Nothing better than praise for patriotism.

I bet you all you would have to have to get that 'feeling' moving through the crowd is one family to start clapping when a group of soldiers were moving through the terminal.
I always try to at least say thank you when I see soldiers at the airport. What I really like to do is give them enough money for at least one good meal. I have not yet been able to work up the courage to ask them to do me the honor of sharing a meal with me. My hope is that someday, they will ask me to join them. That would be awesome.
My dad sacrificed a lot to keep us safe and free when he was in the Army in WWII. The horrors of war that he was forced to witness and experience wounded him far worce than a bomb or a bullet ever could.
Thanks dad.
I try to think of you when I see soldiers going off to war.
I regret I did not know the price you paid until years after you were gone.
Give mom a hug for me.
