Hey, I was actually going to write a comment about her! Whether you're religious or not, you have to admit that she's a talented person!

Actually, I was going to write about her because she's done a couple of portraits about unborn children and I thought that you might be interested. :)

I found out about her when I was looking for paintings to get inspiration from and I was blown away. She's very talented and has a good heart (and a very wise head). :)

I had heard about her through Shawn Bolz, author of "The Throne Room Company", who has had multiple heavenly visions/visitations himself.

Her art is really annointed. God is going to influence American culture through artists like Aki and yourself.

My 'discerner' is at level 'orange'.

There is no doubt that Akiane is somewhat of a prodigy or virtuoso, but her rendering of Jesus as a fair skinned green eyed GQ coverboy looking male is at odds with the narrative in the 'book'.

My son and I were driving the other day and a pickup truck passed us with an ornate overstuffed winged chair/throne in the back and I said that chair looks like something you would see in a 'psychic/curandera' office.

The next block the truck turned into the parking lot of the local 'psychic/curandera'.

We both laughed.

Then that evening I was channelsurfing and paused on local religious channel where 'brother love' a self described christian prophet was pontificating at length while seated in chair/throne that was eerily similar to the one in the back of that truck.

This was 'The Twilight Zone' in high def.

I got the same kind of feeling when I first saw Akiane on youtube several years ago.

The narrator refers to Akiane's art as 'spiritual'.

At least that is how her mom is 'promoting' Akiane.

That is probably an accurate assessment as in 'spiritist'.

There is something not quite 'right' about Akiane and her mom.

When it comes to artwork, it appears that your discernment gauge may be more sensitive than mine Bro Ken.

When I look at her art, and I haven't seen anything outside of the above clip, I see a lot more that blesses / inspires than red flags.

To some extent, beauty is in the eye of the beholder. Some of us like older hymns, some newer songs...

I just marvel at the talent. When I draw a cow, a horse, a dog and a pig, they all look the same!

I have no doubt it was an urgent msg her visitor brought, but from a different source than she suspects. Sadly, as I read more, it seems that this gifted young woman has embraced this type of philosophy that is a direct contradiction of John 14:6 and Acts 4:12. I pray she'll know the one True God who has given her such talent and He will use her mightily.

Ouch. I had heard about her from a minister I respect quite a bit but this was years ago when she was 8 or 9 years old. Like the Word says, satan comes immediately to steal the Word. It's too bad her mother or father didn't develop any discernment to keep her from those negative influences.

Let's pray she gets back on track.
