20+and+counting&oe=utf-8&rls=org.mozilla:en-US:official&client=firefox-a&um=1&ie=UTF-8&cid=6490306508795028361&ei=7nxtS-_fI4jSM9r2lNcE&sa=X&oi=product_catalog_result&ct=result&resnum=3&ved=0CBIQ8wIwAg#ps-sellers" target=_blank">The Duggars: 20 and Counting! and their TLC show. "People see debt as a gift and children as a burden," says Jim Bob. "Not us. Debt is a burden, and children are a blessing."

So how do you answer People's question? And as an aside, I don't recall reading the Bible's post-birth coital instructions. Must be in Leviticus, which I confess I tend to gloss over. Fascinating. Any insights on that from scholars in the crowd?

James O'Keefe's "race problem"?

Crossposted at <a href="http://bigjournalism.com/jstanek/2010/02/04/james-okeefe-protector-of-african-american-children/" target=_blank">BigJournalism.com...

On February 2, the Left moved to its next predictable attack of James O'Keefe from its playbook, <a href="http://www.salon.com/news/feature/2010/02/03/james_okeefe_white_nationalists/index.html" target=_blank"> charging him with racism, including the disparaging graphic, right.

But the Left accusing O'Keefe of being racist against blacks is the equivalent of accusing Oskar Schindler of being racist against Jews....

Pro-lifers know that before O'Keefe became famous throughout the world at large for his undercover sting of ACORN, he was <a href="http://www.jillstanek.com/archives/2009/09/james_okeefe_un.html" target=_blank">famous in our world for his undercover sting of Planned Parenthood. In 2008 O'Keefe helped expose PP as the racist organization it was founded to be by eugenicist Margaret Sanger.

The sting was simple. The UCLA pro-life student group <a href="http://liveaction.org/index.php/projects/racism" target=_blank">LifeAction.org had O'Keefe call several PPs around the country pitching a very racist but enticing idea, the offer to donate money - but only if PP would earmark it specifically to abort black babies, to "lower the number of blacks in America."

No PP employee balked at or denied O'Keefe's request. One even expressed excitement: "Alright. Excuse my hesitation, this is the first time I've had a donor call and make this kind of request, so I'm excited, and want to make sure I don't leave anything out."

But don't take my word for it. Hear for yourself...

O'Keefe got the same response over and over, from ID, to OH, to OK, to NM...

In all, racist PPs in 7 states took O'Keefe's bait. His investigation scandalized PP, resulting in multiple news stories, firings, and investigations.

O'Keefe's investigation aided in our effort to expose the abortion industry as racist, with blacks as a primary target. While African-Americans comprise only 12% of the population, they account for 35% of all abortions, at least 1,400 every day.

I'm confident James O'Keefe has demonstrated more concern for the welfare of African-American children than any of the predictably boring Lefists accusing him of racism.
