Lunch Break: Rep. Patrick Kennedy rips media

To give us a break from the daily grind...

U.S. Rep. Patrick Kennedy has a withering assessment of news media coverage: 'despicable.' The Democrat says reporters are focusing '24/7' on sexual harassment allegations against a NY lawmaker while ignoring the war in Afghanistan.

Newsflash. The Dem party is not particularly anti-war. They just pander to anti-war folk during the election cycle. Those of us who are anti-war are particularly annoyed that Obama escalated the war in Afghanistan etc.

Ummm... the media may be horrid but that drunken rant was pathetic and most people would be fired for that kind of display. I hope he's getting help.

It might have been over the top, but Pat Kennedy is correct for a change. We need to re-access our priorities if Afghanistan cannot be stabilized through a offensive 'surge,' while al Qaeda leadership is still at large just over the Pakistan border.

The guy who financed the destruction of my office building is still at large. And our executive branch has failed to capture or kill him for 9 long years.
