Moderator Bethany has her own blog, Happy to be called Mommy. Yesterday Bethany posted a photo of a special drawing. She explained:
The picture below was done by [son] Caleb, and it meant a lot to me and was very special. The reason? The picture is of our family tree. On the top you'll see our ancestors who have passed away, and they all have wings. The bottom 3 smiley faces are Caleb, Noah, and Bonnie - and if you look to the right, there's another little branch that Caleb added with a smiley that had wings. He told me that one was Blessing, our baby that we lost through miscarriage.

Actually Bethany, I was just thinking about this yesterday. I think you don't mind talking (though of course if you do, I'll understand), but I can't remember if y'all thought that Blessing was a twin? Or was there an additional pregnancy that you thought might have been twins? I thought there was something about you and twins but I can't remember. God love you.

Bobby, we had another miscarriage 3 months after blessing, which we were told might be twins, but we never did find out. It was too early to be able to know for sure- I'll know one day.
Did you notice on Blessing's smiley that Caleb put half of a blue smiley and half of a pink one behind and put a yellow one on top? That was because we never knew if it was a boy or a girl.
By the way, I am 8 weeks pregnant now and I got another ultrasound today- the babys heartrate was about 160 beats a minute!

How cute is this Family Tree!!! I'm tempted to print it and give it to the kindergarten teachers at school for a class project idea. I love the fact that Caleb put pink and blue behind the yellow smiley.
