I'm so excited! According to blogger spatula at the left wing Morons.org, the #1 Most Moronic Story of 2007 was (drumroll, please)...
Had the other side not been damaged by the Aurora PP debacle, it would not even have been remembered to make the list, but #1! It even beat Iraq!
And by the way, there is plenty of evidence of wrong-doing. But Aurora Mayor Tom Weisner and city attorney Alayne Weingartz are going to moronic lengths to overlook the rule of law in their strange quest to enable PP. Meanwhile, pro-life investigations, lawsuits and subpoenas still abound. Stay tuned.
And to all pro-lifers helping fueling the Aurora PP story, please take a bow.
They are such unbelievably bold faced liars...wow.
But that's a good thing like you said...it shows that we are definitely hurting them!!
Look at this comment by a pro-choicer in reply to the post about Aurora (you get redirected when you click the link that says "there was no evidence of wrongdoing"):
"I've said it before, and I'll say it again: if you have to lie to support your position, then your position is not worth supporting. Anti-choicers, take heed. People notice when you lie, and they remember, and it hurts your credibility."
LOL! The irony is unbelievable.

I'd rather be called anti-choice than pro- murder.Posted by: heather at January 2, 2008 8:46 AM
Hey guys, remember the girl I told you all about who aborted about 4 months ago? Guess what? She's pregnant again. She says she will not abort again. She's ecstatic. Atonement baby?Posted by: heather at January 2, 2008 8:51 AM
Yay! One more soul. I truly hope this will heal her from herselfPosted by: carder at January 2, 2008 8:58 AM
carder, She called me last night. Her exact words "I will never have another abortion." However, you know what I was thinking....atonement baby.Posted by: heather at January 2, 2008 9:01 AM
It's just too bad that a lesson had to be learned over the death of a child. However, I was glad to hear that she would not repeat abortion.Posted by: heather at January 2, 2008 9:02 AM
No wrongdoing -- the city administration couldn't even cite the proper zoning document to it's "so called" independent investigators.
This is just laughable.
Also, a pregnancy after just 4 months [post abortion] Before it was "No way." "I cannot have it." Now it's "I am so happy/excited about it." "I want to have another child before I'm too old." She already has a son. I'm not knocking her, but I'm befuddled.Posted by: heather at January 2, 2008 9:07 AM
What a great left-handed compliment.
It is obvious from the hearings so far, there definitely was wrong-doing on the part of PP and Aurora officials.
Next meeting is January 7th.Posted by: LB at January 2, 2008 9:07 AM
okay, sorry for going off topic.Posted by: heather at January 2, 2008 9:08 AM
Thank you Heather for sharing that!! I am thankful that your friend is going to have this baby!Posted by: Carla at January 2, 2008 9:08 AM
Carla, no problem!Posted by: heather at January 2, 2008 9:11 AM
It's astounding that we were the #1 headache for pro-choice liberals this year. I can't believe that my hometown is in the middle of this, and that I have the honor of being a small part of it!
BTW, even the City's own documents acknowledge that PP was deliberately misleading and unethical, but PP opened because their misleading documents did not constitute anything "illegal" (this was before Zoning ordinances were more fully explored). In my opinion, any non-profit organization, particularly one in charge of providing any sort of health services, has a responsibility to be transparent above and beyond what is necessary in normal business practices. Certainly, the four non-profits that I have worked for took that approach as a matter of public responsibility.Posted by: EH at January 2, 2008 9:30 AM
Ha. I love it. They probably think that we will be insulted by this. I'd like to thank the academy.....Posted by: Carrie at January 2, 2008 9:50 AM
I do hope your friend is able to cope with all the feelings I'm sure she will have when she goes through this pregnancy. I'm sure she'll come to realize that having this baby doesn't make up for the baby she got rid of.Posted by: Elizabeth at January 2, 2008 10:03 AM
Elizabeth, I know. I find it peculiar that nothing in her life has changed. Her son is bi racial, and her aborted child was as well. This baby will also be bi racial. She has the same job, same b/f. What makes this situation any different than her last? Nothing. Maybe she is feeling guilt over the abortion. She did tell me that it made her feel "horrible."Posted by: heather at January 2, 2008 10:09 AM
A neighbor friend of mine who had an abortion years ago used the same adjective: horrible.
But she still feels it's a woman's choice.Posted by: carder at January 2, 2008 11:46 AM
carder, her abortion is still so fresh. I'll bet she's still in denial. I'd like to see what happens to her life in about 10 years. Odd, after her abortion, she had a string of bad luck. I'll spare you the details, but I know it's got her thinking.Posted by: heather at January 2, 2008 11:55 AM
I'm sure nothing is different..I'm sure she just realized that it isn't a simple "choice." It's too bad it took a baby's life to come to that realization.Posted by: Elizabeth at January 2, 2008 12:15 PM
carder, so we both have friends who believe that horrible choices should remain legal.Posted by: heather at January 2, 2008 12:30 PM
