Thank God he was saved..physically AND spiritually! Late last night, my brother was not as fortunate. He died suddenly before my other brother found him. He had been'saved' at one time, but turned his back on God later. I did not get an opportunity to pray with him like that before he died, and..as far as I know...he died an Atheist.

Pamela, I'm so sorry about your brother. At least he had known the truth before, and only God knows what happened before his death. I pray God will give you comfort and His peace.

You don't know for sure that your brother died an atheist. It is quite possible that in God's mercy he came back to Jesus in that split second before death.
Also, if you prayed for his conversion, those prayers are often not wasted. Continue to pray for him. I don't know if you are Catholic but as a Catholic I pray for the souls who are now in the next life.

No, I don't know for sure. That is my prayer every second since he died, that he had time to repent before life left him. No, I'm not Catholic, so I don't believe in praying for those who are already dead. I only pray that he had enough time BEFORE he died. Thank You, angel, for your kind words.
