I think she thought she was being compassionate, what with her crocodile tears and all. I am proud of the people in the audience that reacted with shock. What would she have society do? Abort unborn girls because incidents of reported sexual abuse are higher with girls than boys. That way girls may be able to avoid the abuse all together by not being born. What if a child is born into a seemingly loving family but eventually things change? Should we euthanize the child at that point? Instead of working to eliminiate an evil(child abuse), she would have us eliminate the victims of said evil. Isn't that giving into the abusers and giving up on the children? The foster system is rife with abuse. Instead of having a foster system, would she have us euthanize children that might need foster care instead of giving them to foster parents?
