Do you think that Republicans now should sort of shift the emphasis, though, from stressing social and family values and shift to more - to economic issues and be a party of economic conservatives rather than putting so much emphasis on these social issues?

"these" social issues. Like life I suppose. It's all about the money I suppose.

"Don't you think you're stupid for being socially conservative, and maybe you should just drop the social issues all together and go away? I mean, I understand your economics, because capitalism makes more sense than socialism, even though I want socialism, but why do you always have to be telling people when they do bad things?"

What a dummy.

I'm not sure we can call Republicans "economic conservatives". They voted for the stimulus bill without reading the darned thing. As I see it, the Republican Party doesn't stand for much these days.

We've been neutered, Janet. Not sure why, we just have. Lately I've been thinking it's probably going to take a woman to help us grow our cojones back, since it seems that the women in the Republican party are the only ones with the...fervor...these days. :P
